How different is 2.5 Data Org compared to Final Mix Data Org? I know about the lagging of 2.5 and the pausing to avoid it, but what other differences are there?
+ShyRanger You have to do Final Xemnas safer/slower due to RCs not working much during throw move. Other than that, it's just a slower run with more pause buffers
+Dajman2707 Gaming You can still pull off the Xigbar strat luckily. I've been testing it but you have to pull it off differently. Firstly you do around 4 bars of health to make up for the extra damage and then when you do use Duck Flare you have to use it after the first horizontal slash. This makes it seem as long as the original KH2FM because it also lasts longer. Other than that I believe it's the same. Just make sure when you are using the Duck Flares you try and get around just over 5 bars left otherwise he will instantly DM and kill the time you had. My channel has the Xigbar fight from KH2FM HD and you can see the differences. EDIT: #ShamelessPlug
Would giving Donald and Goofy proper equipment make a difference? At least a complete set of full bloom + should be worth something. Allowing them to attack in more of the fights might also help thanks to the chip damage(however small it may be).
Congrats Biz! There were 2 little things I was curious about, though. Against Lexaeus, is there any real benefit to using the RC at all? And against Marluxia, near the end of the fight when you use Final then Limit, would using Limit first then Final be worth it at all?
+Zack Rhodes For Lexaeus: Prob not, since the RC animation of stealing the powerup is more than just blowing him down. For Marl: I would consider it a bit more risky, since final fire works really well
+Sebastian Montes and also no, drives consume different amounts of gauge. wisdom and valor use 3, limit and master use 4, and final uses 5. These runs usually only requires one final form, two limit forms, one final and then a limit, or none at all per battle.

Sure there were a tew errors before like both Xemnas and Demyx because Goofy/Goffy but i figured you would try out some new strats like the DM skip you did for Vexen. Hey Biz, I just tested it, and for Data Saïx, you can use Peter Pan with 2 Air Combo Pluses and High Jump LV3 to get more damage in faster. It's very easy to count the hits on and I feel it's kind of a safer strat, and a little more consistent.
Mass respect for showing your stats. By the way, you don't need to go proving you're on critical, brother. Just look at where you are in the game and at the length of your health;)
So basically absolute possible difference without new strats is about 55 seconds, but only with perfect play and amazing luck with RNG. A great run to watch!
+Game Addict I think they have to do Xigbar first so that he spawns the correct arena to loop him in, hence why the ending of the Xigbar fight is more important than that of the Xaldin fight (Xaldin's last hit is more consistent atm than Xigbar since RNG on Xaldin is manipulated enough to prevent DMs)

The point is Level One. You can grind to level 99 stats, at which point doesn't really mean level 1 anymore. The only boost allowed (if any) is the Strength Boost in Olympus Coliseum, since that's given to you for free.

On a quick youtube search, you can see a guy got 38 secs. I haven't found anyone doing under 1 minute outside of emulator(which I don't think counts for the leaderboards), but the damage output of lv 99 Sora with 80 across all stats spamming FFFiraga or Zantetsuken+Ars is so insane that I think even a console run should hardly take 3 minutes. Biz himself takes around 4:40 to kill him at lv1 with no stat boosts and with half assed growth abilities. I mean, in that vid, he takes over 1 minute to get Terra to leave phase 1, while LV 99 Sora with all 80's would push him beyond that EASILY in a few seconds of Ars-Zantetsuken or FFFiraga, and neither form would even run out. 3 minutes is hardly a milestone.

I think it's probably part memorisation from the English version, part reading katakana (most spells are the same, and the attacks and reaction commands tend to have English names) and part just learning as you go, as you do normally regardless of language. KH2 isn't that complex of a game, especially since there's a lot more emphasis on situation-specific quick time events than the other games in the series.
hey biz, i'm trying Terra at level 1, how does one get to the second phase safely, and how do i avoid getting the drones to come out after doing a combo on him during bike fase?
+highwind6325 i saw it but i still don't know how to avoid getting or surviving his glider bike as a retaliation move. Sometimes when i get to phase 2 Terra launches the shooting drones and goes into glider mode, and when he starts with the glider i just surrender and wait for him to kill me.
+Breno Ranyere Glider is the most brutal phase and he talks about how he can't explain it very well in the description. Most likely you'll die but just keep guarding them and moving in to counter like the video says when he is done. The drones you can Aerial dodge kill, but are VERY hard to defeat and you should try to wait them out.
To make your time a little bit faster I know I technique you could use for Xigbar when you're fighting him do almost exactly what you did when you going to final form heal and make sure you have dessert and also make sure that he made the room smaller. And this will allow you to attack him so much that he'll have less than one health bar left every time depends on what your strength is also but still
Anyone here knows the rules for attempting Lvl 1 data org? I can't seem to find specific rulings on this category anywhere. I assume you can't use Power/Def/Magic boosts. Are AP Boosts legal? Is there something else I should know before attempting this run? Thank you.
AP Boosts are fine (since an accessory can solve any AP items anyway, no reason to ban them). Power/Defense/Magic boosts are not allowed though, since then you could just boost your stats to LV99 and make it a pointless run.

Why Don't you use Ultima Weapon or Winner's Proof since you are usin alot of Magic such as Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, etc. I think it would be faster to kill then using decieve pumpkin which has a magic stat of 1 which is very weak.

There's an ability thing called zero exp that you get at the start of crit. drive forms and summons still level tho
