During the great depression of the 1930's millions of people were homeless. Many DIED! Thanks to FDR we have a better survival network for
the poor and disabled , but
with rent prices so Very High , Medical Debts so very costly , and wages so horribly low , the reality is that the poor are people who used to be working class and middle-class who have lost everything they had prior to the 2008 recession foreclosures , or
pandemic work losses , or Disgustingly expensive Medical Costs and High Rents.
Yet the Rich are taking in money from Abuses of the poor, working, and middle class people . Also the Rich spend their Money Gambling on Wall Street. It's the Roaring 1920's all over again. The economy is Delusionally Booming . Warmongering is being considered a solution again as it was in the 1930's and 1940's. I have no trust of the wealthy or of media or leaders, or churches for that matter. Greed and Narcissistic fantasy is all they want to focus on. Not the rest of the masses of humanity that they Cause Suffering to by their stupid

I see him all the time shimmy up in there. It's not going to collapse its solid concrete. The only thing I don't understand is why there are crawl spaces under the bridge. They may be using it as a way to access cables and pipes instead of putting them in the ground. May offer a source of warmth if the pipes are carrying hot water too. It's also a VERY safe and secure space. One way in and its concrete. Hard to rob him and hurt him. I always applauded him for his ingenuity.

This actually happened in another city just a couple of years ago. I believe in that case, was only one or two people that had actually created a surprisingly livable space within. One of the most surprising stories came out of New York City where within a decommissioned tunnel one homeless man had lived for years in a small space under a hatch in the ground. His tale was featured on a news broadcast reporting on the city's plan to remove any of the residents regardless of the absence of crime and with no plans to develop the area. In my opinion, if there's no evidence of crime, theft, health risks, or a reasonable solution to the circumstances that had him living in the quarters to begin with, I see no reason to make life even more difficult for someone less fortunate.

That bridge you see in the video as well as two others have been destroyed due to fires set by the homeless. I don't see this as such a bad thing. In an emergency situation like homelessness, it seems like a harmless, safer option than sleeping on the streets or even shelters filled with struggling strangers. The idea of them causing damage or even a fire seems somewhat far fetched since it all looks like concrete to me.

If they aren't a safety risk by doing what ever they are doing inside a structure that is meant to allow vehicles to safely passage a gap in the terrain, then you go ahead and describe to me what is going on inside so I feel safe to cross a bridge meant for travel. How about you house all these homeless people instead? Maybe if we didn't have so many illegal immigrants taking away the housing and funds, we could actually do something about this. I'm sure California and Oregon can give us some pointers on how to handle the homeless situation better.

Once or twice a day, you remove the bag and toss it in the trash dumpster (yes that is legal).
