- Anissa Tinnin says she and her 4-year-old granddaughter were watching the Taylor Swift "Eras" tour film when a nightmare began. Out of nowhere, she says, an intruder appeared in the dining room of her Albuquerque home. Cops say the intruder was fleeing police after crashing a stolen vehicle. Tinnin grabbed her gun and shot the suspect when he re-entered her home. She is not facing any charges but the intruder survived and will be charged with burglary and auto theft.
She had every right to defend herself.

It's New Mexico. Ever been there? The have exactly the kind of state government and public employees they deserve.
I don't think the dispatcher said this out of malice, it sounds bad but the dispatchers will pry as much information as possible for the record later when there is an investigation. Makes corroborating events a heck of a lot easier.
In fairness, he gave her the opportunity to give a stellar defence - in the heat of the moment, before having time to formulate a defence. That recording is probably the reason she's not facing an investigation or charges.

Well, we can clearly see that now, but remember a week ago, when the old guy killed that uber driver. Without knowing the details, you would think he was defending himself from someone who threatened him, but on further investigation, to me it's clear he murdered her knowing she was no threat to him.
