Soooo how do you finish off the circle and then what do you do with a circle other than make a coaster .... can't turn this into a blanket unless it's squared off ??? And there are a few stitches that you need to finish off you can't just fastened off the two colors with the way they are ...

yes , it's the same, you can use a smaller crochet hook or a thinner yarn.
