this makes me soo proud to be hmoob...its nice to see we still have some similarities...the part where they stop half way to have lunch took me back to when i had my wedding...brought back soo much memories...I did notices that the bride didn't change...i guess thats the part that is different from ours in the U.S...Bride would wear the groom's side of the family's clothes then when she returns from her parents side of the party, she would wear her side of the family's clothes...it gives the bride a mother and daughter moment for the last time that she would help put clothes on her daughter...this clip makes my heart soo happy..thank you sonny

its crazy how intelligence is measured differently across the world. wheres the need for mathematics and calculus when you have to know how to use every part of a specific animal?
i love these type of videos where you explore other cultures. showing it to the world, making more and more people becoming more open and understanding of other cultures. most conflict happens due to misunderstanding, when everyone understand each other better, it will create a better world. keep up the good work, and hope the pandemic ends as soon as possible so that sonny can explore other countries' cultures too..
It's not bad, younger generation don't like it that much... We also eat that here in Arunachal Pradesh, India..but it's mostly preferred by elders because of its bitter taste... I personally don't like it.....but all the elders love it and you will find in every feast here in our tribe (Tani tribe)
I appreciate seeing and learning about Hmong people from Thailand. I live in the 2nd largest population of Hmong in the US, Fresno, California. They love the agricultural here. I've seen way much bigger pig heads at Hmong local markets here. You should look for a funeral for a general from the Vietnam war. They have very special celebrations that take days, big food and Hmong dance and music. I have a picture of General Vang Pao dedicating the Hmong Vietnam war memorial in Fresno, CA.
I'm gonna guess you're not from South India, lol. I'm Indian-American but my ancestry is Tamil Brahman. I went for my cousin's wedding a while back, and while I was certainly happy FOR her, 95% of the affair was SO LONG AND BORING. The best thing was the food of course, but hardly a true celebratory affair like you see with Punjabi weddings. Regardless, I hope the Covid situation gets better soon.

This is awesome. I am Hmong and it’s always great to see other people get to experience our culture
Missed this kind of things. The way all villagers helping together to prepare massive food for the bigger important events, it was so amazing and enjoying to watch. And even though they use tech, they never forget their culture.
So good to see my Hmong people in Vietnam on this series - thank you for keeping us all connected during this quarantine. Can't wait to visit in 2022!!
Hmong people have a big heart when comes to special events like this they will cook for the whole village
By God what a beautiful picturesque place!! Nice to see Andrew again.
Great series and love the look into a hmong wedding. You guys are very respectful of other cultures and open to trying new things. Fantastic!
How amazing to have such close family and community, we in the west have missed our heritage and I would love to see it back for everyone. Great content Sonny, may the Iive happily ever after :)

So much work goes in to preparing for these weddings. Truly takes a village!
I feel like it always tastes better when food is made from 'giant ass cauldrons' lol
🤣

this makes me soo proud to be hmoob...its nice to see we still have some similarities...the part where they stop half way to have lunch took me back to when i had my wedding...brought back soo much memories...I did notices that the bride didn't change...i guess thats the part that is different from ours in the U.S...Bride would wear the groom's side of the family's clothes then when she returns from her parents side of the party, she would wear her side of the family's clothes...it gives the bride a mother and daughter moment for the last time that she would help put clothes on her daughter...this clip makes my heart soo happy..thank you sonny
Your friendship dynamic with Andrew is by far one of the best to exist.
Oh man these are the types of videos that got me hooked on the channel.
This is a very modern take on a traditional Hmong wedding. Congrats to the newlyweds!
It's funny😂. How many guys did come to ask you for drink, Sonny?
It's in our culture for man of the groom or bride side to walk around to give everyone drinks at the wedding.
It’s show how asian respect western people.🙏
@@sodolee76 I like it ..
@space crocodile about 100 rounds

So lovely and precious, the H'Mong have a rich and strong culture in Vietnam. so lovely my Vietnamese compatriots.
Sonny & Andrew are the best duos. Their chemistry is amazing. They're so funny.🤣 Ive watched all the Vietnam tour episodes, I'd love to see more. 🤩
Me: reading the recipes as if I can be bothered to actually cook
Nice to see Andrew again~

They were so nice to Andrew and Sonny. The men weren't yelling at them for being so stupid for not know how to chop up a pig and the like.
its crazy how intelligence is measured differently across the world. wheres the need for mathematics and calculus when you have to know how to use every part of a specific animal?
You will Drunk forget the way home with the custom of drinking alcohol of the Vietnamese people.
denmark is here come at me
Nothing brings people together like getting drunk together.

i love these type of videos where you explore other cultures. showing it to the world, making more and more people becoming more open and understanding of other cultures. most conflict happens due to misunderstanding, when everyone understand each other better, it will create a better world. keep up the good work, and hope the pandemic ends as soon as possible so that sonny can explore other countries' cultures too..
I love how the fathers come and drink at the table with Sonny. Its very special welcome
It's crazy, he's on the hmongs now. I love it
Dude, at 18:55 that gastric juice dish is soooo bad that even that local indigenous girl was having a hard time.... 😂😂😂
To be fair, it's more of a drinking dish and mainly men enjoy it. How do I know? Because I am.
Old people really like it. It's like a show of wealth I guess because not everyone can afford to slaughter a cow.
Its an acquired taste that most of the older people like. You will never see that dish being made amongst the younger groups.
It's not bad, younger generation don't like it that much... We also eat that here in Arunachal Pradesh, India..but it's mostly preferred by elders because of its bitter taste... I personally don't like it.....but all the elders love it and you will find in every feast here in our tribe (Tani tribe)

I'm glad you cover the outskirts of Vietnam. So much history and culture there to educate us viewers.
People attending a marriage ceremony, together and happy.
Me: Watching from India😢😓
Sending love from the US

Fucked up world.
Regardless, I hope the Covid situation gets better soon.
stay safe bro, from vn with all good bless for you
I wish we could also have a life like u, people in India are living in fear. So happy to see u guys, that mean we still have a hope
