The house makes the sale, remember I'm coming from California....... 20 miles takes me 2 hours sometimes. I can drive to shopping.......
As long as I am not too far from a Trader joes, some kind of dollar store and a Target I am all good...... I do wish there where Aldi stores in Idaho...

Lay low about how much better the food is in California than Idaho (because Boise is not a foodie town)… nobody wants to hear it lol I moved from San diego, during the plandemic, and very thankful! Yes… 20 mins is becoming “far” haha

Snow. Probs more but nothing too noticeable. The whole valley is roughly the same amount of snow
You forgot to mention the traffic going to and from Middleton. That’s the biggest compliant I’ve heard, is that ‘rush hour’ is no bueno!
