- I came back east for a bit to film the eclipse in the best location possible which was the ozarks, well after that was done I hooked up with jason Harris owner of Ozark Overland Outfitters and we hit a trail together in his troopy and my 4runner (5th gen) And one simple mistake I made ..Well watch the video and youll see what I did.

Most of the rock in the Ozarks is Limestone. That's one of the reasons that water soaks right through the surface and why there are 10,000 caves and springs in the Ozarks. I lived there from 1988 until last June 2023. Great video and I'm not even into off-road stuff.

Thank you, Richie. That was awesome. I really enjoyed that. I used to be a motorcross rider. I've done a lot of Trail riding myself on the power lines in Connecticut. Also, it did a lot in Sand pits. I don't ride bikes anymore. I moved to South Carolina and been thinking about buying a dirt bike. I'm up in my late 60s. Been thinking about it, maybe the trucks the way to go. Thanks again. My youngest son loves 4 runners.. swares by them and has owned a few. He Never put them through stuff like this though. But not because he didn't want to. But because of the financial thing. It can be very expensive and not everybody can afford to punish their machine. My son babied his 4 runners because he loved them. He always wished he had the money to risk it though. Really nice machine Richie. Enjoy. You are blessed.

I think I'm getting older because I see those trails best suited for trail bikes, quads, or something like that, risking such a nice 4X4 in these areas is like gambling to me.. no matter how much experience you have it can get the best of them, but like you say, it is what it is

The 4runner did ok I think, I don't air down much, mainly when I'm on a beach or real sandy stuff. I should've bought a troopy instead of the ute but I thought they would be top heavy. Jason's troopy does alright with open diffs, the problem I have with the 75 is that the front springs are under the diff and wheel ruts are a problem with only 33's
That was BRUTAL!!!! I have an idea for an automatic tire psi adjuster that works off a sensor that connects to your brown eye ! 🍩😆 Your 4Runner is a beauty. Great video
