So if your looking for a wheeling partner, let me know,im retired, got nothing but time on my hands,23 bronco raptor completely equipped to stay out as long as you like.did moab, and colorado so far:)
From my experience of travelling extensively in Himalayas (13000-19000ft), always carry some oxygen. When you have severe headache, that extra oxygen really helps. Also, a lot of people here use Diamox (easily available in India, not sure about US). Last and the most important thing, when in high altitudes, please drink lots and lots and lots of water. All that said, awesome videos. :)
Finally got to pickup my,Gypsy! It took awhile, 10 months to be exact, but it was well worth it. Mike and his Son's craftsmanship is great. A couple of minor electrical problems, but I was able to fix them. I love this camper and look forward to many years making many many memories in it. Well done,Mike!
@@LifestyleOverland it’s a gorgeous area and we are so blessed that everyone says we are in a beautiful area. Long time followers that are so impressed with your family and seeing your adventures. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Awesome video or movie but the very best 2nd to none overland video ive ever seen!!!! No filthy cussing and no satan juice alcohol like most! And videos of the great outdoors and great conversations because of great character to where i wouldnt be worried bout children and ladies to watch and so sadly thats getting hard to find so i truly thank yall for a awesome video! Yall take care and Happy Trails my friends!
Enjoyed this perfect Sunday Night movie. Seemed like a re-run, but wasn't. Beats the normal media. Thanks, enjoyed the outdoors and am looking forward to get out myself.
I watch all of your videos don’t comment very often on any videos from anyone, but I feel the need this time to express. How good a video this was I want to thank you and your fellow off Roader for taking your time and effort to make this video extremely nice to watch. Thanks again.
I love the San Juans. I've been many times. Im glad I could just enjoy the scenery and trails without having to video and give a narrative of the beautiful area it is. I go back every year for Elk Hunting. The work it takes to make a video like this must be very challenging. Great video, sir. Hat's off to you both. I had a 91 toyota 4WD extra cab pick up on 33s. It went anywhere I wanted it too.
I & my parents have come 3x’s in over 20 yrs, I love it so much & hope I can come back one day on my own to hit the trails when I have my own 4x4 vehicle.
I enjoyed watching this adventure in Colorado. The first time I went to Rocky Mountain National Park, at over 8,000 feet, altitude sickness was no joke especially with a pounding headache that refused to go away while in higher elevation. Had to go below 8,000 to rest my head. After a few days I felt fine at over 12K feet elevation.
...Awesome video ... Awesome time on the trails and amazing sights ... New to the channel but looks like I have some viewing time to do over the winter seat time ... Can't thank you enough for the influence of "Leave No Trace" ,, Good to hear your comment of clean sights .... Stay Safe ...
As a High altitude rescue dude, try "Diamox" helps with acclamation, (24/48hrs) it also a diuretic and "will" make you pee, but will help in emergency situations, . . . However going down in elevation, several 1000 ft in altitude helps too . . . Love your adventures Thank you
Watching your Colorado adventure for the second time, I couldn't help but notice the deer so close when you made and were eating the carne asada. I think those deer wanted to try some 😁
I didn’t realize that this was over an hour long. Watching this “movie” makes me really regret selling my 2022 T4R TRD OR-P w/KDSS and 360° camera. I have always wanted to go Overlanding since watching you and Swellrunner build out your 4Runners.
When you watched the whole video, you know it's a good one. Watching you guys having fun makes me want to be out there with y'all on your adventures. That prospector xl is a beast, you should try a full-size and tell us what you think. 👏👍🤙
While I have not been to anywhere close to the amount of places you have been, I 100% agree with you on this area of the country. I try to make this an annual trip. This one one of my favorite videos of yours. Well done.
Epic adventure with a cool friend. The food alone drew me into your adventure, however, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history segments. I regret selling my properties in Pagosa Springs. The San Juan Mountains are incredibly beautiful. Kevin, if you ever take your family to Durango take them on the Silverton Narrow Gauge Train ride. It is a spectacular ride.
N. Carolina is a Beautiful place also, You can climb Mt. Mitchel (By Foot), the tallest mountain on this side of the Mississippi River, you can see 6 states on a clear day. I'v climbed it 2 or 3 times.. Put this on your list. It's Beautiful.
Amazing video! I love the atmosphere you guys created, and the slightly positive spin, with the honesty about the tent. Ouch!, I have the falcon 2, it did fine in the rain, I would be unhappy if it didn’t!
I have end stage heart and lung failure and had to move away from Utah because of the general high altitude. All of the symptoms you described made it impossible for me. I recently returned and stayed in the Grand Canyon campground and nearly died as I didn’t realize the 9000+ altitude. So I can certainly relate to your rough night with altitude sickness
Man do I love watching your video's, all the little things you share even with out words, like moving the leveling rocks when you leave your camp. Or subtle reminders to not feed the critters. I really love how you use the propane grill for night fires and the cooking! I need to find the "rock" as I use lava rocks now, but they have a lot of dust. I am also wondering how you pack it up and what size of propane tank you use, like on this trip? Have to admit I missed the family especially the little one, so cute and beautiful! Again thanks for sharing!
Your videos are always captivating and inspiring to watch, but this one hit it out of the park! After watching your video, Southwest Colorado is now on our next adventure bucket list! Keep up the awesome video content you produce and share!
Love watching your videos! They are absolutely beautiful! I haven’t seen a video yet and if you have I just haven’t seen it yet. But I would be interested in seeing your filming set up! What gear you use, where are the points on the vehicle. How do you get the shots you do? Like a behind the scenes video of these beautiful videos and movies! Thank you! Like in 9:17 did you walk to get that shot or use a drone?
Another great video, mate. Nice bit air with the 4Runner. What gas heater is that? Bloody ripper piece of kit. Are you running 35's on your wagon? You guys are certainly spoilt over there. This area is so spectacular. 🍺🍺
Your gear store is not opening up. I was wondering what you used to film the undercarriage of the vehicle. And what camera equipment/accessories you used. Well done video. Really enjoyed watching it.
Such an amazing set up man. (and haha on the "testing" these companies must live how you put their gear to the test. Looks damn good all put together. Congrats!
Was this filmed recently? I know some of the trails in the San Juan area are still closed due to the excessive snow. We are arriving to Ouray this coming Sunday and can't wait to hit some of the trails.
Hope you enjoy this "movie" format of our Colorado adventure from our last exploration of Southwest Colorado!
I had a déjà vu...... I think I saw this episode before....
Do you get rid of the parts you take off your 4Runner?
So if your looking for a wheeling partner, let me know,im retired, got nothing but time on my hands,23 bronco raptor completely equipped to stay out as long as you like.did moab, and colorado so far:)
This video showcases the universal language of offroading - a love for the great outdoors.

I adored the trailer you were towing by your vehicle; it must be comfortable and enjoyable to sleep in.
What a great episode. Great work my friend and thanks to Jason for being a part of the adventure.
Camping is so much more fun if you share it with a friend.
Absolutely 👍

I liked the movie format of this adventure! It’s makes rewatching these adventure a breeze.
Thanks for that feedback! Seems like lots of our subscribers like this option for rewatching!
I love your videos… it’s always a good adventure thats well worth watching
We just moved to Colorado in castle Rock. Taking the same drive 3x we found another new way to explore. It’s amazing each trip to find new adventures.
Sounds like a great home base!

Thank you for the video. It was very well done!
Great video. Great views . Just awesome

Thanks 👍 Yes, full size is on our radar in the future!
Feeling like I just one of the best reruns 😂. I enjoy videos with the family but you and Jason together…another kind of fun. 🎉
Crazy how I went from loving sleek sexy sports cars & rippin down the highway to just simply wanting to overland and crawl at snail’s pace
i’m right there with you just traded my twin turbo bmw in for a 4runner never thought id see the day

Thank you😎👍
Incredible that the guy at 15:20 was doing that with his bikes on the back. Sometimes I worry about mine on bumpy fire roads 🤦🏾♂
I enjoyed the longer format. Great job!
Eastbound and down…🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵

I am currently camping on the alpine loop, watching this movie, and using starlink.
That's awesome 🤣
Fantastic footage!👌
damn 1.25 hr video, way to go!!!!! loved it!!!!!
Love the video, well done. Landscape and moving vehicle shots are my favorites. I could of gone without the closeup face shots and cooking scenes.
Amazing video! I love the atmosphere you guys created, and the slightly positive spin, with the honesty about the tent. Ouch!, I have the falcon 2, it did fine in the rain, I would be unhappy if it didn’t!
Great video!
We did the Colorado BDR 2 years ago and even staying on one course it was sensory overload. Nice video!
I had purchased an emergency O2 bottle from Walmart. It did help with the head ache.
Added those to our kit after this trip!
Good job on the video!
Pine Beetle has taken it’s toll around Carson. Actually, everywhere around San Juan’s.

Dayum here it started to look like I could take a stick trd pro but some of that clearance was close
This is a repost I saw this same video a few years ago. Not that iam complaining GREAT the 2nd time around 😊👍
Yep, some folks love the longer form videos so we will compile them and reshare for easier watching (no hunting for the next episode).
I was watching one of your old videos on the halo 9 I was just wondering if you ever got the transmission temperature to show on the radio
No, I never did chase that down. Even with the Torque Pro app, it required a special code to retrieve it.

Glad you enjoyed it! Colorado is unreal.
I’ve always gotten headaches in the high country, but it makes my mom sick feeling like the flu, so it affects people differently then another!!
"a little bitta gold, little bitta color, down in the crick!" 🤣

I was wondering if you could elaborate on the unique set up of your frig/freezer in your vehicle?
Slam the water to counteract the altitude sickness. Start hydrating a day before you go up. Drink, drink, drink! Avoid caffeine, it’s a diuretic.
We did this too but then I was up peeing every hour! LOL
@@LifestyleOverland then you drank as much as you could! 👍🏼
Will like too watch how to replace or repair the tent seam seal.
Got a whole new canvas from them so that will be an interesting project
Hey! Awesome video as always. I was wondering if we could get more info on that green chair of yours.
Take a peek at some of the gear we use here: lso.link/amazon 👍 It's in there along with the accessories.
Another great video, mate.
Nice bit air with the 4Runner.
What gas heater is that? Bloody ripper piece of kit.
Are you running 35's on your wagon?
You guys are certainly spoilt over there. This area is so spectacular. 🍺🍺
Looked like someone was wondering what you all were cooking @46:45
Amazing trip to my favorite part of Colorado. What are the round serving trays you’re using as plates? Love the idea for simplicity and longevity

Good good
There are only two Poughkeepsies in the USA and I grew up in one of them.
How did it get the name Poughkeepsie wall?
Such an amazing set up man. (and haha on the "testing" these companies must live how you put their gear to the test. Looks damn good all put together. Congrats!
Are those Mickey Thompson Baja boss m/t ? How are those on the road? I am stuck between those and the Mickey Thompson a/ts
I'm concerned about your link........... that's what she said 😂😂😂😂😂😂. This made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great show perfect looking steak. What type of wheels are those on your truck? The bronze ones? Thanks
Was it that long ago? 2018, when you said, "You don't want articulation" for the turtlebacks?
Beautiful scenery, but watching it is like looking through a magnifying glass, I guess it was film with a GoPro
Really enjoyed this. Went to your hct link but found nothing. Did you change the link? Any suggestions?
Was this filmed recently? I know some of the trails in the San Juan area are still closed due to the excessive snow. We are arriving to Ouray this coming Sunday and can't wait to hit some of the trails.
Check out my pinned comment 😉 Yeah, snow was insane after we left here last fall.
Amazing video! Quick question: where do you stow your propane tank?
Yes colorado can take your breath away in more than 1 way. I live at 10300 ft in colorado if you not use to it bring ya can can of air 31:56
Did they make right on the tent issue?
I want to see a chopped, high top with tent 4runner. Wonder if that's possible?
What front bumper are u runnin?
Did you catch the deer behind Jason at 46:27? Carne asada so good even herbivores have to come check it out!
Beautiful! What equipment have you used for this? such cinematic footage! Belissimo! Salute from Brazil!
Sitting in my 4Runner watching you almost flip off camber scared me. 😅
Me too! 🤣
Just want to say thanks for not bashing hunters in the beginning of the video.
If u ever need some one to go out with in Colorado let me know !!
How many miles on 4Runner thinking about getting one
what drone do you use?
Love the video! Would you mind if I used some clips of it for an Instagram post?
Maybe some of those oxygen cans would help with the altitude 🤙🏻😎
I bought some after this! 🤣
