    knight is given the freddy treatment. and singe larry still feels really hard to play. that lara perk buff is actually pretty crazy. will for sure be abused by high level teams

      Interesting that they do reworks like that, where they're really not better than they were before lol. That Lara buff might not be as crazy as we think, but time will tell. It allows them to stack charges higher for a larger payload.

    Only 3 chests spawn by default, you can use a perk to rummage, so you could get a maximum of 6 tokens, give you get all the chests, and run two perks to make it work. If anyone else runs this build, they would be running two perks to only get 3 tokens of value. So if the entire team ran specialist and appraisal, you can get a maximum of 60 charges (basically 60 seconds of gen time) taking off, which isn't terrible, until you factor in the time it takes to run to a chest, open it, and run to a gen. This perk is as much of if not more of a newb trap than overzealous, especially considering you would have to avoid doing chests until later and avoid hitting greats, if you wanted to save tokens for later, or try to find a specific gen you want to reduce the progress of. With chest offerings, it has potential in a coordinated group, but you are honestly better off running other gen perks and jumping on a gen as soon as the trial starts and keep working on gens, because with how quickly people can go down, especially in solo queue, by the time you find a chest and get your first set of charges, someone is down or on hook, and now someone has to go save, and someone else is in chase or will be soon. I don't see this perk becoming meta, because lithe can extend a chase anywhere form 6 seconds to 30+ depending on how well you can loop, which you can take that value and multiply it by 3 to factor in how much more gen progress is being done by those not in chase. There are just way better options.

      The more I think about Specialist, the less I think it's about overall faster gens, but more about a way to push through that final gen. Especially in scenarios where its a "three-gen", and the killer can just quickly rotate between them and take short chases. As you complete each gen, you could open and rummage through a chest and stack up these tokens. You're likely to have at least 3 tokens by the 4th gen done, if your team is able to get to that point. So yeah while there are absolutely better options, it just seems like an interesting alternative. New perks like this just get the mind wandering. I'll be jumping into the new patch tonight and I'll see if it ends up in my games.

    I counted 100 bugs singaluirty great but over buffed knight is murdered lara perks are decent

      I've heard about the bugs, wonder what they're doing behind the scenes. I'm curious to see how singularity is, he needed some help. Knight I'm not sure, seems like a mixed bag, and Lara might have some seriously strong perks.

      Everything has potential. A lot of newer perks needs others to make them make sense. Think about Streetwise, that perk is terrible unless you get a serious build lined up.

    It's Lara Croft, not Laura Croft.
    Not screaming is literally only good against Doctor and requires too much setup.
    The max gen perk requires too much setup too - who has time to be opening SIX chests instead of just doing gens?

      My bad on the name haha. It's not so much about being quiet that's good for setup, but the aura you can get too. Specialist and Hardened are definitely not meta, but more like coin-toss perks. You'll get good value or basically no value

    Guards sharing CD means he's a dead killer now. That was the only positive from ptb and it's gone yet people questioned the power of laras Gen Rush perk and they double it. I'm just going full survivor BHVR is going in a direction where you have to want to lose to play killer

      Oh wait, so does that mean no guards can be spawned at all until a long cooldown is over? That sucks, but maybe they weren't sure whether or not to do that at first. The gen perk is a bit scary, we'll see how it plays out.

      ​@pogesquegaming yea gotta wait the whole duration after using a guard before you can bring out the next and if a survivor knows how to loop a guard they will never get a hit
      And her gen perk is broken ppl have been able to "instant complete" whole gens with her ability's but it glitches out and dont work if you dont leave a small amount of gen left to do but it is possible to auto complete gens with this ability

      @@maxdragonslayer You do realize that only 3 chests spawn in a match right? You have to bring a lot of coins to spawn more chests and run two perks on every survivor, to even get max charges on all survivors. If you load 4 people into a game with specialist and appraisal, you can get a max of 60 charges, and a single gen is 90. You would need 4 shiny coins, and even then, you would be 1 chest short from everyone being able to get max tokens. So it ends up being one gen worth of progress, that you spend time running around looking for said chests, plus using appraisal, plus dropping and picking up items so you can even use appraisal tokens. By the time you factor in all of that, you will have spent more than 90 seconds per character, to take 90 seconds off of gens... You could just sit on a gen and get better value while perk less.

      @maxdragonslayer That's rough for knight, seems like he almost got away with a good rework until that happened.
      @xIronwafflexx I think for the rummaging and gathering of tokens, its more about how the survivors can complete gens in a shorter time doing the repairs since their charges are lower. So yes one survivor can only get 3 tokens in a normal game with two perks, they can also bring BNP and Weaving spiders to maximize the effect. A survivor with this combo can reduce the time it takes to do a gen by up to 32 seconds, or ~35.5%. Does this take a lot of work and is very risky? Yeah. But they could save this gen for last and knock it out WAY sooner than a killer might expect.
      I say all this just to highlight to potential it could have. I'm all for new playstyles and different game ideas, but I'm just not sure about reducing max gen time. It affects perks and game elements way more than people realize. Gen kick perks are typically a percentage of the max health, meaning if the max health goes down, so does the value of the perks. Just something to think about.

      @@PogesqueGaming I stopped reading at weaving spiders. Not only does weaving take way too long, you also become broken for the rest of the game, which limits how long you can run a killer for, effectively impacting the amount of time people can spend on gens before having to go for a save. Also, any killer with a brain that doesn't see a survivor for a while, is checking basement. Also, don't forget that aura reading perks exist and killer instinct, there are so many ways for you to get found before completing weaving. These takes sound like they are from people with little to no actual understanding of how time efficiency works, they just see numbers and think "that looks like a lot". People said the same thing you are saying about this Laura perk that they did about the Gabriel toolbox perk, and guess what? That perk did not become meta nor did the combo that people were claiming was op. The only actual strong gen perks, are hyper focus (if you can hit greats all the time), stakeout if you have trouble with greats while using HF, deja vu, and maybe built to last. They offer really good value without ever having to run around the map doing chests, totems etc.

    This guy is so out of touch. Oh no multiple survivors brought in the perk "specialist"!!! This definitely wont cause survivors to compete as they attempt to search for the limited number of chests on the map instead of doing generators! Seriously bro you need to not be such an alarmist. Even in a. Optimal situation where all 4 survivors have the specialist perk and they are all running appraisal while all using shiny coins the max number of tokens they get out of this is 22 which means that they could knock out a total of 88 charges combined. That sounds like a lot but then if you consider the time spent searching for the chests which cant be calculated plus the10 seconds required when opening the 11 chests and the additional time to rummage thru the chests again to get the additonal token per chest then more time was invested off gens just to knock time off one potentially difficult gen or divided between multiple gens. It can certainly break up a 3 gen situation but it wont break the game. To even get the most out of it the team of survivors would either need to give up perk slots and forgo more useful perks or one survivor will have to waste time just to power it up.

      They literally doubled the max amount of tokens with no testing, lol. I'd be saying the same thing if they did that to Undone. Are you likely to even get max stacks on either perk? Probably not, so why did they even do it? It's an alarm because they didn't make a decision that was either sound or impactful. I said the same thing about doubling the banner spawn timer on Knight if you draw a path further than 26 meters. Why wasn't this in the PTB? I understand they made him feel worse now with all guards sharing one CD, but if they are doing changes like these on live, do they even need a test environment? Just some things to think about.

      @pogesquegaming These devs have knee-jerk reactions to most complaints in the game, and many of them didn't make sense. Did the hatch need a rework? Probably. Should it have been nerfed into oblivion? No. But when people cry enough over nonsense these devs will change things that aren't broken and break them if needed. The Perk Buckle Up was always trash, they made Buckle Up viable and it could even be combo'd with FTP for some cool plays which required a lot of factors to line up for it to work out but people cried so they nerfed it and made it completely worthless again. Was that tested? Do they even check to see if these complaints that guide them to change perks are warranted? I doubt it.
