Mozart, a genius way ahead of his time, a talent that would outshine his contemporaries if he were alive today.
He outshone his contemporaries when he was alive.
If Mozart came to his prime today, my fear is that he would be a TikToker or something equally watered down and depressing. He'd probably play hard into his scatological fetish and have really well scored 30 sec videos of him throwing poop at a wall or something.
On the plus side he'd have probably done a collab with Joji back during the Filthy Frank era. God, but I can only dream.

What enchanting aria. First time a heard this was in the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" ruclips.net/video/p8STa0EoUwI/видео.html where the leading actor (Tim Robbins) made the other inmates listen to it. Anyone who has seen this scene and is not moved even a little, has a garbage bag instead of an heart...
Mozart, chess and dogs are the best.
I have to emphasise, not at the same time. I tried to bring my dog to the opera house, she was not welcome...
I found this, albeit laudable overall , a little rushed & 'jumpy' - so I slowed it down to 0.9 speed & BOOM! Raised it to the next level! Closer to what is the pinnacle, unsurpassed benchmark performance this aria by Kiri Te Kanawa & Mirella Freni , in the film version of Figaro. 👏
The film version is painfully slow 😭😭
