This is unofficial Damned clip. Including various GPL photos and parts video of Damned, Stranglers, Cure, and Bauhaus. I made this from Linux with software: PiTivi, Kino, Avidemux.
Veramente interessante questo video che mostra nella prima parte foto suggestive, tipicamente dark e nella seconda immagini di 2 gruppi storici come Damned e Stranglers...
When the (officially) first punk band (by the single New Rose) happens to make this kind of gem...well...they're just not a punk band...I love the Damned...and this album particularly...althought my musical tastes are usually more amongst progressive rock....
Tiz amazing how such a culturally decadent, in your face (and all over your shoes) bunch of foul mouth Gits could write such a brilliant piece of music... wasn't a fluke either when you consider 'Sanctum Santorum' and 'The Portrait'. But I am glad they did... I love this motley group :-)
8909 views while Gangnam Style hits a trillion...ah reality. Thank you for posting and reminding me of one of the most beautiful instrumentals of the 80s. Agreed this sounds more like Saudade from Love and Rockets first disc than The Cure. But Seventeen Seconds is formidable, a great disc and they created a lot of good music after that. Like Ultravox, whose (first 2 discs masterpieces) but changed after John Foxx left, they no longer had their punk edge as when Captain Sensible left the band.
I also have loved this instrumental for 30 years plus. It has stood the test of time as I was 16 when I first heard it. Go Dave et al. X
a brill song to listen to on a stormy nite in the car
Rest in peace, Bryn Merrick; thanks for the music. xxx

23 years since I heard it and it's still brilliant.

@mlukas it's one of those albums where every song has something to offer.
the cure ruins nothing!

The Damned, not the Cure!
Just watched the remainder. Song by The Damned,
❤
@getaefuk Lol! Remember the early days of Channel 4?
No advertising, just " Brookside follows shortly " ?
😱🤘🖤
❤😂
Never been a huge fan of instrumentals. Though bands that have there own sound like the Smiths, Depeche Mode and The Damned can get away with one 😝
I wonder who wrote the music to this Roman?
If this ain't brilliant, then what is ?
+It's a Beautiful Day Yeah it's classic 80s in every sense. Thinking about it today. I've uploaded Seagulls from pre Black Album.
This is not, not brilliant
@@fuckweedMegafayce You are entitled to your opinion, which is nothing : )
Kelly14UK did you understand the comment?
@@fuckweedMegafayce Hmm, i was thinking about it just before i texted. Sounded like an emphasized negative.
