Thank you for posting and reminding me of one of the most beautiful instrumentals of the 80s. Agreed this sounds more like Saudade from Love and Rockets first disc than The Cure. But Seventeen Seconds is formidable, a great disc and they created a lot of good music after that. Like Ultravox, whose (first 2 discs masterpieces) but changed after John Foxx left, they no longer had their punk edge as when Captain Sensible left the band.
