considerations for buying a 4g 5g antenna

If you are thinking of buying a 4G or 5G antenna to boost your 4G or 5G router signal and download speeds then you should first consider these points.
Our 4G and 5G antennas are not booster antennas. They are designed to be located where you have a better 4G or 5G signal compared to the location of your 4G or 5G router.
Many sites such as Amazon or ebay sell antennas as booster antennas with claims to boost your download speed by 100, 200 or even as much as 300%. In reality these antennas usually have a similar gain to the antennas built into your router, but now the signal needs to travel down 5m or longer of cable and this results in signal loss so if you have the same signal strength where your router is located compared to the location of the antenna then you may experience a poorer signal strength due to signal loss.
