The biggest factor for me: Are we getting actual content (maps, missions, etc) or are we getting stories and lore (like the descent audio clips)?!? Honestly, I want solid playable content. We spent so little time in Brooklyn as an intro map, that there should be plenty of content to explore. It would make sense to include Div1 lore regarding "the first wave" and how things broke down so quickly. Naturally that would set the stage for Div3. If done; right it could set a solid foundation for Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City as possible DLC and Div1 lore is already linked to Ann Arbor. Now we just need UbiSoft to fend off the predators from China and get back on solid financial standing.
Ubisoft are every bit as predatory, personally I don't care who gets to take the game forward, only that it does go forward, I loved The Division even though it took then a good long while to get it right, same with The Division 2, though I was less forgiving of paying £90+ for the Ultimate edition only to realise I was paying to be a beta tester for the better part of two years, Ubisoft can die in a fire for all I care, what's important is that Massive, whoever the publisher might be, get the time they need to build on the success of the franchise with The Division 3 not just getting enough of it working to push it out the door to keep stakeholders and shareholders happy, sooner or later they will realise that it's doing more harm then good.
I can wait a few days and see how all this plays out before I decide how much it's worth! I'm a day one player and honestly who knows what we're going to get or how it structured. Thanks for sharing my comment, love the content keep it up brother!
Me too I'll most likely wait for a few days to see the top dogs of the community to lay out the DLC as it truly is... Bugs, content, pricing, value for money and all... Its most likely that I will end up buying it, (even if it isnt a good deal) but I'll try and express my displeasure in the only way I can... By waiting a couple of months... But if by some blessing it turns out that its very good, and the devs are putting in some real effort into it, then I'll be singing their praise on every platform I can find...
I sure hope we don't have to pay anything, especially when the servers have us buttcheek to buttcheek. I would expect a lot. Don't make Brooklyn like Coney Island or the Pentagon. It would be badass to see the game transition us back to D1... Right back to Camp Clinton.
At this point, just throw the new DLC out. I play only this game so yes...I want the DLC. I will stop watching Netflix, Amazon and use that money to pay for the DLC.
For me, the value of any DLC is highly dependent on how much content there is. How many new missions, how big the new map will be, how much story content is there, etc. Also depends on what plans they have going forward. Will they expand the map even more later on, give us more new content, or are we gonna have to wait another 3-5 years for an "expansion"?
The Division 2 shouold really have brought back the winter, snow and snowstorms from Divison 1, felt like The Division lost at least half of its feeling without the snow effects that it had in Divison 1, it just brought something really good to the game in my opinion. I've played The Divison 2 alot, enjoyed it for the most part, BUT, there were several things that I just felt were a lot more appealing in Divison 1, the survival mode which was just truly amazing, especially due to the snow, and well, the snow effect itself, and the underground mode was amazing. Playing The Divison 2 after a while just made me miss The DIvison 1 and wanted to go back to play that more, than to play The Divison 2.
I still have a bad taste in my mouth after the last season and the modifiers; it kind of turned me off the whole game. Not sure if I will go back tbh, lots of new games like POE2, TFD, etc.
I thought they mentioned earlier it was going to be a free dlc since it is supposed to be significantly smaller than WONY. $40 ?????? No way any but a few but that. I get it it's an investment in your channel. But anything over $20 is a no go and even then I may still wait.
Having played this game from alpha stage, and before that D1, I am excited to see a continuation of the story lore but, a big but, if they are to charge for this it needs to be reasonably priced in the lower price range. Not only because it has been too long between dlcs, not only because it has lost so many players since that last dlc but also for the fact that NO dlc content should match the original price of the original base game unless it has the content to match. At the end of the day a dlc for any game is just extra added playable content and not a whole game in itself. I agree that the Devs deserve some support because at the end of it, through all its flaws they brought us a great franchise game but they don't need to be greedy because of that
I dont mind spending £35, for exactly the same reason you've mentioned, its good to support the development. My main worry is whether Ubi are gonna go under and their only online IPs are just going to get turned off with no notice.
It makes me wonder was everything Keener did from Division 1, kidnapping the scientist to make the Eclipse Virus, culminating into almost using a missile full of it, all of that planning through 2 games for nothing if he came back from the dead? Or did it only allow the people who he wanted to move based on his actions to move exactly how he wanted? Ngl I was a bit shocked and disappointed when I saw him again WITH Theo lol. So now we have him detained at the White House because what they were trying to do with him was pulled back from the whole seasonal character debacle hence the 4 extra watches we got from that crazy but slightly fun mission at the bunker. I'm guessing they need a slightly new narrative to mesh in what they wanted in the first place to make things cohesive.
They make money, we get more Division. They make no money, we lose the Division. I try and buy in the shop when I can to support the Devs. It’s a fantastic game.
The sentiment isn't bad at all mate... But it's thus sentiment that the game builders are abusing rn... They take a baseline of how much players will make purchases in the game, and just take it for granted, regardless of how poorly built the purchased items are... Finally Ubisoft is getting the backlash they avoided for so long... I don't mean to completely bash the company, but at least they might stop in their tracks, and try and churn out good games and content, rather than sticking to a schedule, and just throwing stuff out cuz they promised to... A certain blow is necessary to jolt the management into action, I hope u get what I mean...
One thing i would love to know is more on April Kelleher from the first division book she appears in the other books to the last one she went to a lab in Michigan they say after that a division agent called Aurelio Diaz convinced her to go to Washington, D.C. and inform the JTF about Black Tusk also asks her to check on 2 kids i think are his. So she went to Washington and saved the 2 kids and others from the castle settlement when it was gassed she dosent end up warning about black tusk as we know but that's it nothing els after. I found that info out looking it up i want more on her she is known as the most recurring character in division would love to actually see her in game alive if not the dlc maybe division 3 if we get one i have book 1 and 2 not fully read them. With the game been playing it on and off depending on how fast i get bored only thing i dont really get bored of is walking around and looking at things around the city.
I've had this gut feeling for quite a while now that we aren't getting a DLC. When they merged the servers a few months back that made me REALLY believe it. Why would they merge servers knowing that a DLC would likely bring back a ton of players? I hope I'm wrong but I guess we'll see.
I bought the Division 2 when it was $2 on Ps4 Pro. The WONY DLC as someone who has lived in NYC my whole life got me hooked. I'll definitely buy this. Thanks as always for the content!
@simonnoton8395 I am close to getting the Platinum. I play that game every year, especially close to Christmas. I wish we could get a Ps5 Pro upgrade . It still suffers from texture pop in. However, it is definitely one of my favorite games, and next year, being the 10th anniversary is crazy.
It won't be. That's absolutely insane. Warlords of new york was the last DLC, and it was about 20$. It'll probably be the same price, no more than 30$ worst case scenario
$30... BUT, there should absolutely be another big free update that adds the following: -Autofire to pistols (just like they did for rifles and MMRs) -Scopes for pistols (4-6X, we don't need every YTer shoving a "BIS Focus Pistol build" down our throats, just something to make aiming a bit better) -Melee DMG = 200% of current single bullet DMG, and scales with weapon handling (it's WAY past time to fix this one, and this will make it both calculable and effective with current gear) -Melee DMG weapon mods (affix bayonets anyone? ....come on, you know you want to) -Add Weapon Handling gear mods back into the game (10% Max) -Make all Exotic Gear reconfigurable (ie when rerolled it can attain different attributes, maybe even a new main core if you really want to be gracious) -Fix/redo all the busted exotics (Rugged Gauntlets, Acostas Kneepads, Shocker Punch, Sacrum, Overlord - absolutely no one will complain about any of these changing; even a meager 10-20% improvement will cause rejoicing) Make this happen devs. Cheers!
That said, if Massive doesn't want to completely blow this DLC opportunity, then here's the bare minimum guidelines: 1) Do NOT include busted exotics. If they don't deliver on some premise that changes or adds to how people play DPS, Tank or Skill builds.... then just delete them from the package. It doesn't have be "META changing", but they at the very least should not show up DOA. (And keep this in mind, it's absolutely OK to send something to the table that's possibly overpowered and then dial it back later on... lord knows it's not like the game hasn't been broken in every other way, letting players do it with their own effort is simply a fair trade.) 2) Do NOT make the content overly PVP-centric. Adding an additional PVP element is fine, but Division is not, and has never been, a PVP dominant title. Do NOT try to change that, or think that in some way you will recover some mystical lost player base from the closing down XDefiant servers. Just. Don't. 3) Do NOT lock anything behind a multi-player, group-up raid style mission.... UNLESS, you are going to give said missions scalable difficulty (at which point you can also scale the rolls to any said "rewards", but not their drop-rates).
Level 50 would give a lot of people something to grind for and with that is replayability, sure some players don’t want what would effectively be a gear refresh but I’d prefer that than just a new gearset. A new raid would be nice too. Destiny 2 has brought out i think 7 since iron horse came out
@ If they raise the cap to Lvl 50, and essentially make all current gear obsolete (weak by comparison) at lvl 41, then that will be a huge soul crushing moment for everyone who's worked their tail off to put extra shd levels on those pieces and then has to go find and "relevel" new ones. For a six year old title that's hanging in the balance, everyone, literally everyone, will have to consider the time that would take (essentially starting over from scratch) vs putting that time into a brand new title that is less than a year old and has more potential to be around for the next 2-3 years.
So this is coming from a alpha and beta tester of both games. I want them to give this dlc more hope to the series. Because of the lack of support,Understanding and time people have put in this game is so under looked from there end is massive and the fact the have the chance to do things right and bring people back to a game that not only had great lore but creativity as far as what you wanted to make your build is needed like to me they should release this dlc free based on your game level so if you had the basic tier of the game the upgrade should be 20 if you had the premium or deluxe it should be free and if you own both games div 1 and div 2 you should get it for free cause that means you are a ture fan of the series and wants the game to make it to a division 3 and also going into the dlc reward the players that have more than 1000hrs in the game a free CHOICE Exotic of there own choice not a box but a exotic they can actually choose for being a dedicated division player.
All I know is divisions graphics engine is called SNOWDROP! Enough time has gone by now in the story that it should be SNOWING again. I WANT SNOW MASSIVE.
I'm looking forward to The Division 2 DLC ,i reckon 20-30 uk pounds price wise ,a new DZ would be good or even new survival in Brooklyn would be brilliant ,but we'll have to wait and see ....
I'll be entirely honest, I played the hell out of this game during 2020/2021 and took a break for a few years. Have been recently getting back into it, the story has never been why I played the game. I just enjoyed the build crafting and the gameplay of it. The writing has always been laughably bad. I'd definitely like some different missions and areas to explore but I'd be more interested in having a loot refresh and an overhaul on the build crafting to freshen things up again like when Warlords came out. All in all I'm willing to pay whatever though if it gives more content to grind at. People have a skewed perspective when it comes to cost with video games. I'd bet if people who are saying the expansion should be free or less than 20$ looked at their time played. That they've spent literal hundreds of hours in the game. What else can you do that is that cheap for fun in this day and age? A cup of coffee costs 5$ and is finished in one sitting. I'll buy ten cups of coffee to spend another hundred hours playing a game I like.
id buy it at launch IF it included an option to change the color of the apparel, and exotic pieces and the ability to change the look of said exotics to what one has in thier armor skin selection AND if they gave more exotic components
Ok, so I been locked in to this franchise since I saw that first AMAZING E3 trailer for D1 many moons ago and overall, the game delivered on it's promises. Visually it's beautiful, the snowdrop engine wows on the pc! I have to say after playing thousands of hours with friends in coop, mainly PvE, i stopped playing but always keep an eye on the community and I am waiting for this DLC...IF it's to the quality of D1, D2 & Warlords, I will HAPPILY pay for the DLC content! Take my money NOW!!! , I do this to support the franchise...
I want more than a new area. The WONY expansion brought new Specialisations, new Skills, 10 additional levels, Summit and an overhaul for most of the game. That was worth the money. Unless the expansion has something significant to offer apart from Brooklyn, I may go on a small hiatus until there is a 50%-75% price drop. I will pay what I consider it to be worth. Ubisoft forced me to treat them like this.
I would Spend $50 that said I will wait at least 1 week before I get it no matter what the cost. It is a very common thing across the board anymore that every live service game launches with issues. I'm no developer but there must something these companies just can't plan for until the servers go live. Looking forward to going into Brooklyn though for sure!
The hardcore players will get thru the content pretty fast and show the rest of the community if it's worth it or not, and we can be certain there will be game breaking bugs, so there's no point jumping the gun. As for game pricing, then they should give it for free, but... launch a campaign so new players can buy the game + all DLC - and change Shepherd mode for the following 1-2 months, so players who owned the game before the new launch can earn currency for the UbiStore for outfits, season pass etc. That way old players get a reward for their dedication and new players will get a good introduction to the game community, and in that process having a greater success of refreshing the player base.
They need to put at least $30 worth of content in the new dlc but sell it for $15. A lot of us already showed we're willing to pay $15 and once we realize we got twice as much as what we paid for, we'd generate so much hype that we'd not only convince other div 2 players to purchase the new dlc but perhaps even convince non division players to buy the base game and all it's dlc. I feel like this could be an easy win for Ubisoft, as long as it's done correctly.
I`d pay $20 for a decent amount of content.. I just wish they did something to combine Div 1 & 2 and let players experience a remastered version of Div 1 within the 2nd game. The Missions, dark zone and the Incursions of Div 1 would be great to revisit and can easily add more back story instead of "Bringing back the dead".
I believe the price for the DLC will be $30, but I'm sure they'll be pushing a ton of cosmetics/skins that we be as pricy if not more pricy than what they already are.....
I just want content (like a new map) and want to find out what happened to the JTF in Brooklyn after we did the tutorial in The Division. I’ll wait till I see reviews from other players and get more info before I buy the DLC.
I realized something recently. I felt like the creative team was just throwing things from the hip and randomly throwing things together from season to season… but replaying the warlords of New York proves they were planning for the Brooklyn dlc to bring Keener and Theo back to life the ENTIRE time. In the tombs mission Theo experiments in real time to see if his strategy to fool isac would work. Then he actually used his strategy to fake his and keener’s death! What if the entire Rogue network from every season is alive and well, waiting in Brooklyn!!! It makes sense if they were using Claire’s simulator in conjunction with Theo’s tech and wit against us. If so, we were freeing Keener’s agents from Cal, Nat, and the Cabal’s surveillance by providing false kill confirmations without knowing. Too much went into the character development to just throw them all away, many were pretty fascinating. I also learned from a tombs mission collectible Theo knows the name of his Father’s killer so I imagine we will meet him or her sooner or later. Glad to see you back to dropping div2 content Tux 🎉
If they bring in new Hunters, I hope they aren't time dependent. It was a pain doing the last group of Hunters in NY. A full CoD Easter Egg with specific in-game times to spawn 4 Hunters and have to do the whole thing again if you die.
I bought Division 2 when WONY came out... and I got my money's worth... even bought Division 1 later because I liked both games. Was incredibly surreal to play this during the Covid lock down... That being said, something (could have been my computer, could have been something else) would cause the game to lock up solid after ~ an hour of play time for over a year... (was the only game that would do that)... I'd assumed that Ubisoft was on the path to killing the game... and then it seemed to be on life support for the last year or two... and suddenly it's no longer crashing on me. I can't say that i play it as much now as I used to, but I'm interested in a new DLC... we'll have to see how it looks when it comes out.
I'm a ride or die since day 1 but definitely on a budget so this year I just told some people to get me PlayStation gift cards to put in the game. I put $125 into the game this Christmas for some attire bundles & outfit parts I didn't have. Now this sounds like a lot but I never did buy the season 1 pass or deluxe pack with the skill skins so this money went into that as well. With that said I'd be willing to pay a $20-$30 price for this DLC out of my pocket cause I enjoy the game so much as it is.
I don't mind paying for content because I want the game to succeed. As Tux said, I pay to incentivize the devs and support the game. The Division 2 has been the greatest game for me and I've been gaming since before the Atari 2600. So let's go to Crooklyn (not a typo)!!
The only two other games that I have played and love as much as div 2. Was diablo 2 and BF1 on PC. I think I have 3600 hours put into the div2 thus far
we need way more new missions , we doing the same missions for to many years by now ! new game modes just live division 1 is a must at this point to...
It's a co-op shooter looter. I would suggest trying to squad up. You can get everything solo with the exception of two weapons. What platform do you play on? If it's ps, I am happy to help you.
I have so much time invested in this franchise that i will no doubt be getting the DLC when it drops regardless of price. I am guessing it will be on the same price point as warlords at $39.99. But i am also predicting that it will be smaller in scale. I don't mind smaller as long as the missions are well done and the replayability is there. TBH i liked WONY but i felt the missions dragged on to long. I am hopeful that there is a good mix. long missions are fine but give us a mission or two that are like Lincoln Memorial. Also I don't get people who think we should just be given everything for free. I'm not necessarily defending Ubisoft here but they are a business and businesses are there to make money. If you don't want to spend the $$ for the DLC then that's your decision and i'm sure you will have your reason.
I’m wondering if Dragov, Kajika, and Conley are still alive and whether or not they are allies now. As long as Brooklyn is as big as WONY, I’m up for it. I’d probably buy it anyways but it would just suck for it to be trash.
Conley is definitely not alive. She blew herself up with grenades when you beat her on the tanker. Dragov and Kajika probably aren't alive either due to a lack of any evidence to support such. Keener probably didn't care enough about them for them to be important to his current plan except theo and the Sheriff (us the player)
You can't just ask what we would pay for something we have no idea how big or small it is. Obviously that is a BIG factor into that question so you seriously can't read much into the answer they gave because they don't even know anything about the dlc just yet except the small info we have of it.
Tux- My vote is you go on Division staff as liaison delivering better communication and helping this game thrive. The seasonal updates for Division 2 are very drab and seem very unpolished. I’ve never played a game as much as this one and align to what you stated for longevity of this game. We just need someone they will listen to and demonstrate that they are connected to us. What better way than taking on staff someone that dedicates their time to critiquing in an optimistic way.
When’s this dlc launching? Do we know, cause I have the entire collection the ultimate version which granted me all current dlc for free so I hope my “expansion pass” allows those holders this dlc free, I also hope this upcoming dlc brings more access to raid/dz exclusive weapons, and new exotic weapons also
DLC, if ubisoft wants players back then they should consider the price tag. Decent price equals more players back, but higher price won't bring them back. If I'm going to pay higher price then that DLC better be the size of DC map
Honestly, I'm asking. Are they limited with staff? The reason is why can't they just open more city blocks in Washington DC with new factions. Then have players pay to access 2 DZs with only Rouges, Hunters, and have each with a Legendary level style Boss.
A hybrid pricing model is not something I can agree with if it limits features available to the players. If it’s just cosmetics then that’s fine. Otherwise, they would split an already diminishing and splintered player base resulting from the most recent direction with seasons 2.0
Has it been silently killed? Nothing on their web site or the store in the launcher. Only some articles months ago referencing some statements from someone in product.
The DLC price should be what the original price of WONY DLC was. what's is going to be in the Brooklyn DLC & its intirety of all the content for the upcoming DLC. As you stated different types of content per each version of The Brooklyn DLC. The one thing that I don't want to see is items 😕 being part of the paid DLC. I can't count how many times I had to tell player's. How they could get their hands-on the Momento backpack and to find out they have to buy the DLC for ithem was a kick right in the jewels, among the rest of the items we got from WONY DLC. if so at least let the community know it is in the general loot pool.
If this dlc is dropping around the same time as a huge franchise that basically hits heavy on finances and also to include that if AC doesn’t do well then the company is also sold off to someone else I doubt dlc for division is gonna drop then it’s gonna be delayed and if the other company buys we might wanna look at it not happening bc they might not choose these franchises
It's okay to be a little critical. My question.....who is doing it better? Bungie with Destiny 2....think not. EA with Anthem?....bah hahahaha. Who?? Ubisoft is doing it better than anyone other publisher. I'll buy the new DLC day one. The Division has saved me money and I have no problem supporting a game that I have recorded some 600hrs of gameplay/ sleeping
Black Tusk fighting LMB for Brooklyn! That being said, I’ll pay for DLC, hoping it’s worth it. I love the lore, I want more skills, not just variants, give me some story, skills, one or two new game types. For example Survival needs a comeback. Another massive Dark Zone. I’d pay up to $60 IF there’s enough content
For as long as it's taken to get this DLC out, it BETTER be worth it. I sure hope it's bigger than Warlords, more missions than Warlords, some new hunter quests, and it better have replayability. Personally, i think Warlords sucks. Hated all the missions. Probably be disappointed, but I'm hoping this DLC is fire for how long they've been "working" on it.
I love the Division franchise and think it has so much potential. Sadly, division 2 has had so many issues with bugs and things being broken with several of the updates. I haven't played it in more than six months. I am going to sit this DLC out and wait to hear how well or not it goes. I've been playing The first Descendant and I'm really enjoying it. At the moment it could use new content but at least the Devs listen to player concerns & have made many improvements. Ubisoft has made it pretty clear The division players don't mean much to them so I can't support the division in it's current state.
I think that Division 2 has exhausted its story. Bringing the dead back cheapens the experience. Ubisoft should lean into the amazing open world they created. Introduce new factions and a Survival-like game mode. I can't say how much I'd pay for a DLC until I know more about the DLC.
They should make the game affordable because some of us. It has spent a lot of money on a game, so yeah, the brooklyn dlc should be a leaf twenty five dollars
I dont think charging 50% of the base game price is reasonable for a DLC unless it brings a significant amount of content to back that up. I think $20 to $30 max would be fair for a normal DLC.
They have Employees to pay that are making the DLC and keeping up on the game. The last 3 seasons have been great overall. Vto think it will be free, or EXPECT it to be free is Insane.
I want distance based modifiers removed, or at least make seasonal progression not tied to it at all, but can be sped up with it for those who like the distance modifiers. As for the new DLC, I don't mind it being smaller than WONY, but whatever is being developed, it better be something new or a meaningful expansion on the existing modes with proper rewards. And for the love of all things Division, give us some actually good exotics and gear sets this time with the DLC, since the last 3-4 seasons have been 95% garbage. EDIT: I've more or less quit the game since I found out distance based modifiers, that's why I mentioned it first.
20$ is my limit on any DLC..EVER!! Guess I'll be waiting until Holiday sales.. no biggie (Div 2 is just my relaxer game.. play it to chill and blow mobs apart)
Most people spend more money on a single doordash order from tacobell than they are willing to pay for digital content that takes thousands of hours to create and maintain. Eggs cost like 6-7 a carton. 30 dollars is essentially nil these days. People have insane expectations for game companies but want it all for free.
At this point with all the delays and silence from the devs players probably have low expectations. If they really want to surprise players and have them spend the money add silver creek to the Brooklyn dlc
My guess it will cost about $29.99 plus tax in West Virginia it's about $2.10 in sales tax . Which would be $32.09 in total for Me or unless you bought the season game pass they (Ubisoft) might or might not let us have it for free.
I'm very sceptical. I was all for WLONY, the game was still popular, they had a full development team working on it. But now 5yrs down the line, with a dwindling development team and Ubisoft being in so much mess, I worry. How good with this actually be considering all of that?? I'm gunna wait and see.
Couldn't be less interested in the cinematic crap if I tried. Gameplay/maps/factions - this is what I care about. Stuff we do all the time, not just watching movies.
I'm not going to get hyped for it bc it took them 5 years finally come up with something, and with the company about to be sold. Is it really worth it and spending money on this game/content?
Agreed
I think we are getting pay wall dlc instead of 10% crit the cap will be 15 and gear level will get to lv 50
It's defined as a "story DLC".
It will be some dumb audio recordings and backpack trinket.
Survival 2.0, Underground, new darkzone.. Yes please! I would be all in tho have whole division 1 ported over.
Darkzone is gonna be shit - there's way too many hacking in this game pvp.
@@semikolondev I disagree. There are hackers yes but very few compared to other games.
#WinterIsComing 😂😂😂
Survival 2.0… yes please
Not going to happen. Give it up already.
At this point, just throw the new DLC out. I play only this game so yes...I want the DLC. I will stop watching Netflix, Amazon and use that money to pay for the DLC.
Just cancelled Netflix yesterday, hmmm
Hell yeah, only game I play now too!
Agree only game been playing since September last year just brought New York and season pack
Hell yeah I am already collecting cans lol
Same here the only game I play
Playing The Divison 2 after a while just made me miss The DIvison 1 and wanted to go back to play that more, than to play The Divison 2.
i don’t think they know how
I live in the south where it hardly snows; so not seeing snow in a game centered around Christmas is normal for me. 😅
I was still playing div 1 over 2 as 2 is pretty bad .. but 1 won't load sits in loading over and over
@@reapersasmr5483 It's pretty bad for you. For me, it's pretty good 👍
@MrMJmusicLover hey that's all that matters I have 216 days in div 1 vs 90 days in div 2 ... thats how much better 1 was for me
I still have a bad taste in my mouth after the last season and the modifiers; it kind of turned me off the whole game. Not sure if I will go back tbh, lots of new games like POE2, TFD, etc.
^^^ THIS ^^^^
I really love the modifiers, it gives goed buff , it was really annoying the first weeks but now I'm used to it... try to give it one more chance...
TFD might turn into something. Right now I just level my ultimate and wait for the next release
@ I don't need "modifiers"....I cruise thru on the Heroic level.....
I hated the modifiers at first but learning how to use them for the season journey made me realise how powerful some of them are.
I thought they mentioned earlier it was going to be a free dlc since it is supposed to be significantly smaller than WONY.
$40 ?????? No way any but a few but that. I get it it's an investment in your channel.
But anything over $20 is a no go and even then I may still wait.
They did a long time ago but its ubibugs mate 😅
You finally said what I thought : they ran out of ideas so they brought back the dead.
Shows laziness and lack of imagination.
@@georgeperry6887 Hollywood has been in that mode for years, not working so well for them.
If you listened to all of the coms and pay attention to the story you wouldnt think that.
Keener didn’t die he’s in a cell in the basement of the white house
Keep up the good work.. you help me a lot through my divisions journey thanks!!!!
Glad to help!
Looking fwd to the new DLC i have no issue paying for it love the game
Same here. Just bring it already.
I’ll wait like I did last time , got the NY expansion for £7.99 , caught up no problem after
Same, was on sale when I paid for last dlc. Try not to pay full price.
Got the game with expansion for like 15 bucks last yesr
Huge fan of the game, only game I play….
Stopped playing a few months ago. Happy for it to die. Moved on.
@@aaronsinspirationdaily4896 check your medicine
I hope we lose division, they are trying to fuck it.
Just being back underground that shit was so fire on the first division game.
If u haven't tried it play div 1 that world in that game is something very special
Might aswell just throw in what they started. Heartland. And tweek it for Brooklyn.
I wouldn't be surprised if this DLC cost $70, they're charging around $30 for a weapon skin
Inflation 😂
$70??? BG3 is 60$ Stalker is 60$
so if it is they cant complain cuz they made it happen
It won't be. That's absolutely insane. Warlords of new york was the last DLC, and it was about 20$. It'll probably be the same price, no more than 30$ worst case scenario
@@creeper4599 I was thinking 40 bucks
$30... BUT, there should absolutely be another big free update that adds the following:
-Autofire to pistols (just like they did for rifles and MMRs)
-Scopes for pistols (4-6X, we don't need every YTer shoving a "BIS Focus Pistol build" down our throats, just something to make aiming a bit better)
-Melee DMG = 200% of current single bullet DMG, and scales with weapon handling (it's WAY past time to fix this one, and this will make it both calculable and effective with current gear)
-Melee DMG weapon mods (affix bayonets anyone? ....come on, you know you want to)
-Add Weapon Handling gear mods back into the game (10% Max)
-Make all Exotic Gear reconfigurable (ie when rerolled it can attain different attributes, maybe even a new main core if you really want to be gracious)
-Fix/redo all the busted exotics (Rugged Gauntlets, Acostas Kneepads, Shocker Punch, Sacrum, Overlord - absolutely no one will complain about any of these changing; even a meager 10-20% improvement will cause rejoicing)
Make this happen devs. Cheers!
That said, if Massive doesn't want to completely blow this DLC opportunity, then here's the bare minimum guidelines:
1) Do NOT include busted exotics. If they don't deliver on some premise that changes or adds to how people play DPS, Tank or Skill builds.... then just delete them from the package. It doesn't have be "META changing", but they at the very least should not show up DOA. (And keep this in mind, it's absolutely OK to send something to the table that's possibly overpowered and then dial it back later on... lord knows it's not like the game hasn't been broken in every other way, letting players do it with their own effort is simply a fair trade.)
2) Do NOT make the content overly PVP-centric.
@@thestamper1 Making all lvl40 gear with expertise worthless ??? Have you lost your mind ?
We have apparel in this game that cost $30. Do you really think the dlc is going to cost $40?
Hey, TB. Thanks for the video.
Im looking forward to it. Im determined to finish the entire story no matter how many divisions are made. I wanna kesrn more about the hunters.
No. It was clearly a retcon, and not the first one in the series (Hornet, Vivian Connally). Lazy storytelling.
If they bring in new Hunters, I hope they aren't time dependent. It was a pain doing the last group of Hunters in NY. A full CoD Easter Egg with specific in-game times to spawn 4 Hunters and have to do the whole thing again if you die.
My philosophy in spending money a game is the same as yours. I love the game, I buy stuff to support the developers. I want D2 to thrive
I'm suprised this game is still going strong after all these years. 👏🔥
I've come back to this game after a few years.
Made a new character and I've gotta say it's feels alot better than it did before.
Yo your playlist was fire. Can you share the tracks?
I loved this game when it came out but stopped playing, can't remember why. I had no idea they were still releasing DLCs.
What about the solo players I can’t get any of the special weapons like Oroboros and others
It's a co-op shooter looter. I would suggest trying to squad up. You can get everything solo with the exception of two weapons. What platform do you play on? If it's ps, I am happy to help you.
It's a good franchise. The dev need supports. Love this game so far.
I love this Game . This is what our hardcore players do every day , honestly for some of us the cost do not matter . Plus I love your content
They're giving us more DMG and survivability,I think the enemies on master difficulty are gonna be HELL even worse than Legendary enemies.
I just want more Legendary missions. Heroic missions are just too damn easy to pass.
Keener probably didn't care enough about them for them to be important to his current plan except theo and the Sheriff (us the player)
im hyped im ready for the new dlc and story to continue ! its gona be fun to get back to work. if they do it rite it could be a power house
I am still woundering what happened to the rements of the LMT from division 1 i hope they bring them back
You can't just ask what we would pay for something we have no idea how big or small it is.
Do we know, cause I have the entire collection the ultimate version which granted me all current dlc for free so I hope my “expansion pass” allows those holders this dlc free, I also hope this upcoming dlc brings more access to raid/dz exclusive weapons, and new exotic weapons also
Charging $30 - $40 would be crazy for a 6 year old game
Tarkov is over ten years old and released a $250 version of the game. Don't see how age is relevant to a product if there's still demand.
If they are going to end support after release then no price is worth it, but if they are continuing support then a $40 price is more than worth it.
Id like to know what "bugs" theyre talking about? Been playing since launch, all DLC too and never once experienced any bugs; minor or major.
If this DLC doesn't hit it out of the park, then I'm not even gonna bother with assassin's creed. This is Ubisoft's make or break moment.🤞
Hope they fix the dz issue….think we only need one huge DZ….
Yes new distinctively different enemy type would be well received forcing us to cater to a different build.
Me to dude we are one of the best community 😊
they can get $40. if it's higher, i'll just wait until it's on sale.
I think that Division 2 has exhausted its story. Bringing the dead back cheapens the experience. Ubisoft should lean into the amazing open world they created. Introduce new factions and a Survival-like game mode. I can't say how much I'd pay for a DLC until I know more about the DLC.
With the go ahead of a 3rd game! They probably reworking the dlc to set up the 3rd game
Intel hints of new faction to come ect
$40 is pretty handsome for the DLC if this new game content keeps hours playing for the levels to get XP my impression is a thumbs up.
I am wait and see if I will buy it, as I am struggling to play current season
I will absolutely be buying the dlc. Been playing since launch.
I played this game a ton when it came out. Sunk about 500 hrs. Do enough people still play?
Me watching every division youtuber buying the dlc first, and then I'll decide to buy it.
Most people spend more money on a single doordash order from tacobell than they are willing to pay for digital content that takes thousands of hours to create and maintain. Eggs cost like 6-7 a carton. 30 dollars is essentially nil these days. People have insane expectations for game companies but want it all for free.
Ubisoft can’t wait to milk The Division fans. We are cooked with this DLC coming up
Who is forcing you to buy anything?
@@Intruder74 don’t be dumb, mate cah you sound dumb
You mean " you are " cooked .
Division 2 needs to go back to their roots of Division 1. I like both games and I really enjoyed D1 over D2.
