@ 360cbh I have an extensive amateur boxing background. What you just said in true, but you're only proving my previous point. In boxing your hands are first wrapped to avoid breaking your wrist and to take some of the impact on the knuckles. The gloves protect the other fighter and absorb some of the contact, in the process padding your hands to avoid breaking the hand. Lighter the glove, quicker the release and more impact on the hands.
