i know a lot of people dont't like this one but since this was my first time going to disney world, and experiencing this for the first time, this firework show will always be special to me.
The first show experienced is always "the best" for each person. For me, it was HEA...then I got to see this live...splurged for the dessert party...and was seated directly under Tink's flight path (Thank you, Marie!!)...and now I love this one as much...gets just as many feels for me now as Happily Ever After. And I learned something new from this show, after chatting with a cast member, that as this show teaches we each bring the magic! The Magic of WDW is not in the place but in all of us...the "you" in the narration includes guests and cast members coming together, together in this place!!! That is the Enchantment, The Magic!!!
Me too. I actually cried when I saw it. The lyrics are really touching for first timers. Tho im disappointed I didn't see happily ever after I'm glad enchantment was so good.
This right here. True critics and criticism should not be able to ruin this experience. It's a two way street though. Meaning, I as a critic, should not be targeting people's experiences and feelings in duly pointing out any issues, and you, the viewer, should not try to silent critics for pointing out what are problems because it shouldn't matter if you don't mind them or not. The show isn’t that bad but happily ever after made me feel something ELSE. Almost otherworldly. That can never be replaced and I will greatly miss it. I’m just happy I was able to be apart of it
Every time I saw HEA I was crying. The show is alright but it won’t bring that emotion out of me because the score and the songs don’t have that suspense and wind down that HEA had.
Wait until you see the updated version of Enchantment which now has a new intro and outro. It's much better than the now temporary premiere of Enchantment.
10/22/21 married. Honeymoon at WDW. Saw enchantment 15 stories at the California Grill at the Contemporary and the Last night at Magic Kingdom. As much crap it gets, this was my first trip and this will forever be a memory of my wedding and honeymoon. I love you Tiffany, this song is dedicated to you.
"Doesn't matter where you are, 'cause the spark is in your heart." 😊 Words can't describe how much I love this song, and the incredible music of this whole show.
after listening to this about 3 dozen times I just realized this show is meant for friends to get together and watch, to reunite for this special time. HEA was 50/50 but was much more couple geared. Enchantment is for those friends who only see each other every so often. this show is a way to wind down a day of making memories after being apart this show just seals that memory rather than being its own like watching HEA would be. its simple
So one main problem I have is that, much like what you said, "after listening to this about 3 dozen times..." then you will some what like it. This is a really big problem for a kiss goodnight. An average guest at Magic Kingdom is a tourist who would only visit Magic Kingdom once every 5 years and only spend a week on property = one park per day and the extra days to either visit their more preferred park or just relax. So, most guests will only get to see this firework show once. Wishes and Happily Ever After was almost perfect, because it told a beautiful story and message within one take. Any nighttime show at the Walt Disney World should be almost perfect, and make guests leave the park with a kiss goodnight. Here are a few examples. Rivers of Light - It is a beautiful water/light show that told the message of You are the one who can bring people together to help nature, since we are all one. The whole show fit Animal Kingdom perfectly, and like one of my friends who isn't a Disney fan like me, more as an average teenager who goes to the Disney parks, he loved it. He told me it was so powerful, as the lyrics itself he heard was beautiful. "Its a rite its a choice, we are masters of our voice. We are stronger than we know, together". An average guests to what we think do understand deep messages in shows. The way how people act in general, we capture little details and process it. Like your friends can be watching a TV show you don't want to watch, but you are there because your friends are there. But in the end, you might be really into the show even though you didn't fully watch it. It happened to me while watching Squid Game XD I didn't pay attention in the first 3 episodes, but go hooked just be hearing a seeing a few things. MGM doesnt really have any good shows....moving on Illuminations Reflections of Earth - Yes, the show was outdated visually, but it still told a beautiful message and there was always a massive applause in the end. I'm pretty sure you know about this show, so I'll move on to HEA. Happily Ever After - It told the message that You are the one who makes your decisions to find your Happily Ever After. As a person who saw this on the live stream, and in person, I cried both times and that just proves this show is beautiful in both ways. The transitions in this show is so seamless and it hits nostalgia so well. It plays decades of music and references from the Disney/pixar/marvel films which made this so emotional and connected with guests. I disagree that HEA was coupled gear because I watched with my best friend. We both sang some of the tunes since it is so well known. My friend did not know the lyrics of Out There besides...out there, so he was only singing those parts XD And just watching the projections of the castle, he kept on saying, "oh my gosh" when he saw all the films he loved or seen. Happily Ever After proved to everyone that Disney can create firework shows not just for entertainment, but to teach guests a message, or create an emotional pieces with a full storyline. Basically what I am saying is, Disney Enchantment is not a good show that would replace Happily Ever After. Happily Ever After was an instant hit on opening day and I bet all guests who watched HEA left the park non-stop talking about it because of how impressive it was. Disney Enchantment is a mediocre show, but we don't expect Disney to create mediocre shows, especially for the 50th anniversary. It should have used more classic films like Happily Ever After, displaying songs all guests know and love, not the newest films. Like seriously Disney, Moana songs were playing from left to right. TOO MUCH.
@@Quintinlicious that's the problem. Disney use to have a standard which was what made the parks so unique regardless what an average guest thought. To an average guest, they don't even care about firework shows or parades, but Disney keeps on doing them and "always" tried their best on their nighttime show. Why? To create an experience unlike any other.
That Into the Unknown segment just hits different so many chills and that's on top of the chills from that 90s/R&B approach in the intro, gives me I Believe I Can Fly vibes which is quite fitting for a Disney firework show. I'm glad they gave this genre of music attention.
That is easily the best part of the show. That and the Moana song at the end. Especially if you're standing in the back by the flagpole and can see the lasers all the way down mainstreet. The harmonies are weird, yes, but it's one of those "you have to be there" sort of situations because it doesn't hit as hard if you're not physically standing there hearing it.
That song was burned into my brain the night we saw the show! So much so here I am at 12am in the RUclips comments looking for that exact version to download!
HEA is definitely the most magical fireworks show disney ever created… i reaaaaally hope they bring it back after the 50th anniversary celebration. but i gotta say, “You Are The Magic” is SO well written!! it gets me emotionally unstable every time. the show development after the opening and right before the reprise of YATM at the end could be easily discarded and reimagined. i really think they did well with YATM, but the show wasn’t enjoyable at all… saw it 2 times already and i can just remember the first couple minutes of projections after the opening lol. my mind just can’t let me forget how marvelous it was to listen to YATM live, even though i really want HEA back.
I hope one day Disney will release the soundtrack to “Enchantment” with no fireworks and applauses, just the music only track, and it will be on the upcoming “Official Album” soon.
I hope so too, but to my sources, Disney is no longer releasing any tracks of the entertainment in the US parks. To my understanding, the last official release of a nighttime show in the US Disney Parks is The Magic, the Memories, and You. I may be wrong, but that is what I can think of on the top of my head. The only park that will consistently release audio is Tokyo Disney Resort. Otherwise, we don't have that much luck of getting the soundtrack. Happily Ever After soundtrack was leaked, Paint the Night was leaked, and etc.
@@disney1tv623 Maybe this full source audio soundtrack might be leaking online eventually. I wonder if they will put it on an upcoming “Official Album”.
My fiancé and I got to see it Wednesday from the Polynesian beach for the first time it was amazing. I couldn't stop crying it was beautiful ❤️ Going to the MK with my mom on the 26th to see it up close right on Main Street U.S.A. Can't wait!
Here's my thing with this show. First off I just want to say that I have never been to Disney World, so I have no emotional attachment to etheir show. To me firework shows are all about the music. In Happily Ever After, the trio of love is an open door, You'll be in my heart, and I see the light, has to be the best section of any firework show that I have ever heard. Also I prefer the opening song to happily ever after, over you are the magic. On top of which Happily Ever After has songs from movies that never get put into any show, like Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Hercules. Listening to both shows back to back, I stand by the fact that Happily Ever After is the best show Disney has ever produced both in Disneyland and World. Not to say Enchantment is not a great show, and it definitely doesn't deserve the hate it is getting. I understand why people are upset that Happily Ever After is gone, so am I because I will never have a chance to see it in person. Both shows are great, but here's to hoping that Happily Ever After makes some sort of a comeback, if not Enchantment is more than enough.
I love this soundtrack and the show at Magic Kingdom. I listen to the words and the words I truly feel deep inside because I didn’t think I was good enough to follow my dream. But to here the lyrics to this song truly make me cry and feel motivated.
@@chefdannydesteli harmonious is a fantastic show, but I have issues with the fact it’s a solely IP based show in EPCOT, the park that is supposed to be less about IPs
No, stop. No matter what you say, it is untrue, this is unique. It’s fine that you prefer something else, but it was always going to be different. It is up to you how you perceive that. 😊
@@cancelled148 Nah. It's very true. If this show existed in a vacuum without having replaced HEA, people would like it more. I would like it a lot more too. I do like Enchantment and think it's a good show, but I passionately loved Happily Ever After which very much so DID impact my enjoyment of this one. It's not fair to this show itself, but that is the unfortunate reality of how these shows work. One has to get shut down to make way for another. Likewise with Harmonious and Illuminations.
I love the message of ‘You Are The Magic’ it inspires us to believe in ourselves and peruse our wildest dreams. Because without you, your dreams can’t come true. I think it’s a great way to celebrate the 50th, because Walt Disney World was built on dreams.
Like anything in life, one will gravitate to what they experienced the most. So if you are used to something, especially when you were smaller, younger, then it will have a sentimental effect. Enchantment will do the same for the new generation of Disney lovers and for the ones that don’t mind change. I embraced it since I first saw it in person, for the 50th, October 1st. 😊
I don't know what people are talking about that there's no story. Host tells you to go on a journey to find your magic. First song is the aspirational song of what you want to do despite all the naysayers. Second song is the start of the journey. Then the next four songs symbolize the unexpected surprises(be our guest), celebrations (under the sea), New friendship you make(toy story), and love (whole new world) you find on this journey. Then just when you find your magic and soar higher(peterpan), you get the hero song(into the unknown), follows by the villain song crashing your hopes. Then we get the redemption pick me up song (I am moana) and then finale. I think it has just as strong of a story as HEA.
Me and my wife was at Disney World back in May of this year. We loved it. It brought many memories back when I was there for the 25th anniversary. Definitely be coming back for when we have kids later in our future.
If there’s one thing the 50th did correctly, it was music. “The Magic is Calling”, “You Are The Magic”, and even Harmonious were masterpieces. Hopefully Disney can find a way to work them into future shows and celebrations.
We got back from Disney World this year and this show was amazing! 🥰it was my daughters first ever Disney trip so Disney Enchantment will always be special to us. It was the first one that we seen together as a family ❤️
it isn’t HEA but I don’t think this show deserves the hate it’s getting. this show felt so magical and is so amazing if you look past the other overshadowing thoughts, it really is a magical show and this soundtrack is incredible
Despite what everyone has been saying, I think this sounds great! I do wish they had made a show that was more of a tribute to the 50 years of Disney World, but I think this is nice too. I will forever miss HEA though.
Went to Magic Kingdom for the first time in my life last week on Monday and had one of the best times of my life the literal child in me came out. This music just hit different during the show emotions of everything happy came out.
This song with the trumpets was 1000 times better, original, than the others they made now, the other more recent ones took the sound off the trumpets, it was a lifeless song
It sounds pretty good, I just wish they would keep movie song originals instead of having the new leads re-sing them. This is what made HEA the best. Jordan Fisher can't be beat either 🤷♀️
Y’all moaning , can’t we just appreciate we have a place we can go that lets us feel the way we all individually do when we go to Disney ? and luckily some of us can afford to be able to go. For some this is as a close they may get, some not even . We really shouldn’t be moaning . It’s not worse nor better it’s different like each and everyone one us are . If we had this mindset about everything what would be the point in anything . Just enjoy what you are getting and look forward to another change . Happy nye everyone
Ok, fine. After seeing this in person, this isn’t THAT bad of a fireworks show. The soundtrack does have its moments, and You Are The Magic is such a fantastic theme for the show. (Happily Ever After is still WAAAY superior in every single way imaginable, though)
I just got back from Disney and I will say this show was awesome and Magical! The soundtrack was great and an awesome addition to the beautiful fireworks! I didn’t see the castle projections because I watched it from splash mountain and the Polynesian beach. I though it was great and I hope they don’t change it again!!
Aren't the firework shows the best from somewhere other than in front of the castle. I watched it on 7 Dwarfs and then walking through Fantasyland. There were fireworks all around you, there was no castle projections on the back of the castle tho. Its my dream to see firowrks at the top of chickapin hill but i guess it will never happen. 😥Maybe Disneyland.
I will forever love HEA but I’m going to let this one grow on me. It’s honestly not super bad it just is kinda choppy, but You Are the Magic is pretty good!
Enchantment is kinda a great show except they could use more fireworks at the finale. Can’t wait to come this Summer to see this magical nighttime spectacular
Again, I admit I never liked HEA because it knocked Wishes out, which was my favorite Magic Kingdom fireworks show, BUT...I admit that this soundtrack and show has grown on me a little bit since seeing it for the first time a couple days ago. I honestly hope this isn't a temporary show and stays for awhile
This is the original soundtrack of the show. The current soundtrack looks very different. I had started with Disneyland and NY Fair footage, Walt's quote about disney world, attractions, Roy dedications, and Mickey Mouse opening. Mickey also doing the finale phrase of "YOU ARE THE MAGIC" instead of Angela Bassett.
I am the magic of Disney Enchantment and childhood memories of magic Kingdom and the world of magic Kingdom ✨ miss you coronavirus is so hard don't like it you could have a time to do it put me to sleep in my dreams tonight thank you Disney enchantment for the best of all my life for you are the magic
Well it's always on Disney+'s "trending" list as soon as you see it. And from what I've heard from teachers, their kids *will not* stop watching it. Yeah I don't blame him. Moana's making bank right now, and it still should for years to come.
I saw Enchantment for the first time two weeks ago. I prefer Harmonious but this soundtrack did make me cry because this was the first time being back at Disney since I was 7 years old. So about 19 almost 20 years ago
Look it's not a bad show, but given this is supposed to be for the 50th, I was expecting something much, MUCH bigger, that would exceed "Happily Ever After"!
I hope to see a new updated version of the soundtrack since it was leaked the other night the show is getting updated with new clips of Walt and Roy Disney, which is how it SHOULD HAVE BEEN FROM THE BEGINNING!

Edit: lesgo boiz HEA is coming back
@@chefdannydesteli harmonious is a fantastic show, but I have issues with the fact it’s a solely IP based show in EPCOT, the park that is supposed to be less about IPs
No, stop. No matter what you say, it is untrue, this is unique. It’s fine that you prefer something else, but it was always going to be different. It is up to you how you perceive that. 😊
Same!!!
Agree
What about wishes
Thank you so much! You are the Magic has been completely stuck in my head since I watched the show premiere. Love this soundtrack!
@12:00 will always give me chills!!! 😍😍😍it’s even better in person !

100%
Sorry but the part starting at 0:28 is absolutely breathtaking. Goosebumps every time. This show is better than the dramatic folks say it is.
Most of the negativity is because HEA ended. They'll get over it and then be upset with this one gets replaced.
@@justtheo9716 Sorry but that's not the case
Agreed, both shows are incredible! Happily ever after was better, but this is such a close second!
@@jackskellingtonsora Actually is it true. The songs are great. But the show doesn’t dedicate anything to Walt Disney World nor Walt himself.
the horn part at 8:02 is unmatched

Gonna miss this song and show 😢
I love the message of ‘You Are The Magic’ it inspires us to believe in ourselves and peruse our wildest dreams.

Exactly

I know right
What an amazing show! Happily ever after will always be the best, but I’m glad to say this is a close second! Tear up watching this too!

Me and my wife was at Disney World back in May of this year. We loved it. It brought many memories back when I was there for the 25th anniversary. Definitely be coming back for when we have kids later in our future.

12:00 The Moana part was so breathtaking and amazing when I went to Disney world
For real!! I cried during that part!! It’s beautiful seeing it and hearing it in person! 🥰❤️

I cried
This show is amazing and deeply meaningful. Never needs to be a competition between this and the other show. Let people like things.

It’s October of 2023, and I’m still listening to this while mulling over school work. It’s hard, but this soundtrack pushes me through.

Planning on proposing on one of the firework boats during the a whole new world part next month. Im excited

Love how it sounds! The music sounds so much better like this!!

it isn’t HEA but I don’t think this show deserves the hate it’s getting. this show felt so magical and is so amazing if you look past the other overshadowing thoughts, it really is a magical show and this soundtrack is incredible
Despite what everyone has been saying, I think this sounds great! I do wish they had made a show that was more of a tribute to the 50 years of Disney World, but I think this is nice too. I will forever miss HEA though.
0:29 You Are The Magic (Part 1)

I'm looking forward to my trip to Walt Disney world next month. Love this song makes me emotional

Went to Magic Kingdom for the first time in my life last week on Monday and had one of the best times of my life the literal child in me came out. This music just hit different during the show emotions of everything happy came out.
i love the guitar part???? oh my god-
I cried when I first listened to this and I always listen to this to remind of my awesome trip to Disney world.
This song with the trumpets was 1000 times better, original, than the others they made now, the other more recent ones took the sound off the trumpets, it was a lifeless song
Take a look this version in the guitar!!!! ruclips.net/video/uapwTLrH7S0/видео.html

Glad this is up!! 👏

The Moana songs are always my favorite
Ok, fine. After seeing this in person, this isn’t THAT bad of a fireworks show. The soundtrack does have its moments, and You Are The Magic is such a fantastic theme for the show.
(Happily Ever After is still WAAAY superior in every single way imaginable, though)
I also like the “I am Moana” part too that was amazing tbh Atleast to me.

The rearrangement of he night in bald mountain is also really good. HEA is the slightest bit better and it coming back soon
Fantastic quality as always - can't wait to hear your upload of Harmonious! :)
Fantastic quality, you mean FANTASMIC quality, LOL

Finally, we return to a show with a softer shimmery-er intro! Haven’t had that since Wishes!
@@andrewnash7479 I agree it gets so crowded and I like seeing them from a different point of view
Ya there no reason to stand in a crowd when you can ride three different rides and watch the fireworks from the rides
12:53 and 13:05
Okay.. I love this soundtrack
I will forever love HEA but I’m going to let this one grow on me. It’s honestly not super bad it just is kinda choppy, but You Are the Magic is pretty good!

Ok it’s growing on me
So excited to see this later this month!
Wooooo excited for you!!!!!
Went to Disney World last week for the first time and saw this. I was just in awe. Magical moment.
Please make the updated version of the soundtrack with the new Walt / Roy / Mickey opening! Would be amazing!
Enchantment is kinda a great show except they could use more fireworks at the finale. Can’t wait to come this Summer to see this magical nighttime spectacular

Happily Ever After always be the best one
Again, I admit I never liked HEA because it knocked Wishes out, which was my favorite Magic Kingdom fireworks show, BUT...I admit that this soundtrack and show has grown on me a little bit since seeing it for the first time a couple days ago. I honestly hope this isn't a temporary show and stays for awhile
Wishes all day long,
HEA meh...
🙂🙂
This show is most likely temporary and will be replaced April 1st 2023 but I agree with you on this one it’s growing on me and it’s taking time

at 12:01 I get so fuckin’ emotional😩😩
Love this!!!!! 😍😍😍😍
Wow that was quick 😅
Good job 👍

I think Bob Chapek really loves Moana, I love it too but still other songs also have the same impact as Moana

At first I kinda thought that the male vocalist sounded a bit like Wanya Morris from B2M but Phillip Lawrence still did pretty darn good
Dreams Come True
Look it's not a bad show, but given this is supposed to be for the 50th, I was expecting something much, MUCH bigger, that would exceed "Happily Ever After"!
Take a look this version in the guitar!! ruclips.net/video/uapwTLrH7S0/видео.html
HEA is hard to top frankly.
Can you do the 50th anniversary Mickey cavalcade plz with the announcement at the beginning

I hope to see a new updated version of the soundtrack since it was leaked the other night the show is getting updated with new clips of Walt and Roy Disney, which is how it SHOULD HAVE BEEN FROM THE BEGINNING!
