As a CM who started with WDW during the 50th anniversary, this show will always be one of my favorites!

I know a lot of people weren’t huge fans of enchantment, but remember every show is someone’s first. Enchantment was the first firework show I ever saw, and I’ll always love it most I think.
YOU'RE SO REAL. it was my first firework show too! my family never stayed for em when i was little. but especially after covid and not being able to go for so long, and seeing this show, it was so magical. i think it'll always have a special place in my heart, too.
I smile at the sound of Walt and Roy's voices... I know they're both proud. And I love how they added Mickey, he is a central figure of all this park and everything else stands for.

Walt and Roy would be furious with the current state of the company.
As a former cp who made magic in MK, this would play every night and made my program worth while and now that I'm going back in January, this show means even more to me.
While the locals are not a fan of Enchantment; me a Disneyland local actually really loved Enchantment
After talking with one of the artists behind the show, I can confirm the lyrics are:

As a former cast member, I loved singing the soundtrack as it was played over the speakers in the restaurant I was in. Soundtrack is super good and it will always have a spot in my heart. I will never forget some of the guests' reactions to me singing the soundtrack almost every night.
So happy that theres an official/clean soundtrack now!!!

Add some more classic disney songs and this show would've been perfect. Adding the 2 minutes at the front was much needed!
The soundtrack is starting to grow on me ngl! I hated it at the first year, however now it’s starting to feel much more nostalgic and fun!
Still can’t wait for the return of Happily ever After… However deeeep in my heart I will miss this show at least a tiny bit🤗

I saw this show back in February it was my first time in Disney World and I cried when I saw the castle and I also got emotional when watching the fireworks it was a moment and a experience I’ll never forget especially that I got to share it with my wife ❤
I know this just didn't get the traction that HEA has, but as evidenced by comments, it holds a lot of sentimental memories for many people! I grew up watching FiTS and then Wishes, legends in their own right. But my wife and I took our two kids to Magic Kingdom this past February and now this show holds a very special place in my heart since it was the first time I was able to visit with children of my own.
These shows, no matter which, hold deep sentimental connections for so many of us - something I truly think only Disney can do!

Yes! I also went in February and got to experience Disney Enchantment. PURE MAGIC! It is literally one of the greatest things I have ever experienced. I video'd the entire segment the 2nd night I was there and I watch it about 10 times a week to reconnect with the feeling I had that night. And I tear up every time. Disney Enchantment is arguably the great closing show Disney ever made!
Enchantment has grown on me not gonna lie I’m kinda upset they’re getting rid of it.

@@lolhuhu6570 as far as I know they’re not updating it they’re just bringing it back because it was a fan favorite. And Enchantment was only for the 50th anniversary.

i'm thrilled for the return of Happily Ever After in 2023.
though i wonder what changes will it get? will it be more Disney and Pixar animated movies or will it be Main Street projections?
It's a good monumental soundtrack, it doesn't have the same punch as HAE but its enough to celebrate Disney's 50th anniversary for a limited run. The composition is the exact same as HAE with less orchestration. The ending reminds me soo much of wishes of how the last line is presented by the host. wishes had Jiminy Crickey, this one had Mickey. I'm glad to have witnessed its final version before it closes this year.
I go back do Disney in September 2023 I won’t get to see this show before they change back to happily ever after. I’m curious of what they are changing for the updated show.

Thank you for all of your hard work. This years Not So Scary features some new stuff in the loop, including the 2011-2014 Villains Mix and Mingle that has yet to be released or heard outside of the show. It is a completely re-done version of Re: Villains from Tokyo Disneyland Halloween Parade 2009. Up until now, Not So Scary has only played the parade version of the song in the Not So Scary Loop. If you would be ever so kind as to grab a recording of this years Not So Scary Main Street Loop, it would be greatly appreciated!

I believe this is what you’re talking about. It doesn’t have the exact version of the song as it’s not publicly available. The one used is a demo which is the best that exists.
When I hear that song. I dreamed that I'm kissing Booboo Stewart and our magic burst out of our hearts!
I watched this show for the first time yesterday, and I can truly say that the new intro makes it so much better. This show is also now way better than Harmonious in my opinion.
That's not even a show that ran in MK it ran in Epcot so you can't compare it.

Happily Ever After is better but this show ran for the majority of my college program. As a cast member this show hit me so hard.
Thanks for the full clean soundtrack. We'll miss that show when spring comes, unless they could hopefully sign the petition to keep Disney Enchanted going for being so late to finish that project, so they could change their minds from the returning and updated HEA. Otherwise, they will have no idea what they are missing out.
So much better with this show now! Tho I’m thankful it’s leaving next year and that Happily Ever After is coming back!

love this!❤ my question is however, at 2:09 roy walt’s brother mentions “dedicated this 25th of October 1971, why does disney world have it to were they celebrate each big anniversary year every five years on October 1st and not what roy mentions in this video which is October 25th, hmmm confused? 🤔
Magic kingdom opened to the public on October 1st while the official opening ceremony by Roy happened on October 25th ❤

Let me just say that the new intro is absolutely phenomenal and should have been there from the beginning. But do I think it saved the show?
…No, not really. It’s a band-aid solution to what still is, in my opinion, a very mediocre show. Granted, it’s a very extravagant band-aid, but a band-aid nonetheless. I’m still counting down the days until the updated Happily Ever After.
(You Are The Magic is an amazing theme, though, I will admit. It definitely deserved to be attached to a better fireworks show.)

It's a modernized/rock version of an orchestral piece titled "Night On Bald Mountain." It's in the public domain so finding a version like this one may be a chore, but it appears here because it is used during the Chernabog sequence in Fantasia and Fantasmic. :)

The epcot anthem was only recorded live for D23 and never used anywhere else

I personally love this show, its music, its message. I wished they kept it, instead of going back to the old one.
What's its message? Look at everything you can watch on Disney Plus? Oh yeah here some stuff added almost a year after the 50th anniversary started.

The soundtrack has no emotional grasp like Happily. It teases you then really badly transitions to other random segment. The only thing you can maybe just maybe get message wise from this show is “you are the magic” but doesn’t back it up with anything special. Shows like momentous and happily back up their central message

I sob this firework show was 100% original and new! The hate it got for the absolute reason just to bring back an OVERUSED song that was not original to WDW at all. Enchantment, the anthem, and the firework show are all original since Wishes!.
The theme song wasn’t bad at all.
The execution of the show was another story.

I’m not a big fan of this show. I enjoy the soundtrack, but the show itself just doesn’t work with me. Personally, I prefer Happily Ever After and Fantasmic.
