I personally liked the original Electrical Light Parade opening better, but that is more just nostalgia for me. This is still an excellent callback to that opening, and what follows is an absolute banger.
I was working at Disneyland during the 60th, and I was the guy that would stand at the two doors that would enter Fortuosity (We had to keep them closed for Fireworks and parades). So I was able to watch the Parade almost every night. I will say that I NEVER got tired of listen/watching the this. It was always such a blast! Same with the Fireworks. It also was such a delight when guests would come up to me and tell me how much they love the music or even to just wave at me. Things that may seem small to you mean so much to others.
"When can we do this again? I never want this to end." Something tells me that almost everyone who goes to a Disney park thinks this exact same thing... it's certainly what I thought when I was at Disneyland for their 60th. Three of the happiest days of my life.
Since they have removed Zip-a-dee-do-da from the park permanently, I honestly think those lyrics you wrote in this comment should be the new official theme song for the park.
Fun Fact: Paint The Night parade is a parade which premiered at Hong Kong Disneyland and it is a spiritual successor of the Main Street Electrical Parade. ( From Wiki )
And Happily Ever After the Song too. I wish that they would’ve moved Happily Ever After to HKDL for a while when MK has the new 50th show but I guess they’re doing something else.

This reimagined version of what used to be The Main Street Electrical Parade, was composed by none other than Adam Young of Owl City. That’s why it sounds so good.
I'm an OG Disneyland fan and grew up watching The Main Street Electrical Parade. When I heard about this new "light parade" for the 60th Anniversary I was skeptical. I was there opening night of the parade a cried when I heard how they included "Baroque Hoedown" in the new music, from then on I was hooked!! I love Paint The Night!
This entire song bring some much memories. I was still in high school, and i had the annual pass. My high school was just down from the both Disney park. After high school, I would go to Disneyland with my family. I believe I went about +70% of the time. Going on California Screamin’ and Grizzly River Run multiple times. Finally, around 8:00pm, Paint the Night would play. I enjoyed every single part of it, especially the Cars parts. Seeing Lightning McQueen and Mack with Neon Light on the truck was so immaculate. My family would stay until midnight to watch it all over again in order for all the equipment would go backstage and start over for the next day. Then I remember paint the night went to California Adventure for a bit. This parade will always be special to me, and I hope I get to see it again in the future, like how they did with the electrical parade.
Here's the confirmed 2025 changes: 1. The opening dialogue will be "To all who come to this happy place, Disneyland proudly presents...!" 2. Since "zip a dee doo dah" will most likely be removed, "when you wish upon a star" should now finish the lyrics by extending it or put a different song in between. 3. I don't know what new or returning floats will be but please let me know if it does.
I can’t understand why Disney doesn’t release park BGM and parade music on CD or iTunes. There are a LOT of Disney fans who can’t get to the parks very often, who would pay to have this music in a high bit rate.
Disney has been lacking with releasing their soundtracks recently and updating them. I remember back then, they used to always release all of the new show soundtrakcs like tokyo Disneyland right now.
well - at least we can thank these baaaaaad cast members who copied the audio lol Disney hasn't released new park soundtracks since the '90s. (of new offerings)

when the updated version debuts at DCA in the Summer (I say Summer because even though PTN opens at DCA in April, the new float won't appear until June) ANY plans to do an updated soundtrack that includes both the new float music AND the music from the "Frozen" section even if it's removed from the parade as is rumored to be happening?
FYI Disneyland is bringing back Paint the Night. I think it’s for their 70th Anniversary. So excited. Can’t wait for this parade to come back. Where do u think it will be at? Disneyland or Disneys California Adventure. Would like your thoughts.
This is weird. This track is nearly identical to the other version. This is just 3 minutes longer. But I couldn't figure out what makes it 3 minutes longer. Also, this version lacks the characters' voices in the parade. I don't hear the "Shhhh quiet" and door animation in the Monsters Inc. sequence. There isn't also Buzz Lightyear say "millions of bright lights".
This upload has the full version of “When Can I See You Again” at the beginning, whereas the other upload skips straight from the intro to tinkerbell (assuming that by ‘other version’ you mean the one with 2.7million views)
And after 8+ years we are possibly getting this parade back!
Probably one of the most beautiful intros ever for a Disney parade.
it’s absolutely stunning!
Incredible
I personally liked the original Electrical Light Parade opening better, but that is more just nostalgia for me. This is still an excellent callback to that opening, and what follows is an absolute banger.
My boy Adam Young from Owl City making bangers no one even knows he made.

So I was able to watch the Parade almost every night.

Awesome!
I bet every night you probably thought "which outro am I going to hear tonight?, short or normal?"
im 30 and watching THIS specific parade always made me happy and yeah there were tears here and there. - I could watch it every night.
I was a pass holder and paint the night was always a must watch. This soundtrack brings me such joy!
My sister did the same at Fort during the 60th.
"When can we do this again? I never want this to end."
Something tells me that almost everyone who goes to a Disney park thinks this exact same thing... it's certainly what I thought when I was at Disneyland for their 60th. Three of the happiest days of my life.

The transition into Beauty and the Beast makes me tear up every time. Love this so much.
I love the nods to Baroque Hoedown. Disney really know how to tug at our heartstrings. As someone who saw the original 1972 version as a tiny whelp, I am actually kinda grateful for that this time!
this parade was interesting in the sense that one of it's main musical themes was from a movie *NOT* represented in the parade ("Wreck It Ralph")
Yeah, it's kinda sad
You could say the same about Parade of Dreams ("Welcome" from "Brother Bear")
Disney is blind I swear

The greatest summer of my life lives in this song. I drove Donald Duck in this parade and every time I hear it, it's 2015 again.

This reimagined version of what used to be The Main Street Electrical Parade, was composed by none other than Adam Young of Owl City. That’s why it sounds so good.
Also the authors of the song here used "When I Can See You Again"

Just four days left until opening night at DCA!
Inside Disney can’t wait...unfortunately I won’t be there for the premiere on Friday night but I will be there Saturday evening.
Ouch... well hopefully you enjoy Saturday night at DCA!! 🙌🏼
Who are these singers besides Adam Young? Sounds like Jump5
22:30 I mean, talk about soundtracks that slap and have no reason being as awesome as they are! Lol
I kinda like how this brings the Baroque Hoedown from the MSEP into the 21st century.
Adam Young, la mente detrás de esto, 20/10 y GOD
I love this song I wish I could download it, i have a iPhone and i don't think it's on iTunes.
Adrian Orozco uh you mean when can i see u again yea is on iTunes is by Owl City
You can find the whole soundtrack on soundcloud
When CAN we do this again?
Nice that you have the ending!
Adam Young is the man.
I wish Paris had this parade q-q
_sad DLP noises_
Wish this was Tokyo Disney... I would've given anything to see that after a friend shown me this
Still the best parade.
OMG is was so fun and I herd this song when I was going in the park!
After I saw it at DCA during the Pixar fest there was an old person singing zip a Dee do dah, of course I sang with them
Sounds like Ariana Grande singing the opening song. That part always gets me teary eyed. A grown ass man right? 🤧
when the updated version debuts at DCA in the Summer (I say Summer because even though PTN opens at DCA in April, the new float won't appear until June) ANY plans to do an updated soundtrack that includes both the new float music AND the music from the "Frozen" section even if it's removed from the parade as is rumored to be happening?
I could once I have a clean copy of the new Incredibles parade unit...
FYI Disneyland is bringing back Paint the Night. I think it’s for their 70th Anniversary. So excited. Can’t wait for this parade to come back. Where do u think it will be at? Disneyland or Disneys California Adventure. Would like your thoughts.

久しぶりに聴きに来たら…感動、、
I’m going to Disneyland on Halloween and going to be Rosalina for Halloween
This is weird. This track is nearly identical to the other version. This is just 3 minutes longer. But I couldn't figure out what makes it 3 minutes longer. Also, this version lacks the characters' voices in the parade. I don't hear the "Shhhh quiet" and door animation in the Monsters Inc. sequence. There isn't also Buzz Lightyear say "millions of bright lights".
There is no cars
true
@@joshuaespinosa5742 there are
This upload has the full version of “When Can I See You Again” at the beginning, whereas the other upload skips straight from the intro to tinkerbell (assuming that by ‘other version’ you mean the one with 2.7million views)
Anyone remember a little known parade called.... Light Magic?
?
