Interesting. I've heard some kinetic CDIs are like this. I compared the stock crank from my kinetic magnum to a 12mm mazzy crank and the woodruff key positions were identical.

I didn't check the kinetic box. This cdi doesn't have a trigger. So depending on the box settings, it's going to fire in a different location.

@@Corn-ped Kinetic stock CDI box doesn't have a trigger either, but yeah, it could well fire at a different point on the source coil waveform.
