I have an elevate- even when we ordered it last june, the koreans had better features and the europeans had noticeably more power and driver engagement. We bought it because it’s a practical choice for someone planning to use it for more than 6 years- we got a 10 year warranty plan for 30k as opposed to say 3 years after extension for the kushaq. The 1.5 na 4cyl is reasonably reliable even though I wouldn’t call it the most peppy, especially when paired with the cvt. The service costs are not that bad and being a honda and also sharing a lot of mechanicals with the city, parts shouldn’t break and even if they do, it wouldn’t be as expensive. I also like the ergonomic cabin and the lack of haptic hvac and all those gimmicks, 220 mm ground clearance is reassuring in Kerala’s atrocious roads. My heart wanted a manual honda city but my family wanted an automatic crossover, and to be fair it was one of the most comfortable in the class especially for rear passengers along with the skoda which also handled better. Safety is untested but it shouldn’t be like a suzuki, I hope, so, yeah, team elevate
The fact that they have given six air bags as standard in elevate, indicates they want to score high on safety. I guess it would be 5 star rated car in globalncap
The review is full of contrasting statements, like Creta has sunshades for hot days, but there is praise for panoramic sunroof which will be a pain every single day by letting in more heat; or that while Creta has torque convertor like transmission and Elevate is called out for rubber-band effect, but Elevate is faster in sprint and in-gear acceleration; or Creta has plusher interiors but no soft touch surfaces like Elevate, which are supposed to be the symbol of plushness; and so on. To me it seems to be a ploy to push Creta as winner, despite the fact top model costs close to 2.5 lakhs more, and in a sense one will have to pay dearly for the features which if one adds up won't account for the value delivered.
These big channels are all fence sitters. As in they won't even pose a completely objective review and pointing out the many shortcomings. However, I am with them. See, Honda is too complacent. Doesn't even feature a turbo engine here in india when it has them. They must up their ante. Even the obstinate German carmakers are changing themselves to suit the Indian sensibilities so Honda should follow suit too.
I don’t understand. We haven’t faced a heating issue with the panoramic sunroof on a Creta but did on Grand Vitara and reported it. The sunshade comes handy in the early mornings or evenings when the sun hits you directly. Please look at an Elevate and a Creta in the same setting and tell me you find the Honda more premium inside. Soft touch plastics is a miss but the overall look and feel is way superior. As for the gearbox, the Creta doesn’t have that wild rev increase that other CVTs exhibit. What am i to say? The Elevate is faster but does that mean its automatically free from the rubberband effect? Also, i have said repeatedly the Elevate is great value. However, not everyone is shopping for value. And the extra spend does get you a whole lot more. I hope this clears some of your doubts
@@imaysin97why should we label a car bad when it isnt? Its up to you to give the right weightage to things that impact you. To paint everyone with the same brush is ridiculous!

It doesn't actually, only for people who don't wear seatbelts so they must be educated to wear it. Xuv3xo, 700, safari and many 5 star cars have pano sunroof already
Panoramic sun roof lets in more heat as well. And Creta has a poor history of safety ratings, while Elevate based on City platform with a solid crash performance won't be called out. Its a carefully pushed narrative
Have you ever considered the hot summers of India and the relevance of pano roof in this context? Majority of buyers buy cars with sunroof for looks than the functionality itself and pay an extra ton of money for it in process.@@SuyashKaul
Understanding what the customer wants (not needs) and providing that is a much easier and more effective route than educating them to do otherwise. Honda used to get this spot-on (Eg. All gens of City, Jazz, Amaze, CRV, Accord) till a few years ago. However, that seems to have changed after both the generations of Honda Civic (one of the world best sellers) flopped in India. Hope they get back to the older days' glory with the Elevate :)
The comparison is good. I bought my Elevate ZX cvt in 2023 October. By that time the Seltos face lift was launched but I have chosen the Elevate for its clasic interior and the Vtec motor. Here the Creta with NA engine is more expensive than Elevate. Those who want NA engine with cvt the Honda Elevate is more value for it's price.
This seems unfair verdict at the end. I own ZX CVT Elevate and I can vouch that it's the most VFM in terms of pure Petrol NA variant. You praise about Creta but fail to understand it's top end is almost 2.5Lac costlier than Elevate only for those gimmicks like Panoramic sunroof etc. Note, ZX CVT has Level 2 ADAS which is big positive for Honda. I don''t care about fancy and gimmicky electronics which is bound to cause issues in the long term. Things I wish Elevate had: 1) 360 camera 2) Ventilated seats. 3) Better NVH insulation (people who compare about too much engine noise in Honda forget that it's the Ivtec characteristic and even City/Amaze makes similar noise.) 4) Hybrid option which could have killed all the GV and Hyryder bookings for sure.
1. 360 camera can be installed in the OEM Alpine radio 2. Not required however a must have in Delhi NCR but the air conditioning is appropriate unlike VW or Skoda's 1000cc Taigun / Kushaq that are plagued with AC problems 3. Roar of a iVTEC is on a different level 4. Hybrid battery goes kaput in a few years and requires replacement 5. Elevate has Level 1 Adas. It does not have a Radar sensor and relies on traditional camera
Agree with you on your pointers, I own a new city zx yes the cabin insulation could have been better for an 18 lakh rupee car. And what could be better is the front seats should have offered better thigh support. Front seats of elevate and city are very very similar.
Picking up our Elevate ZX CVT tomorrow, can’t wait. Exchanging our 9 year old City I-DTECH with 1,20,000 trouble free miles. Buying the Elevate CVT for our aging parents and hoping to get another 10 years of trouble free kms. It’s Honda or nothing at our house 😄. I did check Creta and it’s nice and all, but I felt it was too busy inside with too much going. I loved the simplicity and class of Elevate and very happy to save 2.5 lakhs. Only two things I really wish the Elevate had was 360 camera and ventilated seats. Everything else that the Creta has is just waiting for those things to break. Drive, height and driver visibility wise, Elevate wins hands down.
I made the right decision to buy a Honda Elevate. Elevate has the best braking, Ride quality, space, seats quality in the segment. It's a Safe car, Reliable, Best ICE Engine, peace of mind, Handling is very good despite the highest 220mm ground clearance. It's a well engineered & all rounder product for sure. Its a more practical choice and with sensible driving, you can easily churn over 18KMPL mileage in Manual 9on highway cruising) Got the first of the lot and have clocked 10K Kms, so you can drop in questions (if any)
@@josefrancymal personally not a fan of automatics. I did test drive, but wasn't swayed. its like any other cvt keeping cost in mind, you won't go wrong w it. but do test drive on a long stretch before making a purchase
Ventilated seats both Front and Back should be made compulsory considering the heat in India. BUT idiot consumers want sunroof which nobody uses except Chhapris. Creta 8inch lower spec got wireless connectivity but higher spec with big screen dont, looks like idiots are sitting in tech department of Hyundai. Middle headrest missing in more spacious Creta but present in narrow Elevate whose seat contouring also say middle seat is of no use, what were the designers thinking?
I own Seltos and it's a same situation, very frustrating. But the idea behind that is that higher variants get connected car tech with built-in maps, so connecting phone to car is not necessary. However built-in maps does not have all places, so I end up connecting android auto through wire most of the time.
FYI ventilated seats do come as accessories in Honda. You can check the accessories brochure/youtube videos on that, and could use it in your seltos too
Honda is not offering panaromic sunroof that I find really good as it distructs the durablity of vehicle somewhere and makes car structure internally weaker complex. It has so much of boot space, leg room, powerful Ac and many much that is wow. So its a no nonsense car❤
Petrol = Elevate Diesel = Creta Both are Incredibly Capable cars..driven both..both of them having own capabilities… Both having common things 1) Superior Engines 2) Reliable 3) Fun to Drive Factor 4) Last Long 5) Honda- Vtec 9000rpm.. 6) Hyundai- Crdi Butter Smooth,Powerful
Both Honda and Hyundai are releasing well built performance sedans and crossovers in the US based on 200hp, 50mpg (21kmpl) Hybrid powertrain and here in India we get crap like this.
In what sense have you called these cars crap? The vehicles you've said with complex powertrains with hybridisation cost 40k USD which roughly translates to 35lakh rupees which is nowhere close to pricing of these cars. The korean siblings offer 160bhp engines which btw, suffices the need of most customers . Where else are we going to use >200HP cars ? You need to see what the european and american markets get for under 20k USD with crappy ass plastics and 1 litre nat asp engines with 82HP . Compared to those cars these are hella better .
@@praghnayreddyYou cannot compare cost to manufacture a car in US to that in India. These car companies are far more capable of building safer cars with better performance but they don’t because they aren’t incentivised to do so. A car sold for 30-35k USD can be manufactured here in India to be sold for 15-20 lacs INR.
@@M4NA5 we have to blame our govt for imposing ludicrous taxes on ckd units and taxation based on engine size and car length. Yes , hyundai has promised better safety rating on the creta with 6 airbags as standard and we can expect 5 star rarings fingers crossed . The elevate is based on city platform hence can expect a 4 star. In that sense, these cars are quite value for money and are not some eco shit boxes that used to be before .
@@praghnayreddyYeah the govt. is definitely to blame; taxing cars based on length and engine capacity, and not emissions. That’s why we see small 3-cylinder 1lt. turbo engines everywhere that are neither efficient nor powerful. And I just don’t understand Indian government’s resistance to Hybrids. I know their reasoning, but don’t understand their concerns.
After seeing the price. I wouldn't go with Creta. I earlier sat in the Creta's backseat and due to the panoramic sunroof, there was adequate headroom for my height. And I understand already that panoramic sunroof is best in bigger SUVs, but for mid size SUVs and below, a single pane sunroof is just right. Functionality, elegant looks, practicality are something Elevate offers and it is something I would prefer it as it undercuts the Creta by a huge margin. Doesn't matter if it misses a lot of frills, but atleast ventilated seats, 360 degree camera would have been great. It's an absolute shame that for 18 lakhs, that large 10.25 inch infotainment still doesn't support wireless apple carplay and android auto in Creta
I also bought honda elevate zx manual in March this year with some more accessories from honda only. So far I have driven the car to 2k km and I have no complaints yet. Android wireless with 10.25 screen works really well and is very helpful. Before buying I was also worried about noise of road and tire in cabin but in manual it is really contained and with music playing in the cabin you can hardly hear any noise. Performance is just awesome, just throttle the accelerator and you can over take almost any 1.5L petrol engine
Spot on review, test drove the Elevate and found it to busy and noisy for my liking: it was a deal breaker for me, more sound insulation around the firewall, floor and wheel wells and boot would have reduced it considerably, I was driving a Honda City CVT then found the dynamics akin to a jacked up City. The rear bench was also not as comfy as my the Honda City my family members said. Actually no one was asking Honda to build an SUV with strict price restrictions: but Honda has built an Elevate to a price and cost cutting shows. I've bought a Kia Carens which is so peaceful and hush on the insides. I didn't TD a Creta as my need necessitated a 7 seater more than 5. My TD of the Elevate was rather underwhelming. The midsize SUV segment is more about refinement and not much about price: people may not bat an eyelid to stretch a few lakhs for the better product and features and I can say Honda has missed out big time on the Elevate in the NVH department. I must say that Kia makes some of the best interiors in this segment...Panoramic sunroof is not a miss for the customer: it's a blessing in our hot Indian summers...
Why @Autocar India is promoting sunroof so much in their recent reviews (as well as comparisons)? To me, the sunroof is of no use in a tropical country like ours. Moreover, children tend to peep through it and sudden braking can hurt them badly.
I test drove both the creta and elevate. Elevate felt so much more like an SUV because of its bonnet visibility, steering was much more responsive, and it ate bumps which made Indian roads feel like foreign ones 😂 Out of the features it’s missing, 360 camera with guidelines feels like the biggest miss. But, then again, the left lane watch camera, front bonnet do make up for some of it. To each their own, but elevate has its own unique charisma, try your hands before deciding anything.
Many RUclipsrs compare the Elevate to the Creta, but they overlook that buyers with a Creta budget often choose the Creta. I'd prefer if they compared the Elevate to the 3xO, Nexon, Sonnet, and Venue. While these are different segments, their top variants are similarly priced, with mid variants only differing by 1-1.5 lakhs. The Creta and Elevate have a 4 lakh price gap. Buyers in this range often have budget constraints and prioritize value and driving experience over the specific SUV category. I personally went to buy a Venue N6 and ended up with the Elevate V CVT-R, which was only 40k more and much better.
I did test ride on both Elevate ZX CVT & Creta Sx Tech ... These are my observations Driving pick up is good in honda Driving view is more commandable in Elevate I can clearly hear engine noise in 80 speed itself .. Remaining all old school fashion style... Create on the other hand provides Engine refinement is awesome The cabin in so calm , except our music & talks Driving experience is very cool...not very quickest but it will be almost very next to elevate.. The look & feel in create is far a way better than Elevate Music is great.. Rear seats are so comfort & spacious

Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back. The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me. I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name. I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range. In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs. I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.
The white screens/background was a really nice idea. All the sheet metal curves and the interior details are visible in the white background. I recommend using this for future reviews and comparisons.
I moved from Duster to Elevate (really hated giving away my 90k mileage car in crisp condition at rs1.75k in Delhi because of 10 year BS). Loved Duster. It was diesel. Gave 17kmpl when I drove in the city, 13kmpl when the driver drove it. Got highest Elevate model in May 2024. I knew driver is going to drive most of the time so fancy cockpit like display and stuff wasn’t of any value. Seamless experience at the backseat. Giving 14kmpl in Delhi on daily Delhi to Gurgaon return trip. Elevate is awesome.
Honda please bring more cars in Indian car market Honda, Indian's have given enough respect to you & now its time for you to pay the dues.. We need more car's which we used to see in 1997 to 2014 - 2015 Era... Indian's have always respected you guys now it's time to make a comeback with OG asia specific Honda cars with OG global level build quality & reliability..
Top end Elevate CVT is priced within 70k of the base Creta CVT. Compare those and it's an easy win for the Elevate on all parameters minus the sunroof size.
I have elevate zxt manual, only miss is ventilated seats and better nvh level on tyre noise...it's an awesome no nonsense ,built to last car.everything which actually matters is well thought out. and vtec engine is best NA engine in the segment..With lane assist camera and straight bonet I never needed 360 camera too, Adas does it's job and never bothers you with unnecessary warnings.. 2.5 lakhs cheaper is cherry on cake
Last month I bought Creta and I am pretty happy with the purchase Tried Elevate , which imo is an amazing machine but few points made me tilt towards Creta- Cabin noise in Elevate is bit too much, which is surprising Whereas Creta is silent The interiors of Creta look far more modern, while Elevate has that classic style to it. But overall i felt Elevate was one generation behind when compared to Creta. Creta has always been feature rich, which in present day is a great selling point although sun roof is a useless add on Elevate is simple and has enough features for day to day commuting. But lacks that X factor.
Need to talk about the Cretas back seat, specifically its recline angle. In my opinion, its so small that most buyers would just recline it once and forget all about it, except when you need that little bit of additional storagein the boot. What do you guys feel? Also, my personal choice would be the Elevate if I were to go for a naturally aspirated engine. In theother segments it's a pity Hondadoes not have an offering. Design wise, while the Elevate looks imposing from the front, I like this version of the Creta better. The panoramic sun roof is the most useless feature you can have in any car when driven in a tropical climate like India. Hill stations, ok. Other places like the one I live (Kerala), 4 months rain, 6 months of heat and 2 months of tolerable heat. When do I use it? The City's hybrid should have been replicated in the Elevate during launch itself. Thats a sure miss.
I think each and evry Elevate owner has watched this video and commented . That is the sales figure of Elevate. And speaking of Creta...they are enjoying the drive 😉
No one is speaking about Post maintenance after buying a car. Honda is a lot expensive in terms of parts and service when compared with Hyundai. This will make a lot of sense as everytime when car goes for service as it will Hurt your pocket. And next petrol in only option in Elevate. But in Creta they have diesel, due to this a lot of them are turning towards creta for Fuel efficiency.
I couldn’t help resist writing this post.. i own a Honda WRV(2018 - diesel top spec) and the honda elevate being reviewed in this video both have the same regn number 3739 😅.. but mine is KA registered
I own a elevate manual and these are the pros, 1 Best in class ground clearance and the body roll is less for that high GC and the suspension just gobbles the bad roads. 2 The ivtec engine is pretty tractable , the engine easily does 60kmph at 6th gear , and getting a highway mileage of 16 , 17 , 18 at 90 - 100 is a bliss , and the engine will rev as high as 7000 rpm 3 As for handling the elevate wins thumbs down , the steering is pretty weighted , and the chassis is stable The creta is a good handler but the elevate is a bit ahead Minus of elevate 1 the rear tigh support is less compared to creta , might be bothersome for people with more height 2 and elevate is best driven in a manual, and the ivt of creta is better than the cvt So buy the elevate for its engine , handling , and its mileage And buy creta for its festures , and a bit smoother ivt
@@ankitsen5971 @ankitsen5971 1 Adas is not 100 percent fit for our conditions so its a hit or miss 2 as for turbo petrol reliability will always be a point of concern in these 3 cylinder turbos 3 and as for features its a user choice And as for 360 deg camera or adas i feel drivers skill is more important than those My elevate VMT has got all the basic features and its ok for me Specially i dont trust these small turbos in terms of reliability Honda offers 10 year anytime warranty Even a kushaq 1.0 offers you a 6 year extended warranty These small cars with turbos are attractive for short term users

Elevate makes a lot of sense for customers who are looking for NA manual compact crossover in this segment, the engine is way better than the creta 1.5 NA, and it is way better than the creta in all aspects. But if customers need an automatic then i think creta's Torque Converter with the NA is a better pick, and if u want a diesel or a turbo petrol then creta is the only choice they have (only comparing elevate and creta).......
@autocarindia1 4:00 it does support wireless android auto and apple caplay for the simple reason that it has integrated navigation and maps in higher end model. Whereas the lower trims come without navigation and maps in the systems . That`s the basic difference for wire less and connected carplays. Too Ironic to call it a frustrating miss, since you review cars for a living. 😁
If you can, please pass on the message to Honda to include at least 3 things in Elevate : powered seats both sides, illuminated switches and gear, front parking sensors at least if not 360° camera....it will be difficult to beat. Of course a turbo charged engine or hybrid will take it to another level.
I think , Honda Elevate will last long , and the reliability is something else in honda , and the design itself , will not get bored , but the creta trend will change in next update
I don't quite understand people and car reviewer's obsession with panoramic sunroof. What's the use of it in a country like India where a prolonged exposure to sunlight is enough to turn you into a charcoal? Also, why Honda did not launch 1.5 litre Turbo is beyond me.
Only the Elevate has Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto… it’s frustrating how both Seltos and Creta top end models don’t have Wireless CarPlay.. come on Hyundai
Hondas deserve a driver who’s comfortable with manual GB.. it’s for drivers and not for A 2 B passengers.. got a City and it loves to be revved.. my dad had the 2nd generation as well and it loved to be driven hard.. it’s for enthusiasts in India and not the features wannabe.. hate Hyundai because they were never drivers cars.. which real driver would ever want an electronic brake

Given a choice, I avoid the Korean jokes as much as possible! This feature, that feature, space, price.... Nothing works for me! It is the ride quality and reliability which the Koreans cannot deliver It is next to impossible to find a good working 10 year old Korean car except the Santro and the i10 which they are good for
Best comparison because both are LOW FUEL EFFICIENCY cars.. You need tones of cash to fill petrol.. these days lot of hard marketing to sell the ELEVATE 😮

4) Hybrid option which could have killed all the GV and Hyryder bookings for sure.
I would have loved better insulation alone to choose the elevate. I don't fancy opening up a brand new car & installing 3M sound deadening everywhere.
1. 360 camera can be installed in the OEM Alpine radio
2. Not required however a must have in Delhi NCR but the air conditioning is appropriate unlike VW or Skoda's 1000cc Taigun / Kushaq that are plagued with AC problems
3. Roar of a iVTEC is on a different level
4. Hybrid battery goes kaput in a few years and requires replacement
I got my elevate zx cvt last month and driving is super comfortable, well insulated and seats are comfortable tooo
Its a more practical choice and with sensible driving, you can easily churn over 18KMPL mileage in Manual 9on highway cruising)
Got the first of the lot and have clocked 10K Kms, so you can drop in questions (if any)
R u ok with NVH? I am looking to upgrade from a third gen city & that is the single biggest concern if I were to stick with Honda.
@@vm-my6hg personally, idk what the big deal is: isn't really as bad as is portrayed by the channels
What is your opinion on cvt
How’s the suspension.
@@josefrancymal personally not a fan of automatics. I did test drive, but wasn't swayed. its like any other cvt
keeping cost in mind, you won't go wrong w it. but do test drive on a long stretch before making a purchase
Its almost a battle of modernity vs conservative design language.
Petrol = Elevate
Diesel = Creta
Both are Incredibly Capable cars..driven both..both of them having own capabilities…
Both having common things
1) Superior Engines
2) Reliable
3) Fun to Drive Factor
4) Last Long
5) Honda- Vtec 9000rpm..
6) Hyundai- Crdi Butter Smooth,Powerful
Tell me why would a sunroof be nice bro? It's 52° at some places in India
Sunroof doesn’t mean the vehicle heats up automatically.
@@capricornus993 i never said so, it's about when are you gonna enjoy it? This feature costs overall 70k+in the cost of the automobile bruhhh
Just a reflection of customer sentiment I guess.

Nice PR review for Creta by Autocar.
New Creta looks like it's sister version Venue
Practicality n no nonsense car is Elevate.
The only problem with elevate is it lacks 360 camera view. thats should be there with ADAS.
Elevate says use ur eyes
I'll not accept your review, Elevevate is far better than Creta in CVT drive
Elevate felt so much more like an SUV because of its bonnet visibility, steering was much more responsive, and it ate bumps which made Indian roads feel like foreign ones 😂
Out of the features it’s missing, 360 camera with guidelines feels like the biggest miss.
These are my observations
Driving pick up is good in honda
Driving view is more commandable in Elevate
I can clearly hear engine noise in 80 speed itself ..
Remaining all old school fashion style...
Create on the other hand provides
Engine refinement is awesome
The cabin in so calm , except our music & talks
Driving experience is very cool...not very quickest but it will be almost very next to elevate..
The look & feel in create is far a way better than Elevate
Music is great.. Rear seats are so comfort & spacious
Honda Honda Honda nothing to compare Honda elevate ❤
These big channels are all fence sitters. As in they won't even pose a completely objective review and pointing out the many shortcomings.
Everything in every car is fine and even if there is a flaw, there is a workaround or another side to it that magically makes it a non issue.
This is due to the fact have prior relationships with many car manufacturers and any critical review can lead to punishments from manufacturers in many forms.(Not providing review units, withholding press passes etc.etc.etc.)
Again a very shallow comparison.
I recently brought zx model Honda on May 25 wish me guy's n I feel more powerful than Hyundai.. awesome Honda brand❤
Wish they had hybrid or diesel in elevate
Honda please bring more cars in Indian car market Honda, Indian's have given enough respect to you & now its time for you to pay the dues..
We need more car's which we used to see in 1997 to 2014 - 2015 Era... Indian's have always respected you guys now it's time to make a comeback with OG asia specific Honda cars with OG global level build quality & reliability..
Top end Elevate CVT is priced within 70k of the base Creta CVT. Compare those and it's an easy win for the Elevate on all parameters minus the sunroof size.
I think some extra ac vents will be of better use than a sunroof.
A greenhouse isn't meant to cool things but to make them hotter.
Last month I bought Creta and I am pretty happy with the purchase
Tried Elevate , which imo is an amazing machine but few points made me tilt towards Creta-
Cabin noise in Elevate is bit too much, which is surprising
Whereas Creta is silent
The interiors of Creta look far more modern, while Elevate has that classic style to it. But overall i felt Elevate was one generation behind when compared to Creta.
Creta has always been feature rich, which in present day is a great selling point although sun roof is a useless add on
Elevate is simple and has enough features for day to day commuting.
Let more companies come to India, let's intensify the competition. Ultimately we the customers get all the benefits.
I'm a Honda guy, simple n minimalistic
Elevate is d bestttt...go for it...
What a coincidence!!! Was just thinking for it Today and vollaaaa... Here it is..

Wonderful 👌Review Mr.Nikhil👌🤝 Nicely crafted Script 👌 wonderful 👍 Presentation
Elevate lover❤❤
Elevate is very good in Cvt transmission & also smart & good handling & also have good steering dynamics
No all four disk break, no Radar for Adas no ventilated seats and finally real time mileage is not impressive in Honda elevate
Elevate best in the segment
In April month only 1731 number of Elevate sold.
Honda is offered Elevate but not the Honda quality which offers globally.
I think each and evry Elevate owner has watched this video and commented . That is the sales figure of Elevate. And speaking of Creta...they are enjoying the drive 😉
Your video shoot is awesome.. Any car will be loveable if its shooted like this ❤
No one is speaking about Post maintenance after buying a car.
The heart says Elevate ❤ but the mind says Creta all along 😊
I would had prefer Electronic parking brake instead of this old hand break in Honda Elevate
Panaromic sunroof is no use, as it let lot of heat inside the cabin, not good in our conditions.
Both are good sir..when compare to tata these two were way better in their service and with their products
I own a elevate manual and these are the pros,
1 Best in class ground clearance and the body roll is less for that high GC and the suspension just gobbles the bad roads.
2 The ivtec engine is pretty tractable , the engine easily does 60kmph at 6th gear , and getting a highway mileage of 16 , 17 , 18 at 90 - 100 is a bliss , and the engine will rev as high as 7000 rpm
3 As for handling the elevate wins thumbs down , the steering is pretty weighted , and the chassis is stable
The creta is a good handler but the elevate is a bit ahead
Minus of elevate
1 the rear tigh support is less compared to creta , might be bothersome for people with more height
2 and elevate is best driven in a manual, and the ivt of creta is better than the cvt
So buy the elevate for its engine , handling , and its mileage
And buy creta for its festures , and a bit smoother ivt
Turbo petrol and diesel too... Plus Ada's and way more features
@@ankitsen5971 @ankitsen5971 1 Adas is not 100 percent fit for our conditions so its a hit or miss
2 as for turbo petrol reliability will always be a point of concern in these 3 cylinder turbos
3 and as for features its a user choice
And as for 360 deg camera or adas i feel drivers skill is more important than those
My elevate VMT has got all the basic features and its ok for me
Specially i dont trust these small turbos in terms of reliability
Honda offers 10 year anytime warranty
Even a kushaq 1.0 offers you a 6 year extended warranty
These small cars with turbos are attractive for short term users

Elevate makes a lot of sense for customers who are looking for NA manual compact crossover in this segment, the engine is way better than the creta 1.5 NA, and it is way better than the creta in all aspects.
But if customers need an automatic then i think creta's Torque Converter with the NA is a better pick, and if u want a diesel or a turbo petrol then creta is the only choice they have (only comparing elevate and creta).......
I have a Honda elevate. The performance of Elevate is great. Honda elevate is a cool and calm. ❤
1.5 Diesel and 1.5Turbo engines in the Creta, Seltos fits best for SUV.
1.5 petrol is very fuel efficient.
Hyryder Hybrid engine is unique.
I don't quite understand people and car reviewer's obsession with panoramic sunroof. What's the use of it in a country like India where a prolonged exposure to sunlight is enough to turn you into a charcoal? Also, why Honda did not launch 1.5 litre Turbo is beyond me.
Awesome video
There's no car to beat the creta in the segment. All other cars are working for the second position. First position is already taken.
Only the Elevate has Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto… it’s frustrating how both Seltos and Creta top end models don’t have Wireless CarPlay.. come on Hyundai
Honda should work on its NVH Levels in Elevate.
As always quality review by Autocar 👍🏼
Unrelated - not sure if you moved to a better camera, but the video looks super high quality!
0:40 Looks a lot larger in the metal than in the visuals? What does that mean?
Looks larger when you look in real life compared to photos
What is the real world mileage of honda elevate cvt
Hondas deserve a driver who’s comfortable with manual GB.. it’s for drivers and not for A 2 B passengers.. got a City and it loves to be revved.. my dad had the 2nd generation as well and it loved to be driven hard.. it’s for enthusiasts in India and not the features wannabe.. hate Hyundai because they were never drivers cars.. which real driver would ever want an electronic brake
Im an elevate cvt owner. It's a comfortable, no-nonsense car, but it's very boring to drive.
Comparing the Creta SX IVT with elevate ZX would have been a the right comparison
Does Honda provide a 360-degree camera and/or front parking sensor as official accessories or genuine parts? Please let me know, thanks!
Elevate is the winner
Elevate for the win!!
elevate cvt is way better than creta cvt, with creta turbo you cannot compare as the power terrain itself is very different

Which Color of Creta is shown on this review? Titan Grey?
A Turbo 1.5 petrol and another version of the Hybrid ( parallel to Hyryder , i think they have similar product in city )
All comments are Pro Elevate. So it's true, the internet loves Elevate and the road loves Creta
Both r best. Cant go wrong with either. Just have to see ur preference
Given a choice, I avoid the Korean jokes as much as possible! This feature, that feature, space, price.... Nothing works for me! It is the ride quality and reliability which the Koreans cannot deliver
It is next to impossible to find a good working 10 year old Korean car except the Santro and the i10 which they are good for
noise of elevate is absolute deal breaker!
Driven both Elevate pros . Driving dynamics, steering feel, ruggedness. Cons. Noise insulation, cvt lag. Creta pros . Looks, features, IVT Cons . Boring to drive
Just the thing I searched yesterday
It is not about features it is the reliability which matters most .
Will choose Honda any day over creta until toyota arrives
I get the exact same fuel economy figures as the Elevate on a 16 year old Lexus ES350. But it has 272 bhp.
Honda should bring with hybrid engine.
I bought Creta only bcoz I wanted a diesel car..otherwise I would have gone for elevate….btw both these car are good.
Best comparison because both are LOW FUEL EFFICIENCY cars.. You need tones of cash to fill petrol.. these days lot of hard marketing to sell the ELEVATE 😮
