Well we are past 2 years with the same ones in the car and not a single issue as of yet so we would say pretty reliable, never heard of a drop plate failing before. Just be sure to install them correctly

Is not a issue, we checked the clearance after and it not hitting anything only when it airs out ofcourse the body but no lines thankfully
