- Hello foodies, this will be the last episode of our Melaka food hunt. We'll be trying some unique dishes specific to Melaka such as Hee Kiow, Melaka Popiah & Melaka style Wan Tan Mee! Of course we'll also be trying their famous Putu Piring along Jalan Tengkera!

Ta Chong is also very famous for their popiah besides the Bunga Raya stall. It is also cheaper too. U need to make pre order about 2 to 3 days in advance. For any walk in customers especially the tourists she might entertain your order provided it is in a small volume like 2 to 3 pieces . Next time please try to eat without the chili. It taste so much better with its aroma. The Wan Tan Mee uncle indeed the best n well known among the locals n the tourists. He used to sell at the same place in Bunga Raya back in the late 70's before he decided to move to tis new place. The Bunga Raya stall is still operating and run by his relatives. Since u were at that coffee shop u should give it a try on the Chicken wings n the Fried Oyster too. Relatively good. For the Hee Kiow, the most famous shop will be the Restaurant Bee Bee Hiong. It is only open from morning till afternoon. U will like it more. If you wish to eat it for your dinner then you can try one shop near the Southern Hospital. It is located opposite a Car Showroom. If I m not wrong either Volvo or Audi Showroom.
Thanks for the recommendation for Hee Kiow, will definitely put it on our list on our next Melaka visit! Will also try Ta Chong again without the chili 😝

In Malacca konlo mee is usually eaten with cili sauce but I think you poured too much cili sauce in.
Hello 👋, yes we were told to pour the chilli sauce by the stall as well. Perhaps you’re right hahaha, we’ll try again the next time we’re in Melaka.

Maybe lesser pork-lards food recommendation will definitely helps!
Lard is natural, better than industry oil like corn, canola, sun flower seed etc..these oil are toxic .
Why are you eating the burrito in the car instead of the restaurant? You will get grease and crumbs all over your car
