This is how I wanted to start, the old GS550E was all I had, all I thought I'd ever afford. I safety wired it, Red Bull catch can and nothing else because there is nothing else. Never got on track. Ten years later I would sh&t myself if I came to the end of the straights with one front rotor! I race a CBR Fireblade and I can't believe you did it, you actually lived the GS Dream. You out did me.
This is the beauty of the sv650. I can get more out of it than others expect but I get less out of my gsxr than I expect as it's limit is way beyond my ability.
Sir, you are pure magic to watch on that old rusty iron, getting passed on the straight but doing all the overtaking on every corner with a pro style and precision. The first rider on cooper, altho yeah he gave a thumb's up, did get too bloody close, and as for the second twat trying to muscle past on the wrong side, well he got his alright! I'm hoping to go Nov 1 so that I can get passed by you around the outside. I will come over and say hello for sure too
Maybe so. There was a gap up until the last second when he changed his line. Maybe we shouldn't be riding around a track with half the horsepower of everyone else. Just things to consider.
Awesome video, anyone can go fast in straight-line, I get the same when I take my 21 year old 90k mile Fazer 600 on track, the power-rangers don't like being shown-up by someone who knows their bikes capabilities. Old bikes with low power are much more rewarding, love the way people come and talk to you, respect.
Great comment mate, I used to find the same when I did track days on a 95 CBR600F, the pillocks used to come charging past you on the straight then get the hump when I passed them at the next bend.
This is awesome! People are always so stuck on what bike to get and will this bike be good and all that. You are showing everyone if you want to ride you can ride anything!
Hats off to you for hustling THAT "Old Girl" around the track at such a pace, esp' cornering !! Hard to believe, but it was about 1987 or 1988 that I took my old 1978 Suzuki GS.1000-E around Brands Hatch Happy Days - (I still own it BTW)
Hilarious, sportsbikes blasting past you on the straights, then you horizontal laying on the tarmac passing them in the corners on a commuter 500😅 good shit..enjoyed.
It's so easy to make that mistake going into Graham Hill bend when your carrying more speed there and trying to nip past the slower riders. I'm shocked that the first rider went past you so close and as for the second rider he is just a dangerous moron. Glad you managed to stay on and not get hurt. Some people really do have an issue when a slow bike piloted by a quicker rider comes past them as I experience at Donington recently - ruclips.net/video/cEPH6d8tmpA/видео.html .
That happens on every single track day! Always people with fast bikes/cars that dont drive so good and HAVE to overtake no matter what. Here is a good story: I was mechanic at a low budget endurance car team and at a practice there was a jaguar that thought he could brake later than our slow Citroen after the long straight. However, the Citroen is very light, has good breaks and driver. The jag had much higher speed. It got expensive for that jag owner because he went far off the track. Guess money was less problem than the embarresment.
Por favor me gustaría saber qué neumáticos llevas gran vídeo me ha encantado da gusto ver como adelantas a los demás con mucha menos moto Enhorabuena eres muy grande 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What a brilliant video, fucking made me laugh going up under all those litre bikes lol just goes to prove you don't need crazy fast bikes if you can really ride 👊👊
You should see about getting your racing license and see if a team is looking for a rider. Your corner speed is good. The old 500e can't survive the straight bits!
@@ADHDSUZUKI it’s great to see you giving it everything ok that machine . Really a lot people can learn When I pop down south I’ll give you a quick msg
Hi great vid👍 Hey you mention you run pirelli supercorsa’s what I’m wanting to know ,is are you running a 140/70/17 as they don’t seem to do the standard gs500 size of 130/70/17 Cheers
You were beating guys that had more cc than the Suzuki gs500 imagine if you versed a Kawasaki ninja 400 or KTM RC390 you would of left them in the dust lol

Nothing more satisfying than riding a slow bike quickly. Love the deep braking and solid technique. 👍🏻

They guy that binned it deserves what he got.

You only worry about what's infront of you, was his call and he failed.
@@TheYakkismaybe some of those on fast bikes need to consider if they are in the right group?
@@1000sofusernamesor maybe they need to consider getting a bike fit for their skill level.
@@TheYakkis maybe if thoose loosers would learn to ride they wouldn't be overtaken by third of the horsepower and then there is no problem xD

Just subscribed! That was funny as watching those guys blast by on the straight for you go round the outside of them on the corners😂
You are a hero, mate. I love the ypproach with a bike where the tires cost as much as the whole bike. Awesome!

Big up to the real budget trackday guys 👍 I ride a 2003 GPZ500S and take it to trackdays - ride there and back as well.

all about the corner speed, top notch mate love the vid...
DANG! Dragging Knee? NOPE! Just about Dragging hip! 👏
He was almost dragging his shoulder
Terrific video thanks! Makes a Melbourne Sunday in lockdown a bit interesting. Might take my GS out for some exercise now!
Awesome
Winner of the "F_ck off, I'll do you on the outside" award. Lol
You must have good 👍 experience in riding bro….I can see how you took your cornering…👍👍✅
Give back that corner...it wasn't your to take 🤣.....sorry ill leave
Typical battle of horsepower vs skill. They pass you on the straights you pass back in braking and cornering. Good stuff.
Top skills bro.Great cornering speed riding the hoops off her. Kudos for no f%4ks given
Funny, my gs500 doesn't do any of those things. Must be a different year. 🤣
