You're adorable. You are like Give a Mouse a Cookie. In this older video, you love everything (rightfully so) but 8 years on, pretty much everything is changed. You've made it your own. You've got the gift of vision and the eye of faith. How lucky that home and property were to get you as their family. Do you still have that big angel? I don't remember ever seeing it in your videos. It's impressive but maybe a bit funereal. You and Aaron are the best. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us.

Laura, I love seeing tours of your gardens because I share your taste in color - lots of purple, lavender, blues, especially those with pretty grey-green foliage... Red? Well, it has to be a really special red, and they do exist.
Now, about the caryopteris you showed. It is new to me and it has it all! Blue-green foliage, blue flowers, drought-tolerant, attracts pollinators, smells like eucalyptus - I must grow it. The ones I saw online have a more upright growth habit and yours in arching. Do you know the variety? I realize this video is over two years old; that's a long time to remember a detail like that.
Let me know if you know. Really enjoying watching your gardens evolve. Give Benjamin and Russell each a smooch from me. ~ Lisa

Laura, part 3 was wonderful! Since this garden tour was in 2016 and I just recently found you and Garden Answer, I'm excited to be seeing what the areas that you worked on THEN look like in now & in the future. Your home is gorgeous! I love all the windows and the history that is part of the house and gardens. Your ideas are exciting! Those wheels must be spinning non-stop! Do you even sleep much? It seems like you're in "high gear" all the time! You're an amazingly gifted and smart young woman, Laura. I look forward to learning more about you, Aaron and now I find out that you have a little boy, too!?!?! OMG! When was he born? What's his name? Please show us a picture or five! WOW! You must REALLY be Wonder Woman! Thank you very much for sharing your gardens, home & time with us! 💜

I know this is an old post, I've been watching your videos for quite some time and enjoying them. I don't want to be critical but I want to mention, in case you are not aware, that cats are not native to our country and so not a natural predator of our native birds, and they kill millions of songbirds a year. In some countries it is a real problem and steps are being taken to control the cat population. I know you truly love your cats and I enjoy watching them in your videos, they have quite the personality. Some people put bells on a cat's collar to warn the birds.

As an owner of an old house (1896) can I mention the need to keep the air vents clear to keep air circulation under the house.
