I feel terrible for the plaintiff. She's not finding any humor in this, and I don't blame her. The defendants are what JJ refers to as idiots! I'm saying full-blown certified idiots.
The city accidentally cut down a beautiful old tree on my sister's property. They had the wrong address. They were cutting down trees blocking utility lines. They had to replace the tree but my sister was just sick about it. There was no utility line near her tree!
I was once asked to transfer $ 1.00 Mx (equivalent to 5 cents in US dollar), to show that the money transfer system was working OK. And some very complex contracts, usually in the hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars demand that you present a third party bond for the amount of the punishment for not completing the contract, only payable if you indeed broke the contract.
Actually, the scammEE - regarding the $300 - are the defendants. Unfortunately, they destroyed the plaintiff's driveway and are responsible for fixing it or paying to have it fixed.
@@BasicYTHandleyes the scam here was paying a random person $300. The scammer couldn't have known the defendants would be stupid enough to start the job without checking who lived there 😂😂
These two guys got scammed for $300. The scammer picked an address out of thin air and told them that was the address for the PHONY JOB. But that does not absolve them of the fact that they were NOT hired by the property owner to replace her driveway.

When she tried to talk to them they jumped in their truck and sped off. Luckily, a neighbor got the business name on the truck. Turns out they were supposed to be doing work on the house down the block. She had to threaten them with court before they would fix her roof.😂
