There is a loneliness epidemic in the United States, and certainly in many other countries. Having healthy fulfilling relationships can mean the difference between life and death. Loneliness tells one there is something wrong, and it's upon them to explore ways to resolve this tension. I must say, however, that it's more than a choice. Everyone's life is so unique and different, and some lonely people may struggle with overwhelming problems that don't stand as serious obstacles in the ways of other lonely people. Some have had numerous instances of toxic relationships and have lost all trust in the future bringing them healthier ones. So they may rather choose to feel lonely than worse. Loneliness is also on a spectrum, with some suffering slightly from it from time to time, while others feel its excruciating pain every day, when if they happen to live in dense places like Manhattan. There is a lot of nuance here, but we shouldn't miss the foresr for the trees: loneliness is a great indicator something is wrong with a person's life, and it's like getting a diagnosis. One can know focus on the treatment. Even little actions, like greeting one's neighbor or doing a kind favor for a stranger at Walmart, may not only bring some sunshine into both of these people's days, but it can be a gateway to a potentially closer relationship. Who knows? There is only one way to find out.
I think the universe does understand karma. Hey, if I believe it right? Afterall, I am all powerful and all of you orbit my choice of vibration. Am I understanding correctly? Sorry... Thank you for the advice.
i agree somewhat but stop reading from a script, makes you look like a robot. im 49 YO, and have more to say about life than you and have done more than you can imagine, so be real and be respectful for those who cant do as much.
It's very devilish. I don't recommend it because it will destroy you. Are you Christian? I'm sorry if that's the case. There was a person in India called Buddha. He had it all: wealth, power, and social status. But I got tired of it and threw it all away. Then Buddha set out on a journey. Buddha went to many places and talked to many people. Then Buddha realized it. ``There is nothing in life.'' ``All people are worthless.'' Then he became a monk. And he died leaving his thoughts in poems. He is now treated as a god. life is Game.
"It is in your hands and within your power." - That's amazing! Thanks
Lovely. The door is always open regardless of us perceiving it or not. In this moment, every moment. Bless you.
I appreciate so much. This is not a challenge, but an opportunity to do the best you can. May God love you more!!!
Yeah, lonely is the word. Got to be the saddest song I've ever heard. ~ Black Sabbath (1980)
Great track from a great album.

Spot on remember to have hope and strive for being a good person requires karma, lying yang and selfhel!
I have had my periods of loneliness and have done a lot of the work you mentioned. You seem to be quite correct about the benefits of solitude!
I coined a phrase i didn't really think was too important until someone asked to "steal" it: "When you find yourself ALONE? You find YOURSELF."
So what's your body count?
I'm speechless. This hit home hard. Thank you for sharing with the community.

Bullshit, you've obviously never experienced true loneliness. It is a crushing experience that destroys consciousness, empathy, sanity and soul.
