been 5 months since you posted. how do you like the new bulbs? would you do these again or consider going to LED conversion? trying to decide if LED will yeild better light output vs the stock HID. Changing on a 2013 CX5 GT. thinking the process should be about the same.
Sorry I couldn’t get back to you sooner! You only twist the ballast connector, the silver cover off anti clockwise The removal of the bulb is edited out, my bad. Have another look at the installation part? It shows that you don’t twist the bulb, like you would for a halogen bulb. The bulb only goes straight in or out. No turning! It’s the wire clips on each side of the bulb that allows removal of the bulb. Watch the install part and see how you push the clip inward to the centre of the bulb, then forward to the front of the car. And finally outward to the fenders of the car. Now the bulb will probably just fall out. Hope this clears up any confusion.
Hi I saw u r video today I got the same issue to replace the driver side headlight bulb . I open the dust cover but can't be to able to get the bulb out . I twisted anti close but can't get the bulb . Any how to get that
