- Host Daniel Donskoy travels to different cities to meet exciting Jewish guests. Together they discuss and philosophize about the meaning of being Jewish. What is life like for Jews in London, Buenos Aires, Tel Aviv, and Istanbul?
In the evening, before hosting his guests, Daniel Donskoy explores the cities he visits: covered in oil from head to toe for a Turkish oil wrestling match in Istanbul, visiting Pride in Tel Aviv, or as the "Leader” on a double-decker bus in London. It is all about Jewish identities and stories, where you often don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Always playful and charming, Donskoy provides his various guests for the late-night show with home-cooked food and engaging questions. From an author, comedian, all the way to a rabbi, they talk about the reality of their Jewish lives. With such an intimate atmosphere, they open up right away in front of the camera.
In the first episode, Daniel Donskoy is in London to meet British comedian David Baddiel and Dana Margolin, singer of "Porridge Radio".

The Romani were persecuted first by the Muslim invasions in the 11th century. They kept moving east and north east into different lands. They mixed with the locals, and mixed their Hindu faith the local ones. Romani have had it rough for most of their lives.

They do that in the places where it makes sense to hear the original language.... like when he was imitating hitler's speech style but claiming germany to be a multicultural country. the parts that are left to hear the german is on purpose because hearin the german is part of the message at that time.

I am an immigrant from a tropical island in the Indian ocean who now lives in London(26 Years) and I like integrated Jewish people(not a fan of orthodox Jews. Not a fan of any orthodox kind for that matter). Some of my favorite physicists(Feynman, Einstein, Bohr, Pauli, Weinberg, Neumann) have Jewish heritage. I sometime wear a t-shirt which says Shalom to support of Jewish people in England and Europe. Live long and prosper lovely Jewish folks!

I used to live in Germany and I can say that I felt Jewish people's plight and the immense hatred towards foreigners Germans have, at least in my time there, was very obvious. Love from Kurdistan to Israel.
I only visited Berlin as a tourist, but during that time a Turk tried to sell me drugs. Might have something to do with it.
For a Church of England Englishman (ie. I only go to church at Xmas because the wife likes to dress up and belt out ‘Bread of Heaven’), I thought this was enlightening, entertaining and rather joyous.

I am more leaning-toward Dana progressive stand (maybe becuz she is also a millennial like me) but i do want to hear more about David. He lives in a different time and i fully understand why he has such strong conviction about Jewishness.
