I was writing my check for $7,000,000 when I realized that this place has no elevator! They would expect me to walk up and down stairs! So I tore up the check. For 7 million they could at least provide a servant to carry me up to my bedroom.

Once a New Yorker ALWAYS a New Yorker ❤ I went to visit my parents in CT. Someone came up behind me and grabbed my shoulder. I swirled around and slammed him with my purse. I then I kicked the family jewels and he fell down. Evidently I dropped something and he was returning it. He understood after I told him that I woke up at 3 AM and there were 3 men in my bedroom 😫

I just walked across this building today! Lots of restaurants due to multiple hospitals and med schools. Two townhouses are in the market on the same side of street. One of them is in market for at least a year!

How amazing I just looked at this property online yesterday!
FUN FACT: S2 E10 - of I Love Lucy, when Ethel asked Lucy what happened to her other shoe. She says "in the doorway of the lady at ### East 69th street". So I looked it up and I love that they converted the lower unit into a garage. I only wished I could see what the building would have looked like in the early 1950's when Lucy referenced it. It was built in the late 1880's.

Wow. I doormanned the building across the street from this place during the height of COVID. I used to bike to work all the time. Nice people for the most part in the area. Used to see all the nurses and doctors heading to and from the train at that 72nd St station making their way across to 1st Ave and York.

I think a housing crash will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.
I suggest you offset your real estate and get into stocks, A recession as bad it can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too. This is not financial advise but get buying, cash isn’t king at all in this time!
@@jamesvigor6409 Do you mind sharing info on the adviser who assisted you? been saving for pension since age 18 - company scheme. along the way I hit higher tax, so I added to my company pension with a SIPP (tax benefits) I'm 50 now and would love to grow my finance more aggressively, there are a few cars I still wish to drive, a few mega holidays, etc.
NYC real estate avg price dropped so hard during COVID. It's actually just recovering and plateauing now.

That first floor would be nothing but storage. Don’t know if I need an office in that area when I would have six bedrooms to pick from. This was a really cool property, thanks for showing it!

Wow ! …. Now this is how you would want to live in Manhattan. What an amazing townhouse. Incredible neighbourhood. The abstract “Art” definitely sets the mood in the right direction. Quality “top drawer” materials,appliances, fixtures…you name it. You gotta make a great sales pitch cuz at this price tag …you’re talking 2% to 3% of the market maybe. This is a very unique artistic townhouse. This townhouse can be converted into a museum with different galleries. I like the high-quality kitchen, all the fireplaces and the outdoor spaces. I didn't see the laundry room though.

I sat here for a good minute and looked at some of them paintings especially the tiger one the amount of things in that makes me want to keep looking lol usually when you notice a few things then a couple hidden things there are even more things basically a painting thats meant to have something new every time you look at it
You'd think with that price, there would be more closet space...like a walk-in closet.
I suspect anyone buying the house would use a wardrobe/armoire, probably antique, or they would have bespoke storage made for them.
Generally, if I wanted to spend $7 million… I would buy an incredible house with a whole bunch of land. But, I have to say that I love this place. i’m actually saving this video, for the day that I have a place built. Because I’m going to be copying quite a bit from this unit. Simply amazing. I don’t think they’re going to have any problem selling that very quickly. I think any Broadway/Hollywood actor/Director would eat that place up in a second. Considering Adam Sandler paid what? $100 million for his Trump Tower Place, which I’m sure it is gorgeous and huge… But he could’ve saved $93 million and bought this place. LoL.

Wow, this makes total sense now. A place like Trump Tower will not let intruders in but a place like this $7 million home is very risky.
@@ravemaster7405 not true. The man walks around by himself without security in New York City, eating a jar of pickles and playing basketball with anybody on one of the courts. Adam is not your normal Hollywood person. He is the same person he was before he got famous and rich. He just has a more carefree lifestyle, though I don’t even think that’s true, because of all the movies that he still writes, produces and stars in. Not to mention his kids and his beautiful wife and his family. he is a good example of a rounded good human being.
Guaranteed, if he’s in New York at his place… You could find him walking around. Just look for a guy eating a jar of pickles or go to one of the basketball courts near his building, and you will probably find him at some point during the day.

Unique home, cool art! Fun tour! LOL the "orange tomatoes" are Fuyu persimmons, yummy seasonal fruit, eat it skin & all like an apple while texture is firm or mushy, also good in baking. I agree with others here, for $7mil this place could use an elevator. I wonder how staggering the monthly utility costs would be? Nice neighborhood, love your videos :)

Love watching your videos and seeing the wide range of housing in NYC. But I have an anxiety attack every time I see a window that opens with no screen. I can picture my curious cats plummeting down to the sidewalk or a busy street. Even if they landed on their feet, it wouldn’t be pretty.
My fears exactly! I even put double screens on my 2nd floor apt when I lived on a busy street .

Well it certainly is interesting to see how the other half lives however, the general public would never be able to afford a place like this and I highly doubt that anyone who could afford it would be checking out RUclips to find a place to live! Love that big red oven though, I can just see me heating up my little cornish hen in it 🤣😂
The area is home to quite a few “big” hospitals. Maybe a seasoned doctor/surgeon could enjoy.
The Patsy’s is meh, Lil Beet is great and the locals love the Panda Express 😂
