Pull them together, then raise your legs straight up, you’ll slam him. I’m no martial artist, but I’ve done this a couple times, and it works. You don’t gotta be super strong even for heavier guys, because even if you aren’t slamming dude, you’re atleast lifting him enough to drop him on his back.

@Disgruntled Simp Mod lol sit down bro. There are dozens of ways to advance position here. Your class was not teaching you to survive a street fight, they were teaching you to chain together moves to win a jits match. He had the back in a street fight and your answer is to commit to a single leg. The smart thing to do is to keep the back and disengage. Not to engage in a takedown in a public area. If you single leg my friend, I'm soccer kicking your head to give you a flappy neck. Do not confuse your class with surviving a street encounter. What keeps you safe on the mat doesnt keep you safe from bystanders. ..also chill on the big boy talk. No need to tell people they are "doing it wrong" because your dumb ass is doing it wrong for a fact. Go clean your white belt
@Disgruntled Simp Mod dunno y he wouldnt go for takedown once taking single leg though. And also this isn’t very realistic. In bjj it doesnt take into account that your opponent will be punching you in that position and whilst sparring in bjj even you have to watch out for them going for takedown or switching to better position so to assume someone will just stay in this position if very positive thinking, and if they pull like half guard with that headlock, you can get some hits in but they will have ground control to turn you and possible get mount or your back depending on which leg is trapped. Unless the dude choking you is doing nothing but holding you there or going for a bulldog choke in that position, it’s not the best position to be in. If he’s not doing anything you can easily get a suplex on him as well. Or a judo throw. But resisting opponent especially if he’s trained as well won’t just be looking to maintain that position in that way and it won’t be so easy to get out if he puts up said resistance or goes on the offensive as described above or in other ways.
Getting him off like that, with him facing you and still standing, I'd worry that it would give him opportunity to follow up with strikes. A headlock defense I prefer from that position is to reach around his back with my right arm, thread my right hand through the crook of his right arm and hook and control his right arm at the crook of his elbow (this is not only a point of leverage, but also stops him from disengaging the headlock to strike you). Then I block behind his left knee with my left palm, take a half circle step backwards with my right leg, while pulling my right arm back, and he goes down. If he holds onto the headlock, the worse that happens is you end up in side control, at which point you can position the underside of your forearms on his face and ribs, arch your back and look to the sky, and the leverage plus pain will break the headlock, and position you to either follow up with side control, armbar, strikes or just get up and run away.
No freakin way. It looks nice on paper but that headlock is going to be tight and he’s not letting go because of a shiver. Taking him back to the ground and you getting on top would be the better move. And if he didn’t let go of the headlock, you would still be on top and in control. This is simple wrestling 101 for the street.

Base yourself. By dropping your weight keeping that right knee there behind his left leg...get your right hand over his left shoulder and under his neck pull up and back....ensure you have control of tht right hand between the biceps and forearm while turning into the direction that you're moving his head. Very efficient and safe...you can finish or have enough time to deal with another opponent if that's the case.
I can't say that technique works or not. I have no experience about that. But the problem is that the attacker can easily punch his face while he tries to free himself. He can even put a finger into his eye. So first of all he should protect his face and then he can try to apply any technique. Actually, there is something I remember from aikido classes about strangling or choking. I know it's a very poor martial art in real fight but this can be useful. In the moment when you feel that someone is grabbing your head, put your head down, your chin has to touch your chest. Than your attacker can't grab you properly and you can still breath. I mean he can't grab you properly immediately. He'll need some time to do that. So you are buying yourself time to do something. I don't know what because I doubt that aikido technique I learnt could work (and I haven't practise it for years) but still you get at least a couple of seconds. Because when someone grabs you and chokes you, you can't breath and you lose yourenergy and strength very quickly.

Stamp on top of the foot with everything you have also would work. Footwear dependant on the attacker. Lots of little bones that are easily broken. We train for that.
Also after grabbing the leg like you did keep your head on his chest or stomach and fall backwards with force so the guy can slam his head on the ground then mount him after that
Remember in a street fight the person most willing to do extreme violence against the other will survive, techniques are useless unless you can do them without thinking, just natural instinct
That’s not getting the headlock off, he will fall with you in the lock and hole you there, even when you pass to mount you will not be able to pull your head out if he is strong.

He has the safer position and gives it up for a neutral position. Not to be a dick but this is a low IQ choice.
Seems a lot more legit than Detroit Urban Survival Tactics.
No way that we'll work in realty!
I got into one of those in a street fight i tried breaking up, but the lad misjudged and thought i was attacking his mate. I wound up on the ground on my knees, still in the headlock. I remember thinkin im about to pass out soon if i don't do anything. Got my arm closest to him around his back/waist and then just hit him in the stomach with the other, three times and then he let leg go and was laying on his back gasping for air. Not sure if i were just lucky to hit the sweet spot, but it sure worked!
You’re not going to hurt your back. Thrust up and slam backward. 70% chance to ko opponent. Once on ground turn into him
So shoot a single and run the pipe?
They’re usually already pulling you over in a hip toss, not pulling you down.
That looks good 👍
Stamp on top of the foot with everything you have also would work. Footwear dependant on the attacker. Lots of little bones that are easily broken. We train for that.
Dumbest suggestion I have heard…
@@wickywills Good chat dude. What form of self defence or martial arts do you do by the way?
If he’s 110kg and maybe a street fighter and you’re 65kg and are just a nobody will this still work?
Great technique!!
This dude looks like the real deal. I'm subscribing right now lol
Buddy drop always a solid option like this one because you can stay on your feet beautiful🤙
This can work if you are almost the same weight of your opponent. What if your weight are less?
Also after grabbing the leg like you did keep your head on his chest or stomach and fall backwards with force so the guy can slam his head on the ground then mount him after that
If the headlock is locked as it shuld, it wont work. You're only gonna really heart your back and he will heart your face
Much amazing.
Good job , it's very good for street fight
" sir this is Wendy's "
Better to kick the leg after you have the leg in your arms. You could rule on the guy as well, forward role will break the headlock, many times.
works only if he bare holds u lol (tried it xd)
Great info thank you for sharing!
Remember in a street fight the person most willing to do extreme violence against the other will survive, techniques are useless unless you can do them without thinking, just natural instinct
dope move never seen it like that💯
If you put me in a headlock you will receive 145 grains of jacketed hollow point
this fella is legit legit
That’s not getting the headlock off, he will fall with you in the lock and hole you there, even when you pass to mount you will not be able to pull your head out if he is strong.
