Grace is truely such an intelligent person. I think it is almost unfortunate that we now have to mention privilege so many times. She deserves to give herself more credit for the impact that she as an individual had in creating companies and money from nothing but her basic skill set in the beginning. There are so many people that are raised in "privilege" and don't do as many, if any of these wonderous things. It's almost used as an excuse now to not celebrate the success someone has had if they come from privilege. There are so many things impact you as an individual like your life experiences, the way you are raised, the decisions you make and the effort you put in. People almost act like privilege protects people from trauma or suffering yet that is where so much growth of a person occurs.
I agree with your respect of Grace, she's amazing. But I think the point with privilege is that even IF you are as intelligent, hard-working courageous etc etc, you may not find yourself in the same position because of a lack of privilege. Also what defines "privilege". The measure is different from person to person. I am not suggesting that it is not a factor, nor am I suggesting that she/we should stop recognising it. But that definition of privilege is flawed. We should not be comparing individuals positions or measure them on a level of success if we aren't them ourselves. Which is what you are suggesting. After all, everyones measure of success if different, we all have independent journeys. It was the beginning of her career and the choices that she made to build it further that counts. The thing that Ms. Beverley said that in the beginning of her vlogging period she just posted what she was eating or doing like normal day to day chores , and that it added no value to people's life but still they r watching and mentions it as beings privileged and popular . But i dont think it works that way , cause it can be a great company to some people struggling due to heavy work flow or procrastination flow , by seeing someone doing bare minimums in their life , it can work as a spark for them to get started or Sometimes people want to be bored watching someone else doing their chores, and it works for many people as calming their thoughts and be away from their life for small amount of time. So vlogs are not that worthless as it seems to not add any improvements to the viewers lives, but its helps them in a way you can't guess. No one actually talks about how to acquire clients. Anyone can start a business. It's actually selling which is the challenge. Of course the product or service needs to solve a problem, however how does one acquire clients in markets like fashion? or food? Markets which are heavily saturated

Her claims of getting scholarships etc as if this was needed to get into her schools is INCREDIBLY misleading, her parents could probably buy a wing for the school and let her in. Another riches to riches story pretending to be something they're not. Fleecing a young fanbase for money with claims of helping the environment.

Did you listen to the podcast? I’ve literally agreed with you on my background. I OPENLY talk about it and how important it is in contextualising my success. I go above and beyond to do this because I think it’s SO important. However, saying I “never had to work” as if you have these indisputable facts is so reaching, and actually far more misleading. Do you see my siblings with matching houses to mine? Or businesses that required huge funds to start? Or other people who had far more money than I did at the schools I went to in my position now? While it may be true that she didn’t necessarily need to, the truth is that she did get one which at The University of Oxford is EXTREMELY difficult to get. 2. The reason it is creepy is because he has extremely intricate knowledge about her and is hating on her. That is the definition of a creepy stalker. 3. If you’ve ever run a business, you would know that immense amounts of work go into it. It doesn’t matter how much money her parents had. Sure, maybe she never had a risk of becoming homeless, but it is VERY clear that from an early age, she has had a fantastic work ethic - something that most people lack.
You sound extremely jealous which is not a good look. Not sure if you've listened to the whole podcast but she's literally said so much how privileged she is to be able to be in the position she is today. Quite a few comments about her being privileged here indicating you heard her but didn't listen. If you listened but thought she waffled , its called heaving a thought and giving explanation behind it. I know it would have been easier for her to come here with bullet points and make it a 15 minute conversation, but you could also make the effort to read here book...its all about options

I hope the average person watching this also understands the absolute privilege that Grace has had growing up. She comes from generational wealth (her grandfather went to Eton and was a close friend of Margaret Thatcher). Grace herself went to private schools all her life (including a private nursery) - so of course she has been able to create a successful business. She’s had a leg up, and it’s NEVER acknowledged. I also just find her message of ‘working hard, hardly working’ just tone deaf and unreachable for the average person. Normal people who don’t come from incredible wealth have to work hard to get things - but how tf would Grace know coming from an upper class privileged position? Stop patting rich people on the back for being rich.
Can Donna not move to the south for university? That could be a life changer I don't think it's entirely true that all of wealth and ops are in the south, maybe the best ones are but people in the North can still make impact!

Oxford University is a bit of a giveaway of her privileged background. Her family is old money and she grew up in a wealthy area of London. Her story is not really inspiring once you research her background and the fact that she has a trust fund. She has some good takeaways but keep in mind the the enourmous head start she got to become successful.

Grace's grandad is Sir Nigel Broakes, a literal multi-millionaire and figure in business and politics who left many millions to her parents through which Grace has benefitted incredibly (obviously) Growing up with multi millionaire parents with incredible connections, she had a built in safety net and never had to work. Her claims of getting scholarships etc as if this was needed to get into her schools is INCREDIBLY misleading, her parents could probably buy a wing for the school and let her in. Another riches to riches story pretending to be something they're not. Fleecing a young fanbase for money with claims of helping the environment.
Bro, why are such a hater? I'm sure it's true that she had wealthy parents but she is an incredibly hard working individual and her business, Tala, is a very smart business which will appeal to a very large target market and will ACTUALLY have a positive effect. You can't talk about having positive effect when you are writing creepy hate comments like this. Grow up!

Did you listen to the podcast? I’ve literally agreed with you on my background. I OPENLY talk about it and how important it is in contextualising my success. I go above and beyond to do this because I think it’s SO important.
However, saying I “never had to work” as if you have these indisputable facts is so reaching, and actually far more misleading. Do you see my siblings with matching houses to mine? Or businesses that required huge funds to start? Or other people who had far more money than I did at the schools I went to in my position now? Nope, you don’t. You see a PDF business that publicly made huge amounts of money off of a platform started from just social media. I’m not up myself, but you can’t deny my work.
I have pretty much every privilege under the sun and will shout it from the fucking rooftops, but I’m unclear on how else you’d like me to talk about my career other than the way I do? Literally listen to this episode to hear me disclaim everything to the point of virtue signalling.
This is SUCH an easy comment to leave, but let me know how you’d rather I talk about my work without unbirthing myself to make you feel more comfortable. Genuinely, have a think and let me know, because you getting this pressed and needing to Wikipedia copy paste everything I’ve already said can’t be nice for you ✌🏼

1. The comment claims that she did not earn a scholarship. While it may be true that she didn’t necessarily need to, the truth is that she did get one which at The University of Oxford is EXTREMELY difficult to get.
2. The reason it is creepy is because he has extremely intricate knowledge about her and is hating on her. That is the definition of a creepy stalker.
3. If you’ve ever run a business, you would know that immense amounts of work go into it. It doesn’t matter how much money her parents had. Sure, maybe she never had a risk of becoming homeless, but it is VERY clear that from an early age, she has had a fantastic work ethic - something that most people lack.
You sound extremely jealous which is not a good look. Not sure if you've listened to the whole podcast but she's literally said so much how privileged she is to be able to be in the position she is today. Unfortunately that is life, people cannot chose the parents they are born into. But that doesn't erase all the hard work she's put in and you cannot belittle her efforts just because her family has money. In fact sometimes it's harder to really get out your comfort zone and take risks and start a business because why would you when you've already got money? I respect her more that she's achieved what she's done rather than just going to Ibiza and partying her whole life like a lot of rich kids do. Maybe you should channel that negativity into something more useful!
I love this podcast but the audio mix really need to be better. And this one almost felt over edited in terms of cutting. Great episode, but the audio mix is the one thing the I always notice on just about ever episode.

Quite a few comments about her being privileged here indicating you heard her but didn't listen. If you listened but thought she waffled , its called heaving a thought and giving explanation behind it. I know it would have been easier for her to come here with bullet points and make it a 15 minute conversation, but you could also make the effort to read here book...its all about options
We all hear her and listened because she said some of what we said. To not talk about the hard work is understandable since it takes other factors to be successful.

What about taxes?
I hope the average person watching this also understands the absolute privilege that Grace has had growing up. She comes from generational wealth (her grandfather went to Eton and was a close friend of Margaret Thatcher). Grace herself went to private schools all her life (including a private nursery) - so of course she has been able to create a successful business. She’s had a leg up, and it’s NEVER acknowledged. I also just find her message of ‘working hard, hardly working’ just tone deaf and unreachable for the average person. Normal people who don’t come from incredible wealth have to work hard to get things - but how tf would Grace know coming from an upper class privileged position? Stop patting rich people on the back for being rich.
She’s addressed her privilege multiple times and her being able to sell 350k fitness pdfs has nothing to do with private school or her upbringing
I've watched this for 36 minutes and she has mentioned her privilege at least 6 times and her family background twice. Have you even watched this?

Oxford University is a bit of a giveaway of her privileged background. Her family is old money and she grew up in a wealthy area of London. Her story is not really inspiring once you research her background and the fact that she has a trust fund.
She has some good takeaways but keep in mind the the enourmous head start she got to become successful.
