  • There's no cold remedy quite like chicken soup. In this episode of Yan Can Cook, Martin takes the healing properties of chicken soup to the next level with his wonderful chicken soup with ginseng. Ginseng is said to improve your metabolism and vascular system. Martin also claims it can add spice to your love life, but we don't know about that.
Next up, Martin demonstrates how to make sizzling ginger oysters (6:57) and then "knocks his boots off" with an assortment of Chinese wine (12:42). He combines two separate prawn dishes to create his special Lover's prawns recipe (15:23).
For dessert, Martin whips up champagne melon ball (22:07), made with fresh fruit, syrup, ginger, and champagne.

There’s a Korean dish very similar to this, except it’s a whole chicken stuffed with rice. Also has ginseng as one of the main ingredients.
