    Very good video and nice camera work. I did not read all the posts but want to make one minor comment. I have the same bike rack but I noted you did not install the safety machine screws near the ends of the crossbars to prevent the tire holders from sliding off when no bike is installed. Also in my instruction those screw holes should be facing down. In your video they are facing up. Again a very minor point and I think you did a great job on the video... thanks.

    That seems like a good way to carry bikes, I wonder if I could open the back of my jeep with that rack on there with it tilted down ???? I use a swing out thule rack it works well but I think that one you have does a better job to limit movement of the e bikes. when you going to visit Vanvouver BC and ride with me? I think it would flip down enough to open your Jeep, and if not the do have hitch extensions so you could have it sit out from the Jeep a couple more inches if needed.. I need to work on my passport, I was born in the Netherlands live in the United States and have lost my birth certificate so it's going to take some doing but I definitely something I am working on I want to come to Canada and ride.. thanks for the comment....

    My Thule T2 Pro broke in a fender bender, I'm thinking about replacing it with this. I think one major advantage of this one (other than cost) is that maybe the back up camera will actually work, but on the other hand, it seems to be simpler to put a bike on the Thule rather than this from what I see in the video.

    Great Idea to cover your license plate, I have an outstanding warrant for my arrest too!
    BIM9739 but you left it uncovered at the end. 🙄🙄

    What do you use as far as security locks to stop the bad guys?

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  5 лет назад

      for the bike has keys for it so you can lock so they can't unscrew the hooks and then I just run a cable through everything whenever we stop somewhere

    Nice video - very straightforward and complete. Suggestion: When you slide the wheel trays on, if you put the front one on first on the right, put the rear one on first on the left. That way, the bikes are staggered. As you did it in the video, the trays on the back (closest to the car) force the ones on the front (nearest to you) closer together.

      I have learned that over the time of using the rack. I am sure others will read this , thanks for the tip

    I don't think this will work with real full size fat bikes like the Kona Wozo would it ?

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  5 лет назад

      I don't see why it would not work. It will hold tires over 5 inches wide, and will fit about any frame .
