- Huge surprise at the scrapyard today when we delivered a nice haul of steel - the prices are way up! And we showed up at the perfect time! Makes sense to make the most of it, so we headed out and filled up a second load. Even found some unexpected treasures. Nice day dumpster diving and scrap metal recycling!

15 years? I’ve been doing it a year and there’s not much left to learn, even Drake here said I seem to have this game figured out. If you haven’t got the hang after 15 years, I would say try something different. This is not a deep, complex bit. 🤷🏻♂️
Central valley of California its 6cents a pound for scrap iron. At another yard in Modesto Cali pays more but you have come back 3 days later either for cash or check. Its a pain ass here.
@@vincedibona4687 damn bro go lite. Every area is different. My yards dont accept appliances. Also our yards pay 3 days later. Especially Canada where there laws change as quick as ours. Stuff gets re sorted weekly because some refinery wants it part their buy when theyelt that metal. Some thinga change often so got keep IP with game. And price changes are hard keep track as they can little change in hrs. At 8am can be 12cents then noon hits it 8cents. Just how market is rn.

When ever I take my metal washer and dryers to scrap yard they always give me tin prices for it. Am I being robbed or do things like that fall under the tin umbrella? Thank you
No, tin price is fair. Washers always have a big counterweight that is often concrete, so if anyone is getting robbed it ain’t you 👍

You should keep a piece of plywood in the truck bed that fits the back that folds down so you can put it in place to raise the height so you can for more in the bed.

Unfortunately it turned out it was missing a spring. Not that it can’t be used that way, just harder to sell and there are a lot of them for cheap all the time

tin went up from 240 - 300 here to combat crazy gas price. Don't force your tailgate handle and put a towel or old jacket on top your truck next time. Nice load

Normal price at the scrap yard in Toronto I go to is about 13 cent when he said normal 8 cents I was like ur getting ripped off

I just cashed in all my scrap yesterday and I saw about an hour later that today and tomorrow they are doing a special and shred will be $250 a gross ton witch is about 11 cents. Instead of the .095 I just got. I would of made an extra $8 bucks.

Yup prices are on the rise. Ukrainian farmers are making top money on russian tanks and there's plenty of them lying around although each tank has kind of spread over a wide area.
Shame about the tailgate handle. Just takes some thing like that or a flat tire off a bit of metal at the yard to spoil the say and wipe out any profits but sensible to get an upgrade. Buy cheap- buy twice.
