I’ve been going on hikes every week this summer when I can and it’s made a huge difference in my mental health and quality of life. The exercise and the time in nature are both great.
Thank you for always giving us prices. I use to spend $50 on a eyeshadow pallets that I never finish. So $30 for something that’s beneficial is a yes for me. You have transformed my night and morning routine and someone complemented me the other day that my face always looks so moisturized. I was so happy 😁
How I would love to getaway to a park like that! I work two jobs… seven days a week… I’ll finally have a day off in 26 days when it’s vacation time! I’m working like a dog to get to retirement, so in the meantime I live vicariously through others. Thanks for the trip to the park, Dr. Dray! Happy Sunday!
Your skin is so tolerant of so many different products and ingredients! You are truly blessed! Thanks for all the product reviews and help you provide 💜
I enjoy your outings so much. I also enjoy your day to day chats as you cook or make coffee. There is something so calming about rituals of everyday life. Thank you for your lovely videos.
Happy Sunday Dr. Dray! - this was awesome. Thank you for taking us onthat walk, it is so beautiful there….but I was a little worried you being alone and it seemed very quiet. 🫣 I hope you had some pepper spray in the back pocket! Have an awesome day. 💞
I remember when you were an outsider if you were addicted to social media. All my friends had MySpace, but we still very much lived in the real world. We would barely update our profiles. We had an online presence but our lives didn’t revolve around it. Now it seems people can’t do anything without updating social media about it.
LOL I’m definitely in the minority not addicted to social media. I watch a handful of fun+informative channels on RUclips, related to my needs and interests, and that’s it. I occasionally scroll Instagram but never post. I haven’t been on Facebook/Meta for 2 yrs and I don’t have TikTok or any of the others. I do have a smartphone though.
You can literally just use your hands to peel off or just gently push the skin away on a boiled taro root just like with sweet potatoes, Dr. Dray. Lol. I'm Filipino, so we call them "ubé" (pronounced "ooh-beh") and we love mixing them with butter, milk powder and sugar to make "halayang ube." So yummy!! You can substitute your favorite vegan versions of the dairy products, of course. But you can then put the halayang ube on just about anything like you would with jam or apple butter and such sweet condiments.
Thank you for this suggestion! I love taro but I also don’t know how to prepare it. So thanks for sharing an ube recipe as well as a bit of Filipino cuisine!!! I’ll try it when I can get some ube!
Happy Sunday, everyone! In answer to your question, yes, the color green of the water did come thtough in the video.☺ The pond you passed also was a beautiful blue, maybe reflection of the sky. You have beautiful parks in Houston. Have a wonderful day!

What a pretty park. I'm surprised there weren't any people out enjoying it. As a big nature lover that seems sad to me. The Indian grocery store had some interesting items. Glad to hear you still like the Cerave cleansing balm. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! Hope you have a blessed evening. 💖
The glasses ! Yes! They look adorable on you Dr.Dray. I’ve said it before and here I am again. Anyways , Thank you for all your advice. You’re the best! 💕
I was more worried about a crazy person jumping out at you than a gator 🐊 lol The CeraVe 💯 needs a scoop. And it does smell like butter 😆 But it’s my new fav balm, and I don’t like to double cleanse so that says a lot. Thanks for the rec Dr Dray. Enjoyed the editing and music selection too. Happy Sunday! 😎
I love these videos! I found myself not wanting to go outside because of the sun. Even though I wear sunscreen, I found myself still wanting to avoid the sun anyways. This was good for me to see even a dermatologist going outside and enjoying the natural. I need to stop being afraid of the sun haha
Dear DrDray, Thank you for taking us to the beautiful Art Museum!!! Also always enjoy and appreciate trips to stores and exotic grocers♥️ Your trips to conferences and restaurants are amazing 🤩 It was great to see the well kept park and the multiple turtles😀🌲⭐️🕊
Yes, our family gave money to the city my mom lived in. The city appreciated the money and the trees were added to the city park. A bench will be added once the trees are more mature. The few trees they had were pretty scraggly so I hope they have better luck with these.
Congratulations on having 1.66 million subscribers. Just goes to show how many people were starving to be educated on all the facial products on the market. Including myself. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It’s very much appreciated.
As far as cleansing balms go, I've found Clinique's Take The Day Off is the bomb! The container is bigger, and your make up slides off. No tugging at the delicate eye area. It's the best one I've come across
The Latino music reminds me of my childhood weekend mornings when doña Sonia (my neighbors) blasted her dancing music while she cleans the house. She would also dance with the broom or mop.
Hi Dr. Dray! Bittermelon is a very acquired taste (cuz it’s bitter lol) but there are tons of ways to prepare it. You can make it as soup, stir fry it, steam it, etc. Hope you get a chance to try them!
Yes, it is bitter:) I refused to eat it growing up & still stay away. It's got great health properties... so my mom cooks a spicy version & enjoys it. It can be juiced & is known to help reduce blood sugar levels. Check out some cooking videos, try with caution🙂
I live in the country and walk daily on our property. Always with sunscreen and my sun hat. The only app I look at most days is my step counter. Glad you got outside it really makes me feel better!
I’m curious about the water at the park too! When I lived in Arizona I learned many of the lakes were reclaimed water, which is basically grey water from the surrounding communities.
Loved the intro song 💃 JAJAJAJAJA I’m mexican I love your videos, my skin is so much better but also you are super interesting and smart I love to see you and hear you talk about anything, I want to be like you, you are a great person ✨✨

Been using licorice root lately too & loving it. Thanking you, Dr. Dray for all of those recommendations along w/ your fun and informative videos.
Haven't been to Oyster park in a few months. Think I'll go now. I recommend going to Brazos Bend State Park and walk around 40 acre lake. Lots of gators.
Happy Sunday Dr Dray another great video. Oyster Park is just beautiful. My husband and are little dog Addison just love going on a nice walk. We try and go on different trails. We have many different trails around. Our city is considered a “ green” city or I think the majority of use try. Only one trail I love it but I don’t like that the bikes are allowed to go on the walk trails. They zip by so fast just on step in or out and a person could get seriously hurt. But most of our trails have bike ways walk ways and dog or no dog parts of these trails. Most are dogs allowed on leash.
Thank you for sharing Dr. Dray, I have sun allergy which sucks, and literally will not go outside without sunscreen but every chance that I do get I appreciate what the outdoors has to offer additionally I agree with the whole social media control thing
Another choice that's a gentle daily exfoliator is Neutrogena Skin perfecting 7% AHA/PHA Blend+ HA which you can get on Amazon. I have moderate rosacea and this doesn't irritate my skin in fact I'm thinking of switching to the one for normal skin with 9% blend because my skin has acclimated to the 7% which is great for dry sensitive skin. My skin is ready for the next level for sure 😊
I used to have cheeseburger and fries when I couldn't decide on what to eat. I wouldn't say I was addicted to McDonald's, but I used to eat there at least once a week. I stopped eating due to health reasons, and now that I'm okay and can eat there again, I've found that I really didn't miss anything because it tastes terrible. Quitting it is not as hard as it feels once you realize how bad the food is.

Can't help but wonder how polar derm recommendations go nowadays: from "Whatever the brand claims never ever use any acid daily, let alone twice a day" to "Yes, you can use it if you're skin can tolerate it". I know that not even science is black&white (into science myself for almost 30 years), but having huge platforms (not talking about only this one in particular, but many of them) makes one genuinely wonder: What's really going on? All the best. Always have in mind that each skin is unique, like DNA, and that each individual's skin changes due to numerous factors, would be, at least, considerate and professional not to both, deliver generic advice, nor take online platforms as an instant 'expert given'. 🙌 P. S. I came across a select few online derms explicitly answering many of the questions asked: "I cannot say anything. I haven't seen you and checked your skin." Huge respect to those select few !🙌♥️
I, also, had the sensation of being in a rainforest. A nice sensation. Ty. And ty for reminding us to get out and enjoy our surroundings. Also, where did you get your cute hat?

Boy is it surprising how green everything is there. We live 1 1/2 hours west of San Antonio and it is so dry, that no one has grass. We are desperate for water. I was so jealous of your clouds and green foliage. Our creeks, that have never been dry around where we live since we’ve been here, are dry creek beds. Wells are going dry. So it was like a fairy tale seeing all that green. I loved it. It is funny how different both sides of Texas are. Thank you for the video.
I just started using cerave sa cleanser cuz I had tiny bumps and it brought it all to the surface overnight. I’m on my second day and am looking very textured for now. Crazy how fast it works.
I remember when Paula’s choice wasn’t so expensive. Their prices are ridiculous now. I remember paying like $20 for the bha exfoliating liquid a few years ago
Woohoo Stafford!! My home!! I walk at Oyster Creek / Lost Creek park 4-5 times a week. I love it, everyone is so friendly, we all say hello 👋🏻 lol. They’ll be having another Food Truck Friday / Movie Night (huge outdoor screens) Aug 12 from 6-9 pm. Really interesting food trucks, all different kinds of food. Not particularly healthy tho 😂
Thanks for the alternative suggestion to Paula's Choice 2%! I've been using Paula's Choice for about 22+ years and it's nice to find another brand that will save me some money!🌻

or as a salad! wash thoroughly and slice it lengthwise, carve out the white innards with a spoon. slice crosswise according to your taste, salt it and leave it alone for some time; then drain the liquid. add tomatoes and sliced red onions and black pepper. and voila! it's refreshing specially if refrigerated before serving.

I 💜 the Glossier Brow flick & Boy Brow ✨
I just started using cerave sa cleanser cuz I had tiny bumps and it brought it all to the surface overnight. I’m on my second day and am looking very textured for now. Crazy how fast it works.
I remember when Paula’s choice wasn’t so expensive. Their prices are ridiculous now. I remember paying like $20 for the bha exfoliating liquid a few years ago

Love the intro music 👍
Woohoo Stafford!! My home!! I walk at Oyster Creek / Lost Creek park 4-5 times a week. I love it, everyone is so friendly, we all say hello 👋🏻 lol. They’ll be having another Food Truck Friday / Movie Night (huge outdoor screens) Aug 12 from 6-9 pm. Really interesting food trucks, all different kinds of food. Not particularly healthy tho 😂
For some reason, "being trapped under the pants" made me laugh! Loved the park, since I live in the desert with zero water anywhere.
Thanks for the alternative suggestion to Paula's Choice 2%! I've been using Paula's Choice for about 22+ years and it's nice to find another brand that will save me some money!🌻
great music - sounds like the Buena Vista Social Club?
Dr. Dray approved hair loss add! How cool is that?!!
🤣 Your thumbnail 🤣 Like the movie, hahah What is that sound at 10:53? Anyone know? Some kind of water bird? We have it here too 🤔 I bet the 🐢 are hanging around the bridge bc people feed them 🐢💗
I love ❤️ the Paulas Choice BHA
I go for two walks every day one in the early morning 3 miles again just before dark 3 miles........ I can't function without my walks
It is a good habit 👍🏼

Thanks for watching
or as a salad! wash thoroughly and slice it lengthwise, carve out the white innards with a spoon. slice crosswise according to your taste, salt it and leave it alone for some time; then drain the liquid. add tomatoes and sliced red onions and black pepper. and voila! it's refreshing specially if refrigerated before serving.
We have Ahmad tea in Kuwait, their Earl Grey is my favorite!
