i havent been able to watch all your videos but i just bought my first set of forged wheels. what do you recommend for getting all the brake dust off them before polishing them?
Honestly, I bought a set of ceramic dustless brake pads and haven't had an issue with brake dust since. But I always recommend washing them with soap and water every other week depending on how much you drive and the area you live
@thekolbyward yeah ive thought about switching pads. I just got new front pads but I don't know what they used. my passenger side wheel bearing locked up had it towed and fixed. I always wash it when I get home and before I leave then I get to west tx and it sits for two weeks until I go home again
I saw a product like this at a drag race but didn’t want to carry it around all day at the drags they put it on pop cans and old beer kegs etc and they shines like a mirror so how does this work on old oxidized aluminum ? Thanks
I haven’t tried it yet but that’s a good video idea I’m going to do here soon on some older oxidized wheels or something
wheels are sick man, time for some big boy brakes on there now though. suprised at how well the spray on cleaner worked

You basically used the stuff on just water spots. Why don’t you try it on something that actually need some cleaning.
Did you not listen in the video? I clearly stated that they only had water spots and I was testing the polish out on if it took out the water spots LOL

Shouldn’t you wash the wheels first before doing that? In case you catch something in the cloth and scratch your rim?
You could have washed them. They weren’t but a week old nor had they been rode on since I had them mounted so I wanted to see how it would come out with having been only rained on. The terry cotton cloth was brand new and won’t scratch the aluminum. In the future yes I would 100% wash them and then do this process though!
@@thekolbyward right on bro, is it better to hand polish with a terry cloth first then wipe with a microfiber? Or microfiber can be used hand polishing and wiping off?
Could have got the same result with a simple wash job that polish can’t even clean up mild oxidation

Yes I polish wheels every day and I know that that polish is worth a shit and I know a week old fuckin wheel is going to look good in the shade
