My problem is when clicking the remote play to make an invite - it does nothign and no window shows up to invite them. even when right clicking them to join that way - the window to activate controllers to other people doesn't show.

So the problem I have is me and my friend are trying to play Madness: Project Nexus and I start the remote play, he can see the screen and everything and that tab where it says our inputs it says he has no input even though he is on controller

Steam remote play is the biggest pile of trash. Works half the time, and the other time it's just infuriatingly inconsistent. Issues loading, huge lag spikes, controllers not being recognised. I'm also using Ethernet and have a 500mb internet.
