Casey is absolutely right. I made this mistake two times, once with my ex-wife and again with a former gf who I loved, but eventually had to break up with her. My current gf is a decent person, but she has no idea where I stand. I've already broken up with her once, and advised her we were on a dating break until she resolved a deal and promise she made and broke (she resolved it immediately after a few months of BS.) I've had plenty of experience with lots of women over my life and am twice Caseys age. There are no black and white answers to most of these topics. Some women hate having to compete for you/your attention, other women crave it and some women are indifferent. You never know how individual women will react and a lot of the time you'll be surprised.
Never underestimate how much attention these harlots are getting on a daily basis so even if they're really into you, they still have plenty of options (or at least they think they do) so they won't spend as much time chasing you as they would've before social media existed. Most modern women live in cuckoo land and have multiple men who they 'chat' to and fantasize about in different ways. They never end up in committed relationships with these men, the fantasy is what they crave the most and social media has allowed them to live out this fantasy. It's much more 'exciting' for them to be talking to multiple men and imagining what life would be like with each of them in different ways than being in a routine relationship where they have to see their man on a daily basis. Women crave mystery, excitement, adventure and spontaneity.
Being in long term committed relationships and having families requires a lot of effort, compromise, responsibility, respect and above all loyalty/faithfulness. Modern women just aren't geared up for any of that.
I think there's just a lot of confusion nowadays as most western men don't live in a Christian worldview anymore, all men need to have is a life plan in masculine frame and figure out how she fits into his world as long as it's on your own terms. As someone with a traditional masculine Christian worldview I already know how to carry myself and how I'm supposed to be making decisions in a relationship.

The man I'm with, during the beginning of our relationship told me. "I cannot promise you commitment " even when I "tested" him and told him I think we need to stop because I don't want to suffer. He exposed me all the points to why it could be a mistake for me to leave while still saying that he could not promise a commitment. I accepted, eventually 2 months after, I asked if we were in a relationship, we were behaving like one. He said "ok I guess we are". Take your time.
What did it do to you that he said that he wasn't sure if he could commit to you? Did you feel like you had to step up in anyway to make him commit? Or did you reconsider your options and looked for potential other guys as well?
It didn't affect me, he told me that he didn't want me to get hurt.

Like I appreciate only things which I got for free without any effort BUT ONLY from man I see above me AND Im in love with. Because he is up, he can afford generousity. If a man above me isnt generous and wants me to work for to him give me something, I think he is insecure and below what I thought about him before - or I think he is evil because he wants to hurt me without any reason with unnecesary showing power like he is probably sadist=evil (abuse of power).
