She plays such difficult pieces superbly. And she does this on the violin too? Incredible.

I simply cannot think of a harder piece to play, nor of it ever being played better! Bravo!

Check out the videos of Tanja and English composer, pianist, violinist, child prodigy Alma Deutscher performing both a Bach double violin concerto and a Bach double piano concerto with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

What a beautiful, complex piece, played flawlessly and passionately! Thank you for making my day, Tanja.

+Robert Harris It is very complex because it is an adaptation by Lizst of an operatic quartet from the Verdi opera "Rigoletto", so in essence it has 4 different strands of melodies interlocking with each other plus lots of extra embellishments in the accompaniment. If you want to hear the quartet sang in its original form there are several versions of it on YT. A very good one is with Callas/Gobbi/di Stefano, you can find it easily if you want to hear it. Just enter in the search "Rigoletto quartet". I hope you enjoy it.

What a fantastic performance. It is one of the best performance of this work that I have heard. It is artistically mature and the rubatos well executed, giving it a wonderful flexibility. Awesome indeed for one only 14 years.

This is the best performance I've ever heard of this piece. Though the recording quality isn't great, her performance is right up there with Horowitz Chopin Ballade 1 at Carnegie and Schubert Impromptu 3 in Vienna, '87.

Liszt might have been amazed - I wonder of Clara Schumann played it?
