I’m not even in the UK and I watch this channel all the time. Dagan is an awesome player with an infectious enthusiasm. In an increasingly polarized and cynical world, Dagan is a breath of fresh air. As to the ToneMaster Pro, the demos sound awesome. And for a guy like me who’s a middle aged weekend gig kind of player, it may be the right choice. Fractal’s FM9 might have more options and tweakability but I’m not sure I have the time or energy to learn new software and programming. For a guy like me the ToneMaster Pro’s “user friendliness” might make it the right choice.
I tried this at a local music store near my friend’s place last weekend and I’m genuinely impressed by how it sounded, you can definitely get so many cool sounds from bands like The Police, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Queen, U2, Rush and stuff like that and it’s absolutely awesome
@@JoshuaTaylor-i1j I'm sure that you can make a preset or something that's reminiscent of his tone at least and obviously I know that it's digital, I'm just saying that as someone who's tried out that same gear I'm really impressed with its versatility and think that it's really good for what it does
@@JoshuaTaylor-i1j nah my line 6 helix has taken the shelf since I bought the TMP and it may be digital but it's top notch digital at 56 I'm done toting around my tube amps. This is so close with the feel and playability.
I really appreciate your demo videos. You have an awesome personality and dont get all flashy showing off your shred skills and focus on getting a good representation of what youre demoing. Awesome stuff.
MY DUDE .. DAGAN.. I have watch about 5 of the reviews on this device AND YOURS WAS ACTUALLY FUCKING ENTERTAINING. its a saturday mornin here inn Minot North Dakota usa and you GOT ME ROCKIN SO HARD that Im gonna watch this again !!!! GOOD ON YOU MATE and I could tell you weere having fun too!!! great job AS ALWAYS love your shit ROCK ON! (gonna like and share as always
I never liked the idea of a modelling amps, then came the Tonemaster series of amps! I was impressed, then came this, and I got one, it is an amazing piece of kit! Well done Dagan, a fun look at the presets, and you did it justice, rock on!
Helpful video. Thanks. Pretty sure the Bella Donna is for Stevie Nicks' Edge of Seventeen tone. It's the name of the album it appears on and sounds like a good fit
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this because of your killer playing and fun attitude. I too went through the factory presets, with about as much excitement as the next election. Thanks for making it fun again. Great play-through man, very off the cuff, well done! I was a bit non-plussed at first when I got the TMP, and accompanying FR-10 cab. Even though I intend to create my own sounds, I’ll have to try the presets again with a new perspective. Might even grab my Les Paul rather than the Tele, quite inspiring. Thanks for the super cool video, I’m a fan, subscribed.
Dagan. If you could get someone to film the screen while cycling through the presets, that would be PMTVUK's most viewed video. No playing needed, just show each setting for 5 seconds then click to the next. This information would be priceless for players of all levels.
My first time on your feed. You're a hoot. I love it! I've been looking at this fender device for a bit now. I like you dude. I think I'm going to buy one great demo. Will subscribe
I've been wanting to hear that "Barking Moon" preset since this unit came out. YOU are the only person who has bothered to demo it. It sounded pretty good!
I'll hazard a bet at Thai Airplane being a Mark Speer from Khruangbin tone. It sounds right and the band name Khruangbin comes from the Thai word meaning airplane ;)
If I had to guess, I think Happy Valentine is probably Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine and Ice Cold Shot is 100% Stevie Ray Vaughan and his song Cold Shot
What NOBODY has talked about though, is the mic/line input on the rear as well as the fact that this can act as an audio interface. Have only seen one review talk about the audio interface and only one mentions the mic/line input but nobody explains how or why there's that XLR/MIC/LINE in. Sounds great though, and your playing is xlnt and your enthusiasm is infectious!
I’d love to hear a side by side of this and the Fender Mustang GTx. So far I haven’t heard anything that sounds so much better. Other than this being a pedalboard version of that and supposed different modeling algorithms. And the clean tones were meh. Maybe it sounds way better in person
This was not only the most schizophrenic review that I have ever seen, but also the absolute best one that I’ve ever seen in regards to demonstrating the presets of the TMP. But then again, I could be missing a fuse 😎
Great review , love how you did this with songs presets , you are a stealth player , I think this is pretty good , Fender did a good job except it doesn’t come with a travel case ! Why be cheap Fender ?
With so many amps and sounds, I was hoping there would be a Tom Scholz Rockman, e.g. the X100 or the Sustainer. But unfortunately not here either. For me, this is a very important and unique sound. It's a shame that it's always overlooked. Otherwise, of course, a top device and a great demo video.
I love this and well done Fender, but to be honest I can get all this out of my ME90 for a 3rd of the cost. The difference with this unit is, all the sounds I can get in the ME90 is a preset in fender. Again love this but if you can’t afford the cost, ME90 boss is a great other option. Thanks Deegan love watching you play!!!
Is Lime Punk not just a general sort of Green Day tone? Lime == Green? And Happy Valentine could be My Bloody Valentine, didn't hear enough to be sure. Great video btw!
My favorite tone is mine, hands down the best I’ve ever heard. No bloody LFO’s, no horrible delays to hide sloppy play. No effing stupid frills, Les Paul custom to tuner then SanAmp GT2 to 73’ 100 watt super lead. Then the 4 1960AX Marshall cabs. This rig peels skin.
I love that Degan is like a big kid discovering new toys, as he goes through the different presets. Great demo, great video.

I love how you started playing slow dancing and the RUclips algorithm shut you down by releasing your guitar strap 😂 great video bro!! 🔥🔥🔥
This comment for the win 👏
this might be the best demo i've seen of this kit yet. Excellent job, sir. You used it exactly how 90% of guitarists would
How 99% would, 90% wish they could, and 1% can.

This is absolutely the best demo of this pedal so far...massively helped by Degan's playing and infectious personality. Great job 👍
Thanks! 🤘

Line 6 already did it. BUT, still, this can’t make you sound like Tom Sholz from Boston. It’s just a digital piece of gear.

You Sir, are one amazingly talented guitarist! In my opinion you were spot on with all the songs!
Great video as usual!
😎👍🎸
Great job demoing some of these presets. Some of them sounded pretty convincing

I like to think he’s like a Jack Sparrow of the guitar world
Great demo by a versatile guitarist letting each preset shine. Really highlighted the fun that could be had with this unit.
Awesome job playing all the different styles dude!
Far and away the best demo of this unit I've seen so far. Well done! Sounds killer.

Wow! 1st off Degan is Awsome! And entertaining but this tone master sounds amazing I think I’m sold
Helpful video. Thanks. Pretty sure the Bella Donna is for Stevie Nicks' Edge of Seventeen tone. It's the name of the album it appears on and sounds like a good fit
Awesome to hear your favorite presets! I grew up listening to 80's rock in the 80's.
Outstanding playing and enthusiasm Dagan- made me want one😀
What I dig about the TMP is that it comes with so many classic tones that you can so easily tweak to make your own
I don't usually subscribe to too many guitar channels but your sense of humor did it for me. Great playing as well!
Great review as always, Dagan!

Best demo of this unit Ive ever seen. The English Toffee preset alone is worth price of admission.
the Mayer tone is more than enough for me to want to buy this pedal one day. omg what a tone!
Really fun demo. The tonea are insanely close and You nailed most of them.
Dagan always passes the vibe test! Such a dope guitar player and cool person!
great video! and the Strat strap popping off was something we can all relate to. great playing btw.

Enjoyable video -- great to see you having fun with the presets.
Man you can really have some fun with that pedal.. thanks for the demo
Ok your demo of this is Mint 🔥😎👊💯 pedal sounds amazing
Brilliant demo Degan and great playing, very talented.
I've been wanting to hear that "Barking Moon" preset since this unit came out.
YOU are the only person who has bothered to demo it. It sounded pretty good!
That Brian may sound was amazing
Love this guy! Perfect program all the time. 😊
God bless him 🙏
Omg this thing sounds so freaking good!
Awesome vídeo! Id love to see a comparisson with the BOSS GT-1000!
By the way, did you enjoy your holyidays in Portugal?
Cheers 🤘🍺🇵🇹
Fender got into the modeling game late , but they got it right , always enjoy your demos 👍
I wanted to hear the tone and modeling before I bought one, great demonstration!
killer tones and playing!
They should have a Dagan preset!
The clean fender sound on slow burning sounds incredible. the best I’ve heard from a component modeler.
As always, you do great reviews... and play guitar better than me !
Congrats!
Sounds so good 👍🏻👍🏻

That’s the million dollar question!
I love when people genuinely get excited about Creed nowadays instead of pretending to hate them 😁
That Jimi tone was pretty epic.
That made me want this unit BAD!!!
FIRST TIME ON THIS CHANNEL... EXCELLENT JOB.. I DO BELIEVE THIS IS THE UK'S PHIL X !!!!
Peaceful "Deth" - "Could it be Metallica?"
*distant sound of Dave Mustaine grinding his teeth* 🤣
Yes this unit is the bomb.. having a blast
Wow!! bealtifull sounds. Very really sounds. Thanks from Brazil.
Is there any David gilmour sounds?
Thanks mate I’m sticking to my boss gt1
Great !
I love my Tonemaster pro to !!

No Def Leppard/Boston Rockman Preset??
😂 for reals!
This unit is truly impressive! excellent demo. I just want to jam with you, 80's cinderella, LA Guns, Skid row Big Hair music forever lol..
Are we hearing the direct output of the TMP? Or are you using the Tonemaster FRFR amp?
This was not only the most schizophrenic review that I have ever seen, but also the absolute best one that I’ve ever seen in regards to demonstrating the presets of the TMP. But then again, I could be missing a fuse 😎
Hehehe
Right on!!! So much fuuuun!,,,
Fun to watch & inspiring
So much fun! Yeah!
First RUclips 'guitar shop' video I've watched twice. 🤟🏻
I want to have a beer with Degan!
Great review , love how you did this with songs presets , you are a stealth player , I think this is pretty good , Fender did a good job except it doesn’t come with a travel case ! Why be cheap Fender ?
I have a old mosfet marshall with effects loop but i don’t know how it will sound trough a solid state amp
The man in black strikes again, well played bonny lad
Ice cold shot I believe was meant to be “Cold Shot” by SRV
People talking about the Mayer sound and not the fact that the Thin Lizzy sound was bang on the Thin Lizzy sound?

How’s the feel on it?
Great modeler. Now Fender needs to release some FRFR cabinets styled like their combo amps to go along with this.
Pretty sure he is using one
You skipped in my dreams. A George Lynch tone. It's not bad. I've tried it. It's cool
Good! Keep going, you are half way now do the vocal side
Was Southern Salvation a Black Crowes tone? Maybe for “Sometimes Salvation”.
Apresentação impecável, parabéns

Me 90 club
The more units like these that come out, the more I appreciate my AxeFX III.
How much is that ? This is now 1300 ish already
'Summer of Jimi' is the Star Spangled Banner sound he played at the Woodstock festival!
Is Lime Punk not just a general sort of Green Day tone? Lime == Green? And Happy Valentine could be My Bloody Valentine, didn't hear enough to be sure. Great video btw!
"Southern Salvation" could be the Black Crowes?
Can this be used with Boss Katana amp?
That Mayer Tone…damn sounds good
I hear a million Van Halen gear demos lately. I haven’t heard one hit song using the sound since 1984.
Really dig that guitar

This guys guitar playing has drastically improved over the years lol
Piece Of Mine might be the sound of Iron Maiden's Piece Of Mind record with songs like Revelations and Where Eagles Dare...
You rock man.
I'm here to watch him play guitar. 💪👍
My gut for Happy Valentine was Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine but it doesn't have that Wall of Sound drowning in reverb sound
Any Uli Jon Roth sound?
good old repertoire you have there, fair play.
Is this Tone Master compatible with a Wah pedal?
Thanks Dagan.
13:01 is it My Bloody Valentine?
i think it needs more to get that kevin shields tone
What is REALLY missing are a Tom Scholz BOSTON ...a Neal Schon JOURNEY and a Steve Lukather TOTO presets!!!!!
There's nothing out there that sounds like Tom Sholz. I wish there were! 😢
@@Worship4LifeGuitarThat's because his tone was so layered great guitarist but even greater recording engineers on those Boston albums.
