It blows my mind that they didn't learn from Battlefront. They are going to EA themselves, which is why I'm not buying it at launch. I'll wait for them to be forced to fix the game and make it what everyone unanimously wants and expects.

I'm still pissed off about the Halo 5 campaign. The whole "Hunt The Truth" ad campaigns were false advertising.
I know how you feel. All advertisements for the games campaign were full of shit.
Commercial were Just much more interesting than actual shit we get instead Of Story.
Considering that they have lied to us before, I am not sure if we can trust anything fron the Halo Infinite advertisement.

Who asked for a free to play Halo? It wasn't me, it wasn't my brother-in-law that got me hooked on halo, it wasn't my Nephew that I got hooked on halo. I have literally not seen a single person saying They want Halo Infinite multiplayer to be free to play EXCEPT 343!
Honestly I don't think it was 343s decision, I think it was probably Microsoft. A lot of the "bad news" we've gotten from infinite, the armor coatings and free to play stuff, it is probably Microsoft ordering them to do it.

They are probably trying to get a newer audience for multiplayer, not just older players of the series. I am dissapointed in ways but I can understand reasons on why its free to play. The microtransactions I and no one likes especially when its custimization. I still have hope for infinite andnwant this to be the best halo game. Try to think in the pov of a newer player and an older player.

My friends aren't really into halo, if the multiplayer is going free-to-play, then I can play with them and they don't have to pay 60 (which is a lot in my country) dollars for the full game. It's a good thing, and now Halo can compete with other big games (let's face it, Halo's not big anymore, it has way less players than other games and it's been dying for the last couple years). Halo needs a new player base.

343 refuses to talk unless its a stupid irrelevant tease about something in game. They dont show anything new, keep talking and replacing old guns and systems with new shits, and then keep telling us its fine were not changing it and you'll like it so shut up.
And the game especially multiplayer is more based off for new random people that'll prob never play it, then us OG always and have kept playing Halo fans
Yup hated them after playing halo 5, loved the shit they put out before the game but never added up to the halo 5 story.
yea, im a firm believer that 343 doesnt really care about about the OG players that have been there ~20 years. Especially since the game is going to be free to play they dont need to care about the OGs they dont need/want to take care of us when theyre going to have all these new people comming in. its about profit not making a fun game

That aside, animation stopped being favorited by RUclips for quite some time now. Look at Jon cjg he literally puts months if not years into his episodes and gets a fraction of the views he used to have.

Probably, it's something I did a lot before making animations. It won't be very frequently because I find it quite unsatisfying making them for some reason.
Honestly this game hasn’t given me any reason to buy it besides the fact that it’s a halo game. Alot of the information about halo infinite is Bad For the longevity of the franchise moving forward. We all cheered 343 for the return of the classic art-style alongside the change in narrative from the Discover Hope trailer, but now it seems they just flipped it all on our heads. If that wasn’t enough they also won’t share anything with us despite 6 years of development. It’s a sad yet true realization that the Halo Franchise is no longer a innovator, neither is it a Franchise Directed largely towards its fans, and neither is it a Franchise willing to stay true to its roots. It’s just a monetized and corporate piece of Entertainment thats lacking the ignition to deliver us something that goes Above and Beyond The Middle-Of-The-Road, something that will make us think with more intention like the original Bioshock, The Half-Life games, and even The Original Halo Trilogy. The only thing that’s differentiates Modern Halo from the games I just listed is that it lost its ambition to be unique in exchange for mimicking what modern shooter games are doing.

I was pretty optimistic about the game until I bought the MCC on PC when Halo 3 dropped. For some reason, despite playing Halo 4, 5, and MCC on the Xbox I thought it would be a broken pile of shit. At least the campaigns mostly work, sort of, though playing Halo CE in classic graphics tanks my framerate to 20 and it's still using the broken fucking Gearbox port.
I recently played Halo 4's MP just to check it out, knowing I didn't like the campaign. They ruined so many gameplay aspects and COD'ized the franchise instantly. Then I played the campaign in co-op and it was horrifically laggy, actually unplayable in parts, and just miserable to play. The MP is depressingly broken, has been since launch, and the only thing they've done to attempt to fix it was denying it for 6 years, and then making bullets faster in Halo 3. I recently played a game on Sandbox and had no less than 7 blood shots. They didn't fix shot, and there's zero guarantee they'll fix anything now.
Hearing the MP is going free to play, announcing MTX no one wanted acting like it's a good thing, the time taken, leads lost, and refusal to show progress and gameplay, combined with the total fuckery of everything they've done before, it's almost a guarantee Infinite will be terrible.
I feel very disapointing to se this franchise in this state. You can say whatever you want about h4 and h5 but this could be the last chance to do the things right,
halo 4 was actually great halo 5 was good but slightly off but it still bought in the big bucks im sad about whats gonna happen after infinite
@@hiddenvip6137 I Love them both Halo 4 and 5. Its just I will like to have the Halo game that we deserve both bungie era and 343 era fans. Its just that this feels like I could be the best game for both fan bases or could be the worst. Its amazing how scary this game is for its community.
I like Halo 4 and 5 but they made mistakes like the incomplete launch the campaign and marketing, The Halo 4 multiplayer in the beginning.

True. Halo 4 had a good campaign but it’s multiplayer while fun, was pretty weak. While Halo 5 had a pretty terrible campaign (which is infuriating as the advertising and story on paper sounded so interesting and unique) but it’s multiplayer was brilliant. Halo: Infinite really needs to land on both feet or this could well and truly be the end of Halo. Which is shit to say as it’s my favourite franchise.

All these people saying "I'm worried about halo infinite" "I'm losing faith in halo infinite" I'm just sitting here thinking wtf? Why would you have high hopes to begin with?? Since before I even knew what they were going to name the game I knew it would suck. Then I hear open world, bad graphics, dumb grappling hook and all this other bad news and after all these years people are still surprised..
You know what, your right ever since halo 5 I have always found it to be a bit of a struggle to adjust to the movement mechanics and i will say that I hate it. I have been playing halo and the entire series since CE but I honestly can't get use to the movement system in 5, it's to damn confusing for me and more often than not I end up forgetting where I am.
All I'm saying is I'm more of and OG halo fan and what 343 did to the halo franchise is completely slaughtered and drowned out to become almost a copy of modern day FPS games.

After 343 started fixing MCC and changed the artstyle I was expecting a full turn around. I was so hyped that I couldn’t sleep on the night before the reveal, after I saw that shit I just don’t care about halo anymore. 343 is hilarious.

What really put the final nail in the coffin for me was the “We’re really excited” statement announcing armor sliders. To me it has the same tone as “Yay easy money” instead of “here’s some cool details we worked on, how they fit into the world, and our thought process.” It really is a shame, because the monthly blogs about MCC are like a transparent discussion and the devs seem to be genuinely excited about their work, even if they aren’t as talented as og Bungie.
“We’re really excited” sounds more like a statement from corporate than from the devs.
Remember that "we are so excited" from the diablo mobile developers? xD..yeah.. its the same shit.

I play Halo for the story. It’s what got me into the series. Finish The Fight, Believe, Remember Reach were the taglines that prepared me for each Halo game. Now it barely does anything to get me going for the next game. It’s just here’s a game you pay $60 for then pay for the rest instead of earning it. Then they forget to add a story afterwards. I love the books and some of the comics. I have them all, but I’d like to see those kinds of stories implemented to the game.
Well I'm not by any means defending this but I think the microtransactions were more of a microsoft decision than a 343 one. Everyone needs to remember that 343 is owned by a massive billion dollar company whose number 1 goal is to make money above everything else.

Everyone forgets that 343 is a company that is literally devoted to halo. I dont care too much about the multi-player cause i have halo 5 and mcc and those are constantly being maintained. I think the campaign for this game was set up very well and has an incredible amount of potential, from what I've been able to tell they have been putting a lot of effort into the campaign and have been taking many precautions to make sure its good. I think its going to be a good game

I really don't understand why people think the story is going to suck? They saw 4 minutes of cutscenes (which barely revealed any story details). Maybe it's because of the cheesiness in Escharum's speech...? Still kind weird to be so sure the narrative will be bad based off of a 2 minute speech.

THANK YOU! I’ve been saying the same thing since the moment they announced the multiplayer would be free-to-play; the game will be riddled with micro-transactions. The fact that we have to pay for basic features that have been in Halo since Halo 1 just shows that 343 and Microsoft have murdered Halo.

I was hoping the multiplayer being free would of been like a demo (that doesn't end) and monetisation would be DLC packs kinda like Modern Warfare's packs but not in a rotating item shop and no locked behind some funny money just pay £7 for a couple customisation options

@@Vyshnav-di5me I loved the gameplay which is why I agreed with the above statement but the fact the game was supposed to release today when they showed us that gameplay demo means they was happy with what they showed us and it was only after all the backlash that the game was delayed. You do realise that the game is supposed to release on XBOX One as well which severely limits what they can do for the series X/S versions of the game plus you talk about the cutscenes looking great which they do but those are pre-rendered so don’t represent the graphics truly. I mean look at the Halo 2 Anniversary cut scenes, they looked amazing but the gameplay graphics were nothing compared to those

halo 2 anniversary was the only halo game with full on pre rendered cutscenes and they are not even made by 343 they are by blur studios
all cutscenes show by 343 for halo infinite are in engine and is confirmed

and also gears 5 was a game being held back by the 2013.xbox one and that game looked frickin amazing
so if this game looks at least as good as that everybody would have no problem with the graphics
@@Vyshnav-di5me ah my bad with the cut scenes then but I don’t ever remember having an issue with gears 5 graphics that ran on a Xbox One but the Halo Infinite demo was running on a PC designed to emulate the series X and it came out looking worse than Halo 5. My worries about the game also extend to the fact the game has been in development for 5+ years, they have lost 2 directors during the games development. Multiplayer being free to play so it will be swarmed with micro-transactions like the armour coatings. The graphics don’t bother me because as long as the gameplay is solid then I will enjoy it but when there are other cross platform games that look gorgeous on both consoles and then Halo infinite looks that bad with the budget and the amount of people working on the game it makes me worried

@@Hammer_Of_Olympia the campaing is separated from the multiplayer, no, I dont believe the campaing should cost lower because it costed much to make it, and also, the open world feature together with a dope forge, story mode, probably all halo vehicles and various locations (making the game more expensive), with the 10 year update, I believe it should cost full price, hell, even more, 343 is putting much effort on the game, so yes, I think it should cost 60$

I just checked pre orders and they are charging full price for infinite. So I guess everyone who wants to play the campaign is gonna eat the development costs for multi-player. I'll bet they give people who buy the game a very low amount of whatever the premium currency is gonna be. I'd bet money on that.

@@chrismarple Reach campaign was retarded because it retconned a lot of older lore that made perfect sense, invented a Chief-like character not to further the story but to sell copies of the game, and Reach added sprint to Halo which is the thing I hate most as far as features in Halo. The multi-player was great fun but I still hated the sprint.

I’m glad I found this, we share the option that combat evolved is just above criticism... but I love all the games quite equally, mainly because I love the story... until 5 but I can appreciate what the were trying to do.
I do worry about infinite but as long as the story is memorable and has enough emotional involvement I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far.

here's my prediction on Halo infinite: I think the campaign will be better then Halo 4 and 5 but not better then Halo 2 and 3.
the multi-player will be a ton of fun but the micro transaction will bother people a lot to the point that halo fans will lose interest in playing the multi-player.
for me I'm playing Halo infinite for the story and the new adventure.

Unfortunately, I think the main reason they might do the “rotating playlist” thing on MCC (and halo 5) is due to low playerbase. So, to please everyone, they rotate the non-base modes to encourage everyone to group up, keeping matchmaking faster and more consistent

Hey for the coatings, I can almost guarantee that they won’t be one time consumables. I tried using two different codes for the same coating and it didn’t go through. So I guess there’s a little bit of frosting on this shit.

I haven't lost hope and would like to give a few points as to why 1. First of all every game has temporary gamemodes idk why that is such a problem, I get that it can be a little annoying sometimes but idc that much about it, 2. Open world sounds interesting and fun, I've always enjoyed open world games and a halo one would be interesting, 3. Graphics don't look that bad, 4. The new features and weapons seem cool and I'm excited about them, 5. Free multiplayer is cool, cod warzone did it and yeah it might be for money, but everything is, you can't blame them that much for that , and free multiplayer would be fun for everyone anyways. And also IT'S LITERALLY FREE. 6. I think the colors should be done like in ESO, where you unlock them via archivments. Easy achivments give you dull colore while harder ones give you shiny and trans colored ones.
The reason Game modes are rotated on MCC has nothing to do with exp. It's because there are too few people playing to populate all the game modes. By keeping it limited to just a few at a time queues are much faster. And that's saying something considering how long it can take to find a game in mcc currently.

One thing that I like about the free to play multiplayer is that you don't have to pay for xbox live to play it. I'm not a fan of f2p games with microtransactions, but as long as you pay only to customise your character and it's not pay to win, it won't be that much of a problem

What were your thoughts on the multiplayer reveal?
There wasn't much information but I liked the look of some parts and not so much others. Some of the weapons felt a little off to me and I think the art style looks a bit plastic at times. But I loved stuff like the samurai armour. I also love the look of the campaign which for me is the main selling point.

I prefer 2 over 3 if I’m being honest also the nerf do dual wielding really annoyed me. It’s still fun to play but I prefer 2.
My problem with Halo 6 is I see zero evidence of a continuation of the storyline. Halo 5 ended in a cliffhanger with Cortana being the new antagonist of the series. This seems like they did a complete reboot on the storyline. I see no shots of forerunners. What happened? Who does that? Who leaves a series in a cliffhanger and then ditches the storyline altogether?
I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that it's a continuation of halo 5, Shadows of reach basically confirms it
@@toothy_efoa I hope you are right. There are two things I hate so much in VG and Anime world. Incomplete or broken storylines, and parallel universe storylines that have nothing to do with each other. Why not just make one solid storyline like Metal Gear has and keep building upon it?
Have you heard the hidden Cortana dialogue that was a part of the Discover Hope trailer WAY back (and I'm talking about the *hidden* bit, not just her talking at the end)? Assuming that's real and actually in the game, Infinite absolutely is a continuation of Halo 5. Or at least, the whole thing with Cortana and her questionable status is still in play.
The fact that Multiplayer is a separate entity by itself scares me because it sounds like they're going to pull a Fortnite. Epic Games doesn't profit off of their story mode; they profit from the Battle Royale mode. Something about this makes me fear that they'll put out a terrible campaign and use the separate F2P multiplayer as a means of getting that revenue back
Honestly, the only thing that would make me look forward to infinite is if they COMPLETELY scrapped their new weapons and brought back every single one from CE. Perhaps even going as far as to import the WSTE-M combat lever-action double barrel shotgun in Marathon similar to how all the other halo games imported Marathon's SPNK-R rocket launcher.

Yeah and like I said, it doesn't matter if you can unlock instead of buying. Because if they're available to buy in the first place, it completely discounts any work you put into earning it because someone else can earn it the exact same way by just paying for it.

Also, being a halo fan for the longest time and the developers not giving any info is not only making me lose interest, but other potential buyers of the game too who arent fans of the series. When news DOES come out, the only people who really see it are the current fans. But bad press will ruin the game and 343 is doing nothing to fix it
One of the most revolutionary games in the FPS industry was in development hell for 6 years and the rights were almost cannibalized by the developers. The demo was slapped together in three days and no one knew what to make of it. Once it came out it showed everyone the potential of the medium and genre with a combat sandbox and AI that set a new precedent. This game is Half-Life.
This studio tried again years later after even more development hell that resulted in a hack that got the FBI involved. Most of the campaign was totally changed if not outright omitted with many interesting levels, weapons, and environments gutted. The E3 demo was borderline false advertising. This game is Half-Life 2.
Between these two games, a small studio finally caught their big break and was about to make a Mac RTS. Within 3 years, the studio moved and had so much creative difference and technical issues the project was hell. In the last 10 months, they decided to make it a watered-down arena FPS that butchered the pacing and tight design of traditional shooters at the time. They only had half a campaign's worth of levels so they decided to make the second half replaying. The creative differences lead to only one gun really being viable 80% of the time. This game is Halo CE.
There are countless other examples. Halo 2 had much worse development and the fact that it was as good as it was at launch is nothing short of a miracle. Doom 2016 was stuck in development hell with a similar story and ended up being the messiah of modern shooters. Infinite's development is the norm, not the exception.
