Hi Pina, I love this recipe. I tried it today. Yours are much more thicker than mine. I think its because my flowers from the store were much more collapsed looking when they were packaged and shipped. They tasted good, but yours looked so nice and puffy. I just love watching you cook, you make everything look soo easy. You are a wonderful cook and truly a sweet lady to watch and listen to, move over Lidia, lol. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful recipes.
I'm going to try this recipe tonight even though I only have a few zucchini flowers. I plan to bulk those up with some of the millions of scarlet runner bean flowers I have at the moment. I just now realized they were edible and the possibilities are getting me pretty excited.
zucchini flowers are delicious. In China we also fry zucchini flower like this but without cheese. It's one of my favorite dishes! Love your videos and your cookings. Must be really lucky to have a grandma like you!
Pina Cucina You have no idea, she could have been a Michelin 5 start chef, she could do amazing stuff, You know Honestly the world needs to be cleaned up, everybody needs to be Green, Cherish and take care of our farm lands, Share all of our wonderful Foods and GET ALONG ! Both of my Grandmas taught me how to cook, my Nonna was from Dogliani Italy and my other Abolita " Grandma" was from Sonora Mexico, I got the BEST of Both worlds! Blessings to you, Keep cooking!~
Looks wonderful Pina. I have zucchini flowers in the garden at the moment & I usually stuff them but I would like to try these frittelle. Can the batter be made a little ahead of time? Thanks for a great recipe :)
Would you please send me the ingredient list with amounts? I love the look of this. I have been growing my own foods this year in a very compact garden. I am not getting any female flowers so, I am going to learn what to do with all the male flowers and this, looks perfect. I think I will add some squash to this and BOOM. Perfect.
Yummm wish zuccini flowers were not expensive here so i could eat them all the time... it's like 12 dlls for 4 flowers 😨 thats enough for only one person !!
Pina, you made me cry....I haven't had fritteli like this since mom passed...this is my favourite dish .....
thank you!!!
My grandma collected these fresh and fried them for lunch.Delicious food ,
Incredible memory.
These flowers are beautiful 🌹
