    Was curious where you bought your keycaps from! They look super clean and match this build very well

    sounds great with foam-- do you have the flex cut PCB? that may be why the no foam sound is a bit thin (they're offering a non flex PCB now too)

    • @IzuanHezri
      @IzuanHezri  Год назад +2

      Yeap. Its with the flex cut. Alternatively, force break also possible to sort out the metallic ping. But i prefer the case foam more.

    What a review! Glad to see another video from you after a while sir,, awesome build btw, qk80 might be one of the budget TKLs that destroys other higher end tkls in terms of quality, design, sound profile etc in the "budget" line of custom keyboards. Such a W board!
    Also Zoom TKL is a good value TKL board too, have u ever wanna try that one out by any chance? Just asking haha

      Yea. Been kind of shifted focus as of late. But yea here i am again. Hahaha.
      Yes bro. This board is really worth the price if u ask me. Ive tried zoom tkl before. And i agree, its also another alternative to look at.

    Which foam should I use to improve the sound, I don’t like foam sound too much 😂😂

    I feel like OwLab/QwertyKeys kinda get a pass on the foam thing after being largely responsible for popularizing it in kits. It’s kinda their “thing”
    Nice video mate

      well we didn't really pay much attention to the performance without the foams - it's meant to build with all of them

    Your video is always stunning to watch bro. I do think the QK80's sound is a bit underwhelming in a non-pe-foam config. Probably because of the bigger size and flex cuts of course

    • @IzuanHezri
      @IzuanHezri  Год назад +1

      Heyyyy. Nahhh, im a small micro organism compare to yours. Haha. Anyway, thanks man.
      Yes. Flex cuts is the biggest culprit here.

    out of curious, how would you compare this with the tiger80

    • @IzuanHezri
      @IzuanHezri  Год назад +2

      Ahh. Qk80 is better overall bro.
      Actually, this qk80 is more comparable to zoom tkl.
      Tiger80 is more of a budget entry level. Qk80 sits a just above the tiger80 on the charts.
