Looks like a standard right turn. You had major room to make that turn.

Major room means many drivers will swing the corner too fast opening up the inside of the trailer for a car to sneak in and hit you. In a bus we would train the push pull method of steering as this forces you you to go slower so you could more easily keep the rear no further than four feet from the curb to keep the cars out.

Great idea using a drone to create this video, it is a awesome training tool for new drivers to visualize this type of turn.

Hit a curb on my test last week didn’t know I could go into the incoming traffic lane if I’m make a right on a double lane. They told me I should just go to the 3 rd lane and than make my turn. Also there is a mother pretty tough right turn on the test.

It depends on where your tandems are positioned when you make that turn because if they are all the way to the back I doubt you can make it without impeding into the left lane to do the button maneuver 👍

I’d rather do the j turn to off set my trailer before the turn. But that’s more for small single lane use than the double lane.

That was a pretty big radius turn. My triple axle grain trailer is 3 ft shorter but the axles are way in the back and my tractor is way bigger than that one almost twice as big. That wasn't even a whole tractor it was just a single axle. In other words that was a pretty easy turn
