- Boulder Dash is a legendary wooden Roller coaster at Lake Compounce Amusement park, in Bristol CT. Boulder Dash reaches impressive top speeds of 65 miles per hour, which is on a par with, and sometimes even faster than, many steel coasters. Boulder Dash was voted the world's number one wooden roller coaster in 2001 and 2004 by the National Amusement Park Historical Association.

Boulder Dash is a top 5 wooden Coaster, no doubt. I road Trip from PA to CT (where I was born) multiple times per year and I ALWAYS stop by to ride boulder Dash

Is it less shakey up front
I'd say the back more "air time" when going up on hills/bumps, while the front is better for views. Every seat on a coaster is a little shakey!
this ride was great but it absolutely destroyed my back. it got to the point where i was dreading every hill and turn. wildcat did the same. not sure if anyone has had the same experience, i've only ever heard people complain about wildcat.
Wildcat was so bumpy it tilted my GoPro and I couldn't use any of the footage. Possibly the most bumpy coaster I've been on.
