First The Hu song I heard was Yuve Yuve Yu and I was instantly amazed, they are incredible. They have a number of fantastic collaborations, but this one is my favourite. Jacoby fits with them so well!
The two stringed instruments are called morin khuurs or horse head fiddles, the guitar is called a tovshuur or Mongolian lute. The type of singing is called Mongolian throat singing. They also did 2 covers for Metallica sad but true and another one called thru the never. I'm A HU FAN FOR LIFE!!!!

I like the original better as well, especially when you put on the close caption, and it comes over in English as to what they are singing. Although this one is kick ass too. In the original, I've been told a lot of the bikers, to include the band, are actually decedents of the great Genghis Khan, who in today's society has taught us that he was a murderer of the Mongolian people, when in fact he wasn't as evil as historians make him out to be. Of course, in the day we live in and look back and think what a monster, we also have to look at the "time" period in which he lived in. What was acceptable then of course is not now, but that's not his fault. He wanted all Mongolians united under one tribe and not many tribes fighting amongst one another, so he wanted the other tribes to join his, if they didn't want to, well then, the fight was on. IF.... you surrendered, he was quite lenient, but we are not taught that. Genghis Khan did not know the word "Surrender", he didn't want to fight, but if you chose to fight him instead of joining forces, then fighting he would do. Basically this song is saying the same thing, They, like their ancestor will not surrender, they don't want any problems, but if you want to start shit, they will have no problem finishing it, and if you want to bring the evil to them, they will bury you, no matter what form you come at them as, they will come at you as something stronger and bigger. If you didn't do the original vid with the close captions on, I definitely recommend it, you'll understand the meaning of the song much better, and when you are done listening to it, you are ready to fight anyone and anything that is bad in this world...lol Definitely a tribal war song! Pappa did a great job, but he only touched the tip of the ice berg translating the full meaning of the song for them.
