As a person with several chronic pain and fatigue conditions (EDS, Fibromyalgia, and POTS) I so appreciate your grace filled approach to home making.
I love that she’s so relatable and is ok with talking about her medical issues. I too have some autoimmune diseases and some days it’s hard to get anything done so it’s nice to hear her say progress over perfection.

Pretty much my only spring decor is the orchids blooming. Although, I do rotate a few prints that come down with fall and Christmas decor.
When it comes to spring cleaning I have a list that I keep saved in my phone and it's only those once a year tasks to just freshen up the home. Like cleaning under the couches & bed, behind the appliances, deep cleaning the fridge & stove, washing the baseboards, etc. I do it throughout the month to not overwork myself.

Spring is definitely my favorite season! I love to hear the birds and watch the earth come to life again after the winter’s rest. The grass becoming green, the flowers blooming, the trees budding-it’s the perfect time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!!

I actually do pre winter cleaning. Before the weather gets really cold and we’re stuck inside more often, I clean so it’s a dust free and tidier environment to be in for future months. In spring, I clean with opening the windows and clean when the sunshine is coming in and showing me dirty windows and winter dust. But I don’t feel like I’m cleaning up months of yucks because I cleaned right before winter.

Spring has always been my favorite season - the return of the flowers and birds is just my absolute favorite!
I started the sock hack a couple of years ago and it has been amazing to simplify it! The only exception is for my girls I keep a basket of cute ruffled knee high socks for church at the top of their closet so they wear those on Sundays.
I even do it for myself. I am very tidy and fold my clothes, but I got so tired of matching socks. I have one kind of warm winter socks and one kind of low cut summer socks. Just throw them in a basket when they are clean and call it a day.
No spring yet in New England. This past weekend, we were in New Hampshire with snow and today in MA, it's 37° and pouring. Ready for warmth and flowers.

I guess the big difference between my normal cleaning and spring cleaning is that I open so many more windows. It's so cold here throughout the winter, so windows and doors remain shut. It's lovely when the temperature is finally above freezing and I can let the fresh air in.

New subscriber, I love cleaning videos like this ! I was happy when I've seen you've filmed while emptying the trash haha it's a chore that makes it feel fresh and less cluttered. I was just hoping it would be filmed at regular speed as it's already quick and also because I struggle to discard so many things like nicer paper clutter (magazines, catalogues, clothes stores junk mail) and mostly any clothes that can't be donated, so when people film that part, I'm always trying to find motivation to toss those things hoping to see other people have tossed theirs 😆

Spring is my favorite, only because I HATE winter...and it's essentially the death of winter. Btw, I live in Canada, to understand the strong emotions I have to potentially deadly temperature's. Bring on the sunshine!!

Usually Spring cleaning means cleaning closets, but this year we found mold in my son's bedroom so it meant getting everything out of his room to clean it, put down a specific product on the walls and paint. My house is a mess because there is only 1 kid but stuff that goes for miles :) Right now i barely can walk in to my living room ... just hope it doesn'a appear again.
The past couple of years, I've been into spring cleaning heavily neglected areas like the oven and the top of the kitchen cabinets but this year, I'm more motivated to declutter. What I'm finding is a lot of cleaning is happening as a byproduct of the decluttering because apparently dust makes its way into cabinets and really everywhere. I feel so accomplished already because this month, my daughter, partner, and I donated 2 full trash bags of clothing EACH plus there was a bag of footwear and a bag of outerwear like snow pants and coats.

After decorating for fall, taking it down, decorating for Christmas, and taking it down, I’m done decorating. I put a hydrangea wreath on the door that I won’t take down until I decorate for fall. I guess I decorate with flowers plants and candles. ❤

Mostly Thanksgiving & Christmas a little for Easter & the 4th of July like you, just a few little things. I used to do a lot more. But just can't anymore. I would love to see some more gardening on here. I just can't afford to join the Patreon. I haven't seen your garden sinse last fall, I think. We're on the Eastern side of Washington & it got up to the 70's, but just for a few days then back cold 30's to 40's & I get so cold, so I still bundle up. My spring cleaning goals are windows inside and outside, pulling out furniture and appliances and cleaning behind, and purging stuff that's accumulated over the winter.
I also keep up my cleaning routine every day/week. But I do change the furnace filter and change fire alarm batteries etc.
Also changing to Spring/summer wardrobe
Things that are only done two or three times a year 😊
And I take some time to declutter drawers and closets. Just took a lot of dingy towels to the animal shelter for them to use up.

(Sorry if I spelt her name wrong). I don’t do check lists for cleaning but do those things I wouldn’t do monthly. Wiping down windows and tracks. Things like that. Spring is sweet with new life but I’m true fall girl 🤍
Ooo I was so excited to see this video pop up today! I do a little extra with spring cleaning… I recently cleaned out the sink plugs and drains 🤢 highly recommend if you’ve never done it but my was it nasty! But also satisfying. So little things like that I wouldn’t normally do but I add something out of the ordinary stuff once a week or so.
We're still dealing with the normal rollercoaster of weather out here in Kentucky. Just starting to fill in holes with new plants, watching the daffodils & tulips I planted last fall come up, our star magnolia tree bloom & the dogwoods coming right behind the magnolia! The amount our birds & butterflies (yes all ready) flying around is pretty.
My best garden hack is to get some human hair and sprinkle it around the property line. Keeps the deer and bunnies off my hostas. I used to cut my husbands hair so I’d use that but my friend is a stylist so I just grab a grocery bag full from her in the spring.

Those daffodils are so pretty; perfect vibe for spring. I do the whole house twice a week, then spring clean in-between whether it's spring or not. The exception is gardening, having plants that flower at that time of year; like bottlebrush. It starts to flower later in spring. Happy Easter ❤

I went room by room, cleaned out closets, dusted all the baseboards, fans, vacuumed under beds/furniture, dusted walls, and cleaned grime off doors and walls. Cleaned out all the bathroom and kitchen cabinets. I used to do this twice a year, but I now do it in February only because once the weather warms up here I want to be outside!!
I know that you once mentioned that you aren’t a fan of your front door style but we have the same one at our home and I love it (and I love that we’re “twinsies”! 😅)
I do the most cleaning in the summer. Spring cleaning for me is the normal cleaning, including washing all our sheets and blankets. And finally posting some items on my Buy Nothing Group.

I use spring cleaning time to wash anything that can be washed Duvet covers pillows curtains all the blankets. go through and declutter all those bins that get filled under the beds and closets. We live in Michigan so it is also time to wash, dry clean all the winter gear. and then store them. Then onto all the windows. We have a large 3 season porch that needs sprucing up and ready for us to use once the weather heats it up
