I love how honest your reviews are compared to the people who act like they've just had an orgasm when eating a sandwich they've had before. Maybe if your tired of reviewing bad fast food. maybe you can do some tv dinners lmao.
That's always difficult because every store is different, there's no uniformity anywhere I wish these companies would make uniformity a requirement even if it's a franchise and they don't I've gone to some Popeye's and some is great others are greasy cold it just depends on the employees working there
It's ONE of my favourite PARTS of the video! You can study his face and chewing but it's almost impossible to tell what his verdict is before he's done! Every time I watch the video I'm like "I'm gonna catch the moment he either likes it or doesn't like it"... but it never happens, the man has a poker face! :D I don't know why I enjoy it so much but I do!
To the point of even causing himself physical pain;I know he went through several dental procedures for a while,but he still kept putting out content despite possible pain and discomfort. Gotta admire the man's dedication.
Oh! I work at Popeyes. The bread gets buttered and toasted before assembly, the toaster dealie is probably responsible for the smashing tbh if not the way the buns are stored. I get my sandwiches free and unsmashed tho :p

@@MainComputer Yeah that can be a problem, the toasters don't get maintained very well and it can be a pain to make them actually toast. Also, wings etc are typically done in house, but sandwich fillets are brought in pre processed, battered and fried, so there is a case for corporate cheaping out, it can also depend on which distributor is sending in the meats cause I've seen a massive size difference from week to week.

I hear Popeyes had astronauts on the International Space Station working hard on researching this sandwich for the past two years. Apparently, the havarti cheese and bacon can only be assembled with the chicken in micro-gravity. If your order takes some extra time at the drive-thru window take that into consideration. Atmospheric re-entry guarantees a warm sandwich at least.
Yes I had heard that this was a rumour but it turns out you've got the facts which is nice so it's a space chicken havarti bacon sandwich..... and my suggestion would be that it needs slices of tomatoes which is the best accompaniment to bacon
I never comment on your reviews just because I don't eat a lot of fast food and when I go, I always get the same thing from only a handful of places. Don't be so hard on yourself because even if you don't like it, others will. We are all different. An honest review is something we can always count on from you. They have a blackened bacon, spicy blackened bacon and spicy bacon versions too. I've had issues in with Popeye's chicken sandwiches in the past but that was always execution and not the size or amount of chicken in the sandwich, that was always hefty and itself not an issue. I think you may have gotten a one off but who knows the way they cut back everything these days it could be a trend.
During Lent I wanted to try Popeye's fish sandwich and was so excited. When I opened my sandwich, they gave me a chicken sandwich and put tartar sauce on it- I mean really? The breading is totally different but actually, it was a really tasty sandwich.

Great idea cutting the sandwich in half. So often they put bacon on one side and tomato or something on the other side and when you take the original bite you’re not getting everything. This way when you cut it in half you don’t have to eat half the sandwich to try to get the flavors of everything. Good job you’re the best. God bless you.
New viewer of the channel. I've been practicing mindful eating lately and I must say that the host of this channel, in spite of eating fast food constantly to produce content, is surprisingly not overweight, patient with his bites, and mannered to an enviable extent. You almost NEVER see that with other food review channels, mainly because in a lot of cases it's just an excuse to eat fast food again, and they tend to eat it quickly as if they're in a rush. What I'm saying is that Reviewbrah seems to be in touch with a good, healthy diet and that he doesn't abuse his body's "margin for error" when it comes to consuming empty carbs (bread), starchy carbs (pasta, potatoes, etc.), or refined sugar (candies and pastries). Of course, I could be missing some important context.

I thought it was outstanding. I’ve asked Popeyes officials since they released it, to add a cheese. The Havarti cheese was an excellent choice! They surprised me by also adding bacon! About time!! One note though.. I think the spicy version is just a bit better. Another flavor punch if you will. You got a stinker with the chicken filet. It isn’t all the time. The last one I bought was enormous!
I enjoy this so much, I envision you sitting at a Popeyes in say Detroit, and across the table is the manager and you are telling them verbatim about the lack of meat in every bite. It's the sincerity that I enjoy the most.

I had the original sandwich once. It had a thing hanging off like yours and that thing was just breading on mine. The chicken sandwich also was more like a ball of chicken, a small golf ball of chicken.
Before adding any new items, they need to focus on their customer service skills. I once sat in a hour long drive thru for that stupid chicken sandwich. the location drive thru pretty much kept you trapped til getting to the window. no room to drive out of it. I will never go back, never to any location
I agree with your assessment of that new Popeyes chicken and bacon sandwich Reviewbrah..........They never match the photo in the ad.......I feel like I'm getting ripped-off everytime I buy a sandwich just by looking at the picture of it.......That sandwich that you reviewed showed a small piece of overly breaded chicken fillet that was too small to fully cover the bun leaving you to get a mouth full of bread without any chicken in it.........I'll pass on this one for sure.......
Popeye's Chicken Sandwiches in my area are usually quite good. But occasionally they do serve me a slightly substandard Chicken Appendage Sandwich. Thank you, ReviewBrah, for exposing this potential risk factor.

I review the food reviewers. I can say that Report of the Week is some of the best quality food reviews out on the market today. You can spend your time with countless other channels. What sets Report of the week apart from others is his dedication to authenticity! His sarcastic humor and all around charismatic charm. He is thankful for his viewers and is at all times grateful. I give TheReportOfTheWeek a 10/10 for his overall score. Compared to other food review channels. The beauty of life is not the atoms that go into it, but how those atom are put together. ReportOfTheWeek puts everything together so well. That is where the true beauty of this channel exists.
This is what I have been seeing. As time has gone on the chicken patties have gotten smaller and smaller and more and more breading. They are making the chicken smaller to make more money. Completely agree with the review.
Yeah, remember when the phenomenon of its popularity took off and the lines were wrapped around for like 30 mins and the sandwiches were humungous! -Now it is like half the size.

Thank you for the review, I have noticed the chicken consistency at most of these fast food places is not great. They could use those smaller pieces of chicken in other products and make sure the cut of chicken is thick and consistent.

I was a sandwich sitter for 17 years but sadly most locations have gone to automation now.

I had the original sandwich once. It had a thing hanging off like yours and that thing was just breading on mine. The chicken sandwich also was more like a ball of chicken, a small golf ball of chicken.
Before adding any new items, they need to focus on their customer service skills. I once sat in a hour long drive thru for that stupid chicken sandwich.
the location drive thru pretty much kept you trapped til getting to the window. no room to drive out of it. I will never go back, never to any location

I agree with your assessment of that new Popeyes chicken and bacon sandwich Reviewbrah..........They never match the photo in the ad.......I feel like I'm getting ripped-off everytime I buy a sandwich just by looking at the picture of it.......That sandwich that you reviewed showed a small piece of overly breaded chicken fillet that was too small to fully cover the bun leaving you to get a mouth full of bread without any chicken in it.........I'll pass on this one for sure.......

This is what I have been seeing. As time has gone on the chicken patties have gotten smaller and smaller and more and more breading. They are making the chicken smaller to make more money. Completely agree with the review.
That's every place since COVID, in my experience. prices going up and up and portions and quality plummeting.
Yeah, remember when the phenomenon of its popularity took off and the lines were wrapped around for like 30 mins and the sandwiches were humungous! -Now it is like half the size.

Thank you for the review, I have noticed the chicken consistency at most of these fast food places is not great. They could use those smaller pieces of chicken in other products and make sure the cut of chicken is thick and consistent.
I know it's a common thing, but so many chicken sandwiches now have pickles... and I hate them. :(
