That’s actually my winch disconnect using an Anderson plug connector… Rather than having the winch directly wired to the battery or to a solenoid I can simply connect it and disconnect it if I need to… The plug also allows me to use jumper cables that has an Anderson plug at one end and I can jump vehicles without even popping the hood… I can also run other 12 V Apparatuses from the plug
I really wanted to buy a panel for my F150, but I found a review showing the panel delaminating. The panel was only 7 months old. Have you seen this issue with your panel?

Coming up on 2 months.. no issues to speak of .. the do have a 2 year warranty and great customer service from what I gather.
