I've played on one of these before, definitely a very nice feeling pad. Also some really nice sound, only dealbreaker for me is the $175 price tag. But still a really good pad!
I have few a Drumpads, but neither of them comes close to my Rudimental Control Drumpad, I also bought a pair of Rudimental Control Drumsticks definitely recommend those as well.
got one a while back when it was coming up and when they were on etsy! i got the dragon blood rudimental control 14in pad! i changed the head to a evans gray head and it’s probably one of the best purchases i made for a pad, definitely gonna last me a good while!
prices have definitely gone down since tho, when i purchased mine it was about $300. no customization just shipping and the build. still love it thats fs
Was not expecting $175. I gotta say it doesn't feel like the price tag justifies the limitations - no options for color/rim/size, few head choices, no cutouts to guarantee fit in any snare stand. Compared to RD Pads for example. Hope they make it better so we can support US brands.
From looking at his stuff he's had a bunch of other colored pads. Check out his Instagram page. The stand/foot holes would be an easy addition I would think
Super solid review on this pad so THANK YOU. I've been watching your videos for awhile and My biggest suggestion is to get your video durations down. I understand it's about keeping your audience tuned in for a specific amount of time for YT algorithms, but you are also losing audience and stats by users skipping through to diff parts of the video.
Thanks for the suggestion and I don't disagree with you. I try and cut things where I can but some of them still end up pretty long. I cut several minutes out of this one even. It's a balance of trying to convey all the information without being crazy long but yeah some of them still end up a bit lengthy. Working on it. 🙂
I get it, and I'm the same way. It just means your passionate about your craft when ya can talk all day about something =) Please keep em rollin' @@SnareMan
@@DCvsDJ They are all different. Rampad has the most rebound, but its loud, small and the rim eventually ends up cranked below the playing surface. Rudimental Drummer seems like its built slightly better, but is a little softer to play on. I also like the natural wood finish, although I bet you could get that on RC as well. RC seems to have a little more rebound.
Do you have any drumpads u no longer use? If so I will be glad to put them to good use! I’m just getting into drumming and want to make sure I get one that’s gonna last for a while! If not that’s fine I’ll just have to save up to get my own! @SnareMan
@@SnareManthank you! does this pad have the same issue as the RD pads, with the seperation of the ply’s of the drumheads? And did you find a solution for it?
@@Kevinluka2022 Well, admittedly I haven't played on this one long enough to get to where I think that would start happening, but I'm betting so. I 'think' it might be more of a function of the head resting against the surface underneath and the top ply moving a bit on top of it if that makes sense. No solution on the RD. It happened with several different heads.
@@SnareMan I appreciate you for trying boss also I didn’t know you were into firearms I saw your last video on the weapon light on your DD I’ve got a BCM as well as an aero precision, 308 I think DD will be my next rifle of choice
We love Rudimental Control Pads !! This pad is awesome and so smooth looking .
Nissan was my section leader at Southern University, one of the greatest players I've ever known.

Incredible editing
Thanks!! It does amaze me how much time I spend on a 20min video
Keep up the great work!
Hey SnareMan, love the stuff. Could you do “The Last Pad” and Carlos Botello Signature Marching Pad both by beetle percussion
Thanks! I've been working on trying to get one of those.
Nice review! What are your favorite sticks to play with these days? You always had great diddle quality... even on the Marathons!
How do you know what I sounded like on Marathons? I still like the Innovative Percussion FS-TR's.
Great guy, keep going Nissan 💯‼
We need Drumslinger vs Rudimental Drummers vs RamPad vs Rudimental control
Drumslinger has no interest in sending me a pad. I've tried several times. Didn't even get a response to my emails.
@@SnareMan so out of the other 3 which one is the best in your opinion

Glad you like them!

Does rudimental control ship to europe? I can’t find it on the website
I assume so but I would write and ask them to be sure.

Are you using Agnarr drumsticks
No, they are the rudimental control drumsticks. I talk about them at the beginning of the video
Luv ur vids ❤
Please do a drumslinger pad review
I'd have to be able to get him to write back to me first
