    I’M STICKING TO T-SHIRTS YALL! Was on the edge of my seat editing this video, praying for NO boob slip 😂 Luckily my wish was granted.
    Had fun trying out this technique! It wasn’t the best for me for definition, but amazing for volume! I think those of you who DO enjoy plopping will like this twist as it speeds up the drying process and also gives you a way to 👀 at what’s going on under the hood! 😆
    What did y’all think of the results?! Worth giving it or try or nahhh?

      Hello 👋🏽 I’m new AND vegan like you 😜
      Anywho, I was totally impressed how full your hair looked after you was done and reminded me when my hair used to naturally be like that without adding anything to it.
      Now that I’m older my hair thinned out and not full AT ALL anymore AND it remains super flat in the back 😩
      Can you help please?

    Love this. One thing I learned about net defusing is you actually don't have to use the diffuser once your hair is in the net you can just use the blow dryer without the attachment. That makes it go a lot faster.

    I just came across her video and was considering doing this but had some questions and then you post it! Amazing hack - my hair becomes frizzy at the slightest touch (wet or dry). So it's always definition v/s volume for me. I love that hack makes diffusing so easy.

    I just got my 1st ever order of bounce curl, & was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked their clump&define cream. I was afraid it would weigh my hair down, since a lot of creams do, and I tend to stay away from thicker creams. But instead, it gave me excellent moisture with NO weigh down at all! I used a seriously small amount to each section (due to fear), but next wash day I plan on using the tiniest bit more.

    Just tried both for the first time and I didn't have fishnets so I used a cat grooming bag that I couldn't ever bare to actually put on my cat! 😂 My hair has crazy definition and is soooo moisturized! I have low porosity high density, medium width, 2C-3a hair and it's honestly never been this lovely. I'm usually perfectly happy with my wild witch hair but sometimes it's nice to feel sleekly styled! Thank you for being a bright spot in my rainy day.

      Is the hair net the same as what was used here? I have zero luck using a dryer - I end up with lots of frizz and totally flat bits!! But my hair is fine, high density 2c/3a and, thanks to covid, currently almost at the bottom of my shoulder blades!! So it takes 7+ hours to air dry. Hoping that I can use the diffuser on it when it's in the fishnets or hair net......

    • @JannelleOShaughnessy
      @JannelleOShaughnessy  3 года назад +1

      The fishnets will definitely cut down on frizz because there is no movement in the hair!

      @cathismith2624 3 года назад

      @@JannelleOShaughnessy If I used a diffuser to 'start' it drying, do you think that it would help with the amount of time it would take to dry? Or would I end up effectively 'steaming' it and get even more frizz??

  • @lorainemcgillivray77
    @lorainemcgillivray77 3 года назад

    Hi Janelle I hadn't seen this before, but it makes sense re air flow. I do plop my hair - it's long, thick, course textured, highlighted and 2c/3a. It takes 10 hours to dry naturally aka no diffuser, so I do a mixture as otherwise it would be a whole day. I use a lot of product to tame it and volume is never an issue - taming is the aim for me. I might try it, but for me plopping soaks up a fair bit of water which helps with the drying. I think it will be useful for diffusing re frizz though and that's where it's tempting to try. Fun video and thanks for the idea. Best wishes.

    Hi Janelle - not sure if there is a way to message you outside of commenting under your videos but wanted to reach out and tell you how wonderful it is to have found your channel! I've had curly hair my whole life and grew up in a culture where everyone had pin straight hair with no one having a clue how to teach me how to care for my different hair. For that reason - your videos are so refreshing!! So my random question is - a TON of hair falls out every time I wash/brush it. I never worried because I (no joke) have like 4 times the amount of hair others have. But - after decades of this - I'm starting to get a little nervous. Any tips on how to actively try to reduce the amount of hair that falls out? Any one who might be reading this - does your hair fall out like this? I literally have always had to brush my hair over a sink so I can throw out all the hair after. Thanks much!

    hi Jannelle...I have a question about how you applied the curl cream and other products. You smooth over the canopy, but then you have no product under the canopy and against my scalp. When I apply products the way you, my super soft fine hair is limp under the canopy where no products have reached. Do you not have that issue as well?

      When I add stylers right side up I move the top layers away from the back a little bit. But in general, I just do canopy top and bottom and allow the scrunching time help saturate. I don’t like my curls fully coated, it weighs them down too much!
